Sigurd also has the light spell.
If it gets too dark for low light vision, Sigurd will cast on his shield.

Auntie Wu, you are looking for the Illuminate spell perhaps - gave you your interact action back in gameplay.
As you had sufficient time as darkness descended slowly you are starting combat with your party light sources lit.

My recollection of that event was that you gave all your stuff to Sigurd (even Mogu) and then the party prioritized recovering the stuff that was confiscated from Vekka - so everyone should have all their things.
If you have a link to where you are talking about, I am open to digging deeper!?...

She had her shield with her when she rescued Midori, per this post. She dropped it, and asked Lan to grab it, but he didn't have time, so it was abandoned when they fled.

That looks to be pretty gone…
…but I can easily say that it didn’t move since you dropped it, and that your party mates who searched the warehouse were able to retrieve it, because you guys did take time to do that.

Folks are forgetting their Concealment checks.
Auntie Wu, Sigurd, and Kazuki, if you have made an attack against a creature outside of your radius of light, and lack the proper vision, please make Concealment checks against those targets!
I have clearly posted those in the Combat tracker, so skipping them does constitute a retcon if they fail.

Auntie Wu was the only person injured, right? Sigurd will use his Divine Font to heal her so we don't waste a lot of time.
I'd like to continue following the trail. They did scatter, but maybe there is a majority we can follow.
arg, not the most fruitful use of runic weapon. somehow I expected that to take a little longer.
FYI: I am going away this weekend on a camping trip and will be away from computers. I will likely have signal but limited ability to post on my phone and with little time to do so. I will check all of my games before I leave and since it's just the weekend I hope for minimal disruption.
I will return early evening on Sunday (US/pacific) time and catching up and resume posting.

I realize I didn’t specify which skill.
The Reconnoiter check would be Survival or something like Mountain Lore or Mining Lore.
For this check, I think Crafting and/or Religion as an Aid skill seems most appropriate!

My mom had a heart attack at 3 am Arizona time this morning. Bot me if needed, please. I'll be back as soon as possible.

Auntie Wu would want to follow the thing because:
1) We don't know exactly where to go anyway.
2) It may be a scout for the bad guys.
If it becomes apparent that it's just a random creature that lives around here and isn't going to help us rescue Ugly Cute, she's fine with cutting losses and leaving it alone.
I say we give chase. We haven't heard any obvious chanting, so it's not clear if we're in the right cave. This could be a spider... or it could be a recently reborn Ugly Cute who can't communicate.

Going to raise the tension a bit. Ugly Cute will either be saved and become a permanent fixture for the campaign, or destroyed forever irrevocably!
After the first round 3 roll comes down, I will no longer be taking hero points for rounds 1 and 2.
Also, as this is a ritual, the “+1 DC for repeating a skill” is relaxed - the DCs here will be static through all 3 rounds.

If they are known (Aiding in hindsight bc PbP), I will randomize the subject.

No pressure, but if one of you succeeds, Ugly Cute lives. I can only help if I spend a Hero Point and roll a 20, so I won't spend my Hero Point.

Lan will use his special Hero Point if Vekka (or Kazuki) wants to Reroll but doesn't want to use a Hero Point.
