231 posts. Organized Play character for Farol.
|
Dear players,
I am looking into GM'ing Prey for death it is a standalone adventure in PF2, starting at level 14 and ending at level 18. It is designated for 4 players that would be Red Mantis assassins => you need to feel comfortable working for organization that assassinate people. This is still team of PC's against the odds and not each player for themself game ;)
I still need to read the whole adventure, and the process for creating and reviewing PCs will take some time. It will be run in PBP here on forums, so take into consideration that this is commitment for more than a year.
Since this will be a team of 4, there is not that much place for redundancy, if there is one wizard in a party you will probably not be able to play as a second one, so being flexible on who to play is a must.
In order to throw their hat into the ring please provide the following information:
1. Describe a character that you would like to play this adventure with, I don't need a build and a list of features, but give me a paragraph about them
2. What is your experience with PBP/PBD? Have you played APs/standalone adventures in that format, and what have you found challenging about them
3. Give me the answer to the following question: You play dice in a casino, and you have a strong inkling that Nivi is playing at your table. How would you notice? [Yes I know that this is a silly question]
I will pick players in roughly a week, then we would start creating PCs and the rest would follow
Hey folks, welcome to my table. AFAIK most of you have played at my tables, so you know the drill:
- be friendly
- be nice
- update daily :)
:D I am kidding, but above should be followed. I expect you to update daily during the week and once during the weekend is nice (altho it dont' have to happen). When something happen it is good to let us know, so we can bot you.
What I do like the most in RP games is ... role playing. I love it, and I value it dearly. GM'ing on its own is not my favorite thing, so I try to not GM too much to keep the enjoyment high.
This game is part of Gameday XIII, so only the ones who signed up have a spot. Recruitment sheet
Welcome to the happy ones that got their spot!
As I prepare this short adventure, feel free to talk about the characters. Above, I added the link to pregens. If you want, you can pick one of them, if you prefer to create your own PC feel free. The only limit is that it has to be Kobold, and ideally if it would be from Hookclaw or that you describe how do you know it, and why you would be invited to their expedition. It will take me couple of days to get things ready.
I've set up also RPGChronicle link for later on to pass chronicles. Keep in mind that despite this adventure being similar to head-shot the rot and others it grants only 1 XP, but still 4 rep and 8 bundles + 8 days of downtime. So It may give you plenty of money, if anyone cares.
Call for Kobolds!
I am trying to check if there is interest in playing this Kobold only one-shoot, Little trouble in Big Absalom.
It is a sanctioned short adventure, granting 1XP!, 4 rep and 8 days of downtime. It is designed for pregens, but I will accept lvl 1 Kobolds if someone is willing to make one.
I am checking if there are people interested in playing it, I will be looking for 4 players, please while volunteering respond to the following questions
1. Are you free to PF2/PBP?
2. Are you an active gm?
3. If you were a kobold what would be your favorite dish?
I will start only 1 table (if I find people interested), but since this adventure is free, maybe other GM's will pick up
Hey Folks,
I have filled in the links, that I would hope that you could fill in:
- Macro sheet - it is for secret checks and initiatiative
- Presentation - with your avatars + ordering if by any chance there would be combats
- RPG Chronicles - for reporting purpose
Please let me know when you fill them in, so that I don't have to chase you down ;)
==============
It is a pleasure to have you all at my table, I know each and every one of you (altho I did not GM for everyone yet ;)).
Ok All, the rules of the house:
- I expect you to post daily from monday to friday, ideally also once through the weekend (but this is nice to have).*
I will do my best to follow that rule, but some time ago I switched jobs and moved to a different country, and I get those periods of time when everything is chaotic. As a result I am not GM'ing as much as I did before (and to be frank I was never GM'ing a lot):
- Be nice and respectful towards the other players/gm. We are all here to have fun, so lets have it
- Feel free to ask questions and challenge me on my decisions. I am not an oracle when it comes to rules so feel free to raise your concerns
- I am running fights in block initiatives, I treat init rolls as a guidance and then cluster players together, sometimes I will move a bad guy up or down, just to not have a lot of back and forth between PCs and enemies => so that we can wrap up rounds during one day.
- For secret checks you can either roll them yourselves (put them in the spoiler and don't peek) or ask me to do them.
Above all, welcome all! The game starts in two weeks, if I feel like it I may set up a scene for you to introduce yourselves

This is a recruitment thread for 3-15: Cavern of the Sundered Song. This is a 9-12 non-repeatable scenario, and there are no pregens on this level so you need to have lvl 9 PC to play this.
This recruitment is not first-come-first-served, I will keep the recruitment open for roughly 2-4 days. The game will start end-next week (closer to 25th/26th April).
Organizational stuff:
- Posting expectancy, 1 post per workday and ideally 1 per weekend (weekend being Saturday/Sunday)
To apply:
- Please make a post using your PC's profile, I will have a look at it. And please respond to the following questions?
- Tell me something fun/interesting about the PC that you want to bring?
Other:
- I value role-play, I will be adding bonuses to the skill checks if they are well described, nicely narrated, creative etc. I don't mind people struggling with it, I do mind people not trying.
- If you are an active PF2 GM and you run a game for me, don't be shy and step forwards. I have relatively good avatar memory, but you know ;)
This is a discussion thread for Outpost VII game #3-19: Mean Streets of Shadow Absalom. All of the recruitment need to happen through the official sheet

You keep on discussing if you want to enter the fishery or wait for the dawn ...

This is a recruitment thread for 2-23 An Agent's Obligation. It is a 3-6 lvl, non-repeatable scenario. I am planning for this game to start around 24th of May.
This is a GM's selection recruitment, I will keep it open for at least 24 h. One spot is reserved for Rhizzuk, Pirate's Rob PC. Due to that, I will prefer lvl 5 or 6 PC's to match their lvl.
Few notes on what I expect and check during recruitment:
- I like people who posts daily, I will be posting each workday (mon-fri), and sometimes during the weekend, I expect the same from my players (with the exception of weekends which is not obligatory).
- I value RP, this is why I play PBP to learn about your PC's to play through emotions and fears. I prefer players that value RP and descriptions over rolls. I will check your PC posts while doing the selection.
To express your willingness please post in this thread with your PC's profile, if your PC has no profile please link their character sheet.
Discussion thread, more info to come when the team is selected
dot and delete for those who got spot on this game
