I do. I suppose I should attach it to Vekka to save the action each round to sustain it, but that can also be done next round. The initial casting was meant to give the party an initial view of the space.

Done, I'm going to keep it as the single point as I think the 20/40ft radii would be pretty unwieldy on the map, covering up others and such.

Lan can't see in the darkness, but he casts a 3-action heal spell to blast healing to all around.
Heal, 3rd rank, 3-action: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 4, 2) + 3 = 16
It's overkill for some, but I also wanted to see if we can target the haunt with vitality.
It looks like this roll doesn't factor in the dimmed Vitality in the dreamscape, per the Life Essense spoiler in this post. Is that correct? If so, we could simply ignore the last number rolled (in this case a 2) to simplify things. Thoughts?

I forgot about that! I agree with the proposed solution - the +3 should be reduced to a +2, as well, as Sorcerous Potency depends on the spell level as well (so it should have been 2d8+2 instead of 3d8+3).

Pro Tip: Everytime I create an overlaying aura in slides, which covers everyone else's tokens, I then immediately "Cut/Paste" all the other PC / Monster Tokens.
Because, if someone puts their cursor over two objects, the "most recent" is offered first.
This trick allows people to still easily move their tokens though my aura.
(I just did this for Sigurd's Heart Light)

Religion or Nature to (◆◆) say a short prayer. This Slows, but does not permanently disable the Haunt. You can be anywhere in the dreamscape to use this action, and you only need to be able to detect Kugaptee with an imprecise sense or better (so, even if blinded by darkness, etc).
Clarification: Does this require the Seek action prior to using this action?

I'm not sure whether everything here is happening simultaneously, or in turns. Lan has normal vision and no light source, so if Sigurd and Vekka have already moved, Lan is in the dark and moves half speed. If he's moving simultaneously with Sigurd, he can keep up. I've put two icons on the map, one (to the NE, lagging behind the group) if he's in the dark, and the other (to the SW, next to Sigurd) if he can keep up.
Going to stick to Encounter rules as written - you are all welcome to make use of clever Delay and Ready tactics as you please.

How high up on the stone slab is Tan Sui-Jing? For some reason, I thought it was like an altar, the top being only 3 ft off the ground. Sigurd mentioned climbing up and lowering a rope.
I have no idea how high up she is.

Players, remember that the Light Spell creates “bright 20” and “dim 40” so you gotta stay within 20 feet of your nearest light source else pay Difficult Terrain cost for movement due to being Blinded.

Right! We can just walk up the pillar. The text says "with enough willpower". Lan is the only one who tried it, but he rolled a nat 1 on his will save/check and assumed he failed.

Make sure you didn't accidentally hide the Gameplay thread. If you go to the Gameplay forum, and it's greyed out or whatever, it's hidden. There's a little Ø symbol somewhere that toggles whether it's hidden or not.

You can do whatever you like - you don't have to use all your 3 actions - check out the Delay and Ready rules if you'd like to get creative - I'm going to rule that you stay at the bottom of the rock rather than climbing (waiting for Sigurd).
I will try to be more clear with the rules about how to Climb or "Climb" it by adding a compiled text summary. Check the "Wall of Ghosts" alias post for that.
Moving us forward now.

To be clear I'm pretty sure you roll it yourself (I did so when I used up my last hero point).
Further, if you want to do that, I suspect the GM would want you to resolve that before rolling the *new* save (correct me if I'm wrong there GM).

Yes roll that hero point and go from there.
If this drops you a few turns back, I am going to pull you out of the action because rewinding several turns is too onerous and tension-breaking.
In the future, I’m going to need you to step up on tracking your character’s status to prevent these kinds of situations.
