Well....
I should be able to move forward tonight.
DM Carbide |
For those of you who still play PFS1E, I'm part of a round-robin group playing in standard mode. We lost a couple of players and could use at least one more. Level range is ~4-6. Let me know if you're interested.
DM Carbide |
For sure we have an occultist/3, a fighter/4 with helpful familiar, and a witch/6. We may also have a rogue/3 scaly fist/1.
DM Carbide |
No, we're still getting started.
DM Carbide |
Oops, missed replying to this. A round-robin game is where several people alternate running for the rest of the group and playing. Ideally you have the same PCs (with the exception of the person who's running).
DM Carbide |
If you joined now, there are two people ahead of you in line, so it'd be a few months. When it got to your turn, we'd figure out which scenario would work for everyone.
DM Carbide |
That'd work. We'll be playing "Test of Tar-Kuata" HERE; if you haven't already played it, dot in there.

Just did!

FYI, I'm the Overseer GM for the GameDay PFS1e special, and I have no idea what the time commitment is going to be for it--I've frontloaded all of the overseer posts and saved them on Google Drive, so I can drop them into the various game threads quickly, and that will help. I may be slow to post some days, though.
The Stone Fist |
I'm going on leave for a little over a week, and might not be able to post. Please bot Haftor as necessary. He can heal everyone up in the morning, but if it takes several of his channels, he'll suggest they take another day of rest so they don't go back to the fort depleted.
DM Carbide |
This may change the calculus somewhat: after resting the first night, everyone is now 6th level!
Kronug the Merciless |
I'd also suggest using Treat Deadly Wounds on anyone who is seriously injured. Even without a Healer's Kit (meaning -4 on the check), Haftor could still have a +8 with an Aid Another from Seamus, meaning needing to roll 12+.
As best as I can tell, Jarrek and Trianne are the most wounded.
Jarrek was 20/39 after being healed from the ogres fight, so he is down 19. But after the Manticore fight he said he still had 2 Oracle spells left, and he hadn't used any since then. They could be CLW before resting.
Trianne is down 20.
Treat Deadly Wounds would restore 5 HP to each (if it happens before we level) and resting would restore 6, I would think.
I don't mean to harp on this, but it does seem like Seamus has at least 2 CLW of his own left (his one prepared that he hasn't used, and his Boro Bead to replenish it).
Between Jarrek's remaining Oracle spells, Seamus's remaining extract(s), the Heal skill, and resting, we may all be full up (or nearly so) in the morning.
Kronug's changes:
HP: 1d5 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10, new total 70
+1 BAB (iterative attack!)
+1 to all saves
Ftr6 feat: Barroom Brawler
FCB: +1 CMD to Grapple, Trip
Skills: Climb, Knowledge (Religion), Swim
Background Skills: Profession (Soldier), Linguistics (Orc)
Tactician increases duration to 6 rounds
Knowledge (Religion) 1 rank combined with Barroom Brawler lets him pick up the Soulblade feat to fight haunts in the future if needed.
Trianne Ashton |
I'm fine with whatever healing/time process works best overall. It's just not in Tri's wheelhouse.
CL6 Changes
Trianne:
HP: 1d3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5 = 41 Total
Skill Points: 2+3 (Int)+1 (Human) (Knowledge: Arcana, Knowledge: Dungeoneering, Knowledge: Nature, Spellcraft, Stealth, UMD)
Background SP: 2 (Appraise, Craft: Weaponry)
+1 BAB
+1 F/R/W Saves
+1 2nd level spell/day
+1 3rd level spell/day
+2 Spells Known (Level 3- Dispel Magic, Displacement)
Favored Class: +1 Spell Known (Level 2- Make Whole)
Transmuter - Telekinetic Fist dmg increase to 1d6+3
Soot:
20 HP
DM Carbide |
Once everyone has updated their characters, we'll continue.
Jarrek Everstand |
Jarrek's updated, I need to look at my notes to see what all changed. I know he didn't get a BAB or any save improvements from getting Bard 5.
I realized I had forgotten about Power Attack going from -1/+2 to -2/+4, I know that one.
Oh, and Arcane Bond but that's mostly pointless except for the extra spell per day.
The Stone Fist |
Lvl 6:
HP: 1d4 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 3 = 9
Skill Points: 2+1(Int) (Heal, Knowledge (engineering), Profession (stonemason))
+1 BAB
+1 F/R/W Saves
Bonus Feat: Shield Focus
+1 0th level spell/day
+1 2nd level spell/day
Kronug the Merciless |
@Haftor, have you been applying your Favored Class Bonus? Doesn't look like you did on your level-up, so if you haven't been doing it until now you might get a windfall.
Either +6 HP, or +6 skill points, or 6*(+1/3 uses of Blessings that affect weapons or armor).
Trianne Ashton |
Can't speak to prior, but Haftor's level 4 10/27/20 and level 5 12/1/21 upgrades included +1 HP for FC. Wasn't included for level 6 by the looks... I think this dwarf might be drunk on warhammer relic power.
The Stone Fist |
Not power, just whiskey. In my defense, I am on leave.
I always take the HP for FC, and lvl 6 is no exception. I'll fix it.
Also, and I'm just sayin', but Trianne has truly Freudian hang-up on Haftor's hammer. Sometimes a hammer is just a hammer, but sometimes it ain't. Amirite?
Jarrek Everstand |
What's our specific goal here? Are we just here to kill Grenseldek or retrieve something from her treasure hoard?
DM Carbide |
It's being a busy week at work, but I should have some time to post in the next day or so.
