Iolth Taknith |

Suddenly, a multitude of cards appear in Kaetar's hands, and as she sets them down on the desk, they grow into full-sized textbooks. "While we were traveling, I made sure that Iolth did not neglect his scholarly studies. I composed these syllabi myself, and the one Iolth was reading previously. I have this knowledge because I was a ghaele azata before I was felled in combat, and I have visited many planes as a result. As for dating," Kaetar says, and then she transforms into about a thirty-five year old stern woman in a pin-striped suit. "I can change my form to a certain degree. Most of the facility wouldn't even know about our relationship."

Salis of Bletherad |

After Tyrrin left, Ori looked over at Salis, smiling. "There's an entire section in the library on words of power. I've been looking forward to studying it actually. Perhaps we can study it together. But in the meantime, you are going to need to hurry as well or you'll be late to your first class."
She helped him gather his papers and kissed him passionately before effectively shooing him out the door.
"Ah yes I do have a class to teach. Thank you for the reminder. I have quite the lecture today for class. It's a shame I don't have more time for this class." He sighed before throwing his satchel over his shoulder and stepping in to the hall. "See you for lunch." He told Ori before starting his way to class.

Melody Waverider |

Mel was talking to Tybs when Vicky and Artie approached offering help.
She looks over, Huh? when did you guys get here? and who's the metal man?
she shakes her head, don't worry about that. I wish I could explain, its a little complicated really. and its something tybs should say, its not my place

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt curls in a little more with the introduction of all the new people.
"Thank you for asking. But it's not really something that can be fixed... I just need a little time...."
He looks around the room, clutching his body tightly, looking uncomfortable.
"Do we have a blanket? I really want a blanket..."
With Tybs a blanket works just as well as a normal person. Just so long as it doesn't produce heat. It will still keep the cold he generates insulated. See, a blanket only wouldn't work if he produced heat. But, because he does the opposite, and doesn't have a limit to how cold is comfortable, a blanket would work almost better than a normal person. Sorry. Meant to address that earlier.

Cindra Svarog |

Cindra blushes and avoids the young firebird's eyes when he starts flirting. To her credit she only giggles once and stifles any other show of amusement when he is tripped, and gives Serrin a disapproving look out of the corner of her eye. She does not respond directly to him at any point.
When the explosion happens in the headmaster's waiting room, (which they are close to if not right in front of) she flinches, then starts helping the professor gather his scattered papers.

Melody Waverider |

Mel looks to the others in the room then back to Tybs a bit sympathetically.
She goes over to Vic and Arthur, whispering so Tybs cannot hear
Tybs is having a bit of a real emotional breakdown. he feels like the one person he cares the most about has rejected him. Now i am pretty sure it really isn't like that, but still it is really difficult.
looking to Arthur, for once can you drop the science and be human. please. she is not looking angry, more like she would like to see Arthur's more caring and sympathetic side.

Melody Waverider |

Mel looks to Arthur about the racist comment. she looks a little angered at the comment are you human? I believe the answer is yes, the only one in here by the way. all I have asked you to do was stop being scientific for a change and try looking at this situation a little more humanely.
with that she turns her attention back to Tybs.

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt has laid down on the table/bed and turned away from the crowd of people here.
He is back in the curled up ball, but on his side instead.

Melody Waverider |

Mel get as close as she can, Tybs? I really sure Dave didn't do what he did to actually hurt ya. I think he just needed a little more space. but he will come back to you. You are the best thing that has happened to him since coming here, it will take time but he will eventually realize that.
placing a hand on him trying to comfort him. we can't ever give up on our friends, I won't give up on you, and you won't give up on Dave. Dave has gone through a lot, he needs time to sort it all out. but knowing that you will be there, ready to receive him when he is ready, just might be the most important thing to him, you are the light at the end of his dark tunnel. So you stay lit for him.
Mel takes a seat on the icy floor next to the bed.
Ya know tybs, I don't know how many times I dreamed of having someone there for me, like you are for Dave, I guess I'm a little jealous of that. Please don't shut us out.
I know, Tybs...do you wanna build a snowman?

narrator |
"One, the number of explosions, earthquakes, fires, demonic invasions, riots, techno-zombie attacks, and Hunters this school has dealt with pretty much makes it impervious to a little proto-matter explosion. Two, we encourage safe exploration of a students abilities and control. You'll have plenty of opportunity for that later. Three, as long as you do not deliberately harm a fellow student, detention for seeing what you can do is pretty uncommon.""Hello, Miss Kaetar. I will need proof that you are well versed in the...

