Vekka,
Do you want to start out as indifferent, friendly, or helpful with Jubei?This alias has links that describe what those mean - check out the dashboard.
Can I suggest we ax Yun Mong-Un?
If so, with which NPC do you have a stronger relationship?
I think there was some confusion. For my earlier post I was presuming that Jubei was still the the helpful relationship, and was pondering either Kawaka or Yun Mong-Un for the friendly relationship. Then in my initial post I settled on Kawaka for friendly. So Vekka's current relations should be:
Helpful: Jubei
Friendly: Kawaka
Unfriendly: Luda.
Confusion is probably my fault but hopefully this clears it up.

Looks like you upgraded Vekka's heirloom katana. I hadn't considered special materials. Marking that down now :)

@Sigurd
I will be adopting the Remaster changes as they are spoiled and upon getting my Player Core (in two/three weeks!) book.
Here is what we know of Cleric. So, your Font has capacity □□□□.
➤➤➤➤➤
@Party
You can always check the "GM" Tab in the Macros to look up helpful info as towards doing "who Aids who?" maths, for example:
[ dice=Auntie Wu's Survival (T)]1d20+7[/dice]
[ dice=Sigurd Kolphan's Survival (T)]1d20+5[/dice]
[ dice=Kazuki Sato's Survival (T)]1d20+5[/dice]
Sigurd Kolphan, Season of Ghost
Oh, I can't wait for those Remaster changes. Especially the Divine Font.
Looks like Auntie Wu would be best suited to make the Survival checks. Does the team want me to assist? Kazuki or I could Aid.

I’m looking forward to: compute highest spell attack/DC and use for all traditions, multi class spellcasting, ancestry innate spells, etc.
DM rainzax
At least one character will have to use the Sense Direction Exploration Mode Activity to navigate the wilds outside of Willowshore - this will be the person who rolls any Survival checks to avoid becoming lost. If two or more people do this, a single Leader can receive Aid from others.
Correction. "Sense Direction" if heading home, and "Track" if following the tracks. Either way, Survival skill though.
Once we come to a Quorum of Two (two players that agree with no strong disagreements from others), Auntie Wu (and Aid Sigurd?), go ahead and make the check.
And just to say - getting "lost" just means arriving later than expected here, so we are not rolling to see "if" you make it, instead "when" you arrive.
=)

Friendly reminder to mind those flat checks folks!

Oops. I mistakenly thought that flat checks for concealment only applied when making attack rolls. I have re-read the rules and stand corrected.

Yes, but, for example, Kolphan's area attack does not require targeting a creature, and so, no flat check needed.

I actually thought this as well. I think I've been GMing this wrong.

@Sato
You can use the Interact action (page 416) to:
• Draw, put away, or swap an item. You must be holding the item to put it away or wearing it to draw it. Swapping allows you to put away one item and draw another in the same action (such as putting away a dagger and drawing a mace). Abilities that specify what you do when you Interact only allow this if they say so; the Quick Draw feat lets a rogue Interact to draw a weapon, but doesn’t allow them to stow one as well. Swapping lets you swap only one item for another; if you were wielding two weapons, you could put away one of them and draw a different item, but you would need to put away the second weapon separately.
• Pick up an item from the ground.
• Pass off or take a held item from a willing creature. The creature you’re passing to must have a hand free. You can also attempt to throw an item to someone. You typically need to succeed at a DC 15 ranged attack with a 10-foot range increment to do so.
• Detach a shield or other item from you using one hand.
• Change your grip by adding a hand to an item.
• Retrieve a stowed item from a backpack, pouch, or similar container (or put one away). You’ll often need to Interact to open or close the backpack or container.

Did I do something wrong? What do I need to use the interact action for? I took a step, attacked, & raised shield.

New swap action? Whoa! Switch hitting used to be so awful (or you would just drop your weapon to draw the new one)
DM rainzax
After this combat, we'll start integrating the Remaster spoilers, inclusive of Kolphan's divine font, the new Interact action, the Electric Arc cantrip, and others.
=)
Kazuki Sato
Holy cow! That swap action is awesome! Does it work with two handed weapons? Like, swapping a bow and drawing a polearm?

Probably some GM-variance here, but I say yes.
Edit: Also, there is a new fighter feat that let's you single-action stow any number of items, then draw up to two weapons or one weapon and a shield.