"Oh, thank you, miss," the gnomish engineering professor says, peering at Cindra through his thick spectacles that make his eyes look comically huge. "I simply wasn't expecting the office to blow up just then...really more the sort of thing you expect in the alchemy classroom or the cafeteria, you know? Be a dear and hand those to the secretary please? I have to hurry or I'll be late to teach my first class of the day," he said, affably, handing the disorganized stack of papers to Cindra and hurrying off.

Carl Ironfist Prometheus. |

As Carl it's the cold you can see it affect him, but he seems to heal the Damage just as fast, then his body shimmers over with Iron and he's incased in his space mining suit, blocking out the cold.
"I know lad, just looking for ya, bit chilly in here, but no as cold as space like"
He clanks up to them looking down at the cold cat.
"Is he hurt?"
Carl is a miner who works in space, his built in iron skin ability works as his space suit. He dis take DMG coming in but he's got a really high healing factor

![]() |

which means painful but not damaging, you wouldn't be comfortable I wouldn't thinkArthur raises one eye at Carl's reaction to the cold, not that it can be seen under his suit, but doesn't say anything, knowing his pride "emotional probs," he whispers "unrequited romance, lotsa drama"

Carl Ironfist Prometheus. |

Its his work, the Iron skin is modded so he can work in the just above absolute zero Vacuum of space. He's used to it, but he's slow, 10'r move and clanking around. seeing as he's now 10x the weight he was.
whispers: "O, wee cats got a broken heart then, ya think beer will help the kitty, helps us dwarfs, by the way sum imp ive been told made me into a lass, so this time am ready for the (#^(##0er"
He waves his net.

Renkai Urmas |

Renkai feels the wind tearing across his exposed face... He ties a square of cloth across the tender flesh, but it is so unlike his pale smooth ivory that has been his constant companion for so long.
The street is empty, market stalls vacant of peoples, but wares of all shapes, sizes, and purposes lay where their missing owners had lain them on display. Shining white bowls lay upturned in the dust, and coated with weeks worth of grime.
Renkai grips the black, sweat stained hilt of his long sword, advancing with caution down the road. He unconsciously stays in the shadows and nearby cover, but his ability to hide in any condition and with the magically muted steps aren't there. What once would have been the ability to stand upon someone's front step and be unnoticed, is now only the cautious creep of a common thief...
The dead town is barren and soulless... A superb comparison to how he feels... He has abandoned his school and had his valued mask stripped away by that black clothed specter.

"Well, -smack- she was friends with the -mph- Conjuration teacher. Maybe she /is/ -nom- a planar wanderer." Vai replies, obviously paying no attention to decorum at the moment as she devours her plates at a record rate all the while trying to keep the conversation going - conscious that classes will start soon. Dragons care not if their motuh is full when speaking! "But -chomp-, you're right, we shouldn't -crunch- just assume things."

Treisdan Achdarach |

Treisdan's eyes slide open slowly... His head turns and surveys his room... Seeing the smooth, empty floor space devoid of the circles for the summoning of the vestiges.
He smiles softly and rises to his feet, planning on heading for the cafeteria.
Anyone who wants to can stop me and talk if you like

Treisdan Achdarach |

Treisdan sees the diminutive creature, but fails to give significance to the scintillating pattern upon its back, because of the interference of its wings and its size.
He thumps his lengthy staff upon the floor with every step, more out of habit rather than the actual need for the magical aide, he still feels the weakness of his magic and the schism within his soul, but is glad to be rid of the foul nature of himself.

Anahita bint Tariq |

Having left the boy and his angel 'friend' at the Headmaster's office, Vare hurried as much as he could, heading towards his classroom to finish preparations for the morning classes.
In the midst of preparing, Vare, depending on his perceptiveness, may notice the immediate appearance of a familiar figure.
Standing where she appears, Anahita walks from the doorway to one of the seats, while saying, "Good morning, Professor. I trust you slept well? Any wild stories in between my departure and only just returning? I thought to surprise you, however, this is your office, if I'm not mistaken." She has a glint of playfulness in her eyes, but that's brief.
Slipping onto a table to sit, she does have a new article of clothing on, some scarf of a dark nectar color, wrapped around her shoulders and neck. Quite fetching, going along with the white cotton desert clothing, with it's embroidery in gold and flames, plus the brief glint of metal around her left hand and fingers.
Feeling the cloth of the scarf, while looking idly around the room she'd been in previously, her eyes peer at the details with ease, before returning to fall upon Vare once more.

Kevin Ramos |

Kevin stands and stretches, twisting his boneless arms in a spiral behind his neck.
"I'll see you around. Heading to a Sim room. First class today is free period. Got some stuff I want to try."
With that, unless stopped, he goes to a sim room as planned.

Lim-Môr Azair'vialys |

Lim-Môr is in Royston's class, preffering to use his own large golden revolver.

Tybalt Baneko |

Mel get as close as she can, Tybs? I really sure Dave didn't do what he did to actually hurt ya. I think he just needed a little more space. but he will come back to you. You are the best thing that has happened to him since coming here, it will take time but he will eventually realize that.

I know, Tybs...do you wanna build a snowman?
He switches over and places a paw in Melody's hand, holding it there. He is quiet for a while.
"I just don't know Mel... what if I'm not what's best for him... I want to help him so bad, but I feel like I'm only making it harder for him..."
Asha Soleil |

She was able to eat the rest of her meal with greater success, but nearly jumped off her chair when she heard a loud dinging sound.
"What was that?" she asked, wide-eyed, having never heard the bell used to tell people to go to class before.

Chara del Sol |

Skipped cheerfully down the hall, dragging Ignace along with her. Ignace was a bundle of nerves now that she knew going to the nurses office wasn't an option.
"Stop being so silly! Big sis is teaching class today! It can't be that bad with her in charge," she said, trying to encourage Ignace.

Keme Tokala |

Keme just couldn't take it anymore. Somebody needed to step in and help before this poor kid's life turned into an actual circus. A small fox darts out from underneath the desk at the nurses' station and transforms into an exceptionally pretty boy.
"Okay, people, that's enough. Too many trying to help at once, let the poor guy have some peace and quiet. You!" he said, pointing at Vickory. "Fetch a thermal blanket from that cupboard over there, third one from the left and bring it to him, then leave him be. You!" he said, pointing at Arthur, "Go fetch some cookie dough ice cream. Yes, it has to be cookie dough. Treating a broken heart with chocolate ice cream...that's just crazy talk. The rest of you, except her," he said, pointing to Melody, "please exit the room. Rejection sucks. Even more with an audience. I know you want to help, but one at a time, please and thank you."
::If you ever want to talk about it, I'm available. I know a thing or two about rejection. The girl I liked went to such drastic lengths to get away that she skipped dimensions without even saying goodbye. Nothing says 'stay away from me' like not even being able to be on the same plane.::

Silinrul |

Silinrul had been sitting quietly, watching Asha eat such a massive amount of food. He had seen similar in the wilds, usually from an animal who for whatever reason was unable to have stowed away enough food for winter. Or had been held captive. Poor girl must have been near starved to eat so.
Then the bell rings, and she jumps. He too had never heard such a sound, and so he's claws come out, and he looks around for threats "What in the Abyss was that?!"

Asha Soleil |

Asha shrieks when Silinrul's claws come out and she falls through her chair, realizing as she fell that he wasn't threatening her. But it was too late to stop herself and she ends up resolidifying in just the wrong position...one of the chair legs is going straight through her leg. She screams.

Ardiente |

Morrivan sighed and started nervously twirling her hair. "No, it's...it's kinda stupid. But I guess I have to tell someone sometime. When I found out that night about...about Rodhas and Joneh....I was devastated. I think it was Ginni who brought me to Sadie, but honestly everything was kind of blurry then, so maybe it wasn't. And she had this frozen panicked look when she saw how upset I was. But, to give credit where it's due, she tried. I stayed in her room that night, but it wasn't at all romantic. I just happened to collapse there. And then in the morning...In the morning Vai came asking Sadie to help her with some important mission, and Sadie agreed without so much as a second thought. I don't know if it was because she was relieved to get away or because she's still kinda hung up on Vai. Probably both. I was mad because she didn't even consider how I might feel about it at all, and...we got into a fight and broke up. I...I just can't be the only one who cares about our relationship...and now we don't have one. So...yeah...told you it was stupid."
Ardiente fidgeted slightly at that, a little uncomfortable as Morrivan explained her problems. He had no idea how he wouldn't reacted in a similar situation. Wait what? Sadie and Vai...? Vai was with... hmmm.
"I don't think I'm a very good candidate to decide what is and isn't stupid in this respect, Morrivan. I grew up on the Sun after all, and alot of the time there relationships were more about breeding than anything else, for all the romantic stories that are told. But I do know that if your feelings were legitimate then they aren't stupid." Ardiente says seriously, glancing at Raelle and squeezing her a little tighter around the shoulder. "Heh, you should've seen how confused I was at the idea of two girls getting together when I first got here. Totally didn't get it." he adds with a vague wave of his hand.

Repp, the Bleached |

"Hmm? Yes? Who is it?"
Repp cursed just as the bell rang, though spoke up so that he could be heard through the door. "I need someone to help me find a friend who's gone missing. The arrows led me here." He replies, not really caring overmuch for going to class at the moment.