Looking for a 2nd to Kolphan’s suggestion.
Or a different idea with a 2nd.

Can someone point me to where the Remastered Electric Arc info can be found? I'm having trouble locating it. Thanks!

To those who trained Medicine, have 5 gold to spare, and forgot to purchase their healer's tools - go ahead and make that change.
Auntie Wu - I have been trolling the forums - there is no print yet - my books will arrive in 2-6 days shipping - rumor is Electric Arc - the most notorious cantrip - has been changed to inflict 2d4 damage, heightening at +1d4, but is otherwise unchanged, consistent with all cantrips having removed the attribute modifier to damage rolls.
We can play it the way of your choosing until it appears on Nethys / in your Player Core book, whichever happens first for you.
=)
Sigurd Kolphan, Season of Ghost
Sigurd's relevant skills:
Deception: 1
Diplomacy: 4
Intimidation: 1
Perception: 5
Stealth: 2
Survival: 5
Sigurd would prefer Confront (using Diplomacy), or Chase to better identify it.
DM rainzax
Lan and Kolphan vote open diplomacy, so we move forward...
Edit: New characters, new dynamics. If someone wants to quickly post a minor retcon to patching up Auntie Wu's wounds by Treating Wounds and/or using Focus Spells, go ahead and include that in your next post!
=)

@Sato,

Ahh. Yeah...
Wisdom +2, Expert +5, and this...Seasonal Boon [free-action]
Trigger: You’re about to roll initiative;
Effect: Something about the situation triggers your defenses, allowing you to react to sudden peril more quickly. You gain a status bonus to your initiative roll equal to the number of seasons since you’ve started Season of Ghosts (+1 during the first adventure, up to a maximum of +4 during the fourth and final adventure). If you can communicate a warning to other PCs, they gain this bonus to their initiative as well.
Adjusted Perception in header to +7.
Will make note in profile about seasonal boon.
Already there.
DM rainzax
Confront Skills (Open):
Deception, Diplomacy, Intimidation, or Perception.
As you craft your post, choose one skill above to roll. If you have special skill feats / ancestry feats, now is a good time to mention them (and provide text / links).
Players are not "forbidden" from bearing arms per se - but I will assume you have done so unless you post otherwise, which if you do, may impose a bonus or penalty to any social skills the party rolls (ex. Diplomacy vs Intimidation)
I'm not going to retcon the game now, but that would have allowed you to act before Hooded Stranger.
I will add "or background abilities" to the sorts of ability requests in the future (bold above), so that what your character is fully capable of happens in the Gameplay thread.
Adjusted Perception in header to +7.
Why don't we put "Perc +7 or +10 to initiative" in your character Alias for now?
=)

@Sato,
What is the damage dice of your bow?
And what kind of bow is it?
Kazuki Sato
It's a Longbow.
Huh. I wonder why I had d6's in there. It does d8 damage. Sorry!
DM rainzax
Longbow has the Volley trait - I'll help you come up with a dice expression that retains this information.
What is the full damage of your Longbow?
Once your damage is fully accurate, go ahead and re-roll in Gameplay!
Kazuki Sato
Yeah. He was more than 30' away before I gave chase.

Players,
A reminder about Loot w/ Wealth Houserules.
➤ Anything you find, you can use immediately
➤ Wealth houserule will have you "(re)purchase" your equipment upon Level Up
➤ When you Level Up, anything on the Loot Sheet is discounted 10% for (re)purchase
So, yes I will keep records of what loot you find, but with no spreadsheet, no addition / division, etc, just a list of goods. This will be linked in the Campaign Header.
Let me know if you have any questions.
=)

Ack! I don't know!
Whoops! Ok. Originally I had it at 1d6+4 and realized I had the wrong die size so changed it to d8. I then didn't know the +4 wasn't supposed to be there. (I think I copy/pasted wrong from a different PC).
Thank you, though, for bringing it to my attention.
All weapons' attack & damage should be correct in dice expressions now.

I don't recall actually but it seemed to have appeared here and I just went with hit. When I went back to look I thought low-grade fit under that cost (but may have been wrong). It should be whatever fits in the heirloom requirements. Everything else fits in his 15gp budget.
