This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Lang lets Midori continue to hold him. he seems to enjoy her touch, it fills him with confidence, a belief in himself.

all the while he keeps the ever watchful eye on Sara.

female human Witch 5 / Pack Lord Beastmaster 0.5

Sara is having a fine time piloting Simba. At first she had a hard time not just instructing him by voice, but she has gotten used to giving directions the way Simba was used to.

Male Imp Gestalt Alchemist/Wizard 15

Or, I could find all the watches I've collected and we could use one of them. Gold and other precious metals are usually pretty receptive to magic, so it wouldn't take much work. My book might have instructions for the transfer somewhere."

He smiles brightly, happy to accept praise from Dave.
With Mel here, Dave happy, and everything being alright for a little while, his world seems to be in a perfect place, even if only for a moment.
He doesn't notice himself start to purr with all of the good things happening.

"I kinda want something harder than gold, but maybe we can find a way of magically hardening it, we can check out your watch collection at lunch"

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

"My ring is connected to a small demi-plane. Trust me when I say it will take more than lunch to sort through all this stuff and find the watches."
He looks over at Mel being quiet.
"Mel, do you know anything about metal working?"
It's not like her to be so quiet, so he wants to include her.

Female [Classified] Bard 16 / [classified] 16

Mel just looks to tybs like she was suddenly started awake. Huh? a little, well I know the science behind it, never really did any metalworking. what is it your looking for? she asks with a smile, although it is evident in her eyes that she feels like something is missing.

it seemed Mel was trying to not interfere with Dave and Tybs, letting them have their time together.

Time that she was wishing to spend with someone, someone that managed to disappear.

"Or for that matter, know anyone that does and you could call in some favors from?

Female [Classified] Bard 16 / [classified] 16

Mel looks to Dave, she thinks for a minute then its like a light bulb went on. yeah, I think I do, but in truth I owe him a favor, it was him and Raelle, Ginni, and Arthur that saved me yesterday, I really owe all of them. But, I know that they would do almost anything to help me.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Tybalt is happy to stand next to Dave as he and Mel talk shop.
He hears the tone Mel carries, but doesn't want to say anything, as he doesn't want to make it any harder on her than it is.

Nurse Person

The nurse nods, eventually stopping Rena's affectionate arm rubbing with a smile, saying, "Certainly. I'm certain when he wakes up he'll be happy to hear that. Classes are starting soon, don't forget to get a healthy meal in before hand."

Unless there's more asked of her, she gets back to her work.

"Thank you," she says before motioning to the others that they should leave. Being in the infirmary always made her feel uncertain and in the way. She was glad not to spend more time there than was absolutely necessary.

"The battle of Nankwai Bridge then...you have to defend a bridge against two armies. It is an extremely challenging scenario. Though I should caution you...my onii-chan says that there is no battle nearly as intimidating as delivering an apology to a woman for having behaved badly. So I cannot promise that it will adequately prepare you for that particular skirmish," she said with a hint of humor.

Once Ehos departs, he asks his sister "So, uh, what do I need to do in order to uh, become a student here" Its obvious to her that while he knows he now needs to stay here, her bro is not overly comfortable with the idea.

"After we're done eating we'll head over to the office. Sometimes you talk to the Headmaster, but just as likely we'll get help from the secretary or one of the teachers. We have to fill out the forms and you'll have to pick out which classes you need to take. That's pretty much it. You'll be assigned a room of your own, and once you have your schedule you can start attending classes."

"It's a long story." Vai says in response to Florence. "A long, you're probably-better-off-not-knowing type of story. But yeah Tybs, there's... alot of us here. You'll be surprised how many." She replies companionably, though her mood turns decidedly more sour when David approached, and then her pointed ears perk slightly and she glances in the direction of... Ardiente and Raelle? Raelle looked like she was crying.

There's something of a accusatory glare at David, before Vai quickly turns on her heel and marches away, making for where Raelle and Ardiente were standing, right in the middle of the cafeteria, approaching from where Raelle could see her with a hand raised lightly to wave if she did.

Smiling again, she pulls out the datapad, glancing at it, the screen flashes some illumination in her features, though not visible as to what, then Maya smiles further, looking back towards Tyrrin, with datapad against her chest once more.

"I thank you for your time, just meeting and greeting,...

Tyrrin waves a hand dismissively at the notion of hurrying along her return to classes. "Honestly, teaching is a new experience for me, and I think valuable in it's own right as well."

"Glad to make your acquaintance Professor, I hope to see you around the school." she continues politely, before moving on, continuing in the direction the arrows were guiding her, towards Professor Reading.

His own loss was just under the surface, and this threatened to bring it to the fore... but Raelle needed him right now. Needed him to be strong for her, like she had been strong for him.

He wasn't going to say that everything would be okay though, that was a lie. "I know it hurts. Flames above do I know how losing people you care about hurts." Female Firebird

Lily is growing increasingly agitated at the rather loud and offensive conversations on in the bus-shuttle, hoping that they would arrive shortly and she wouldn't have to listen to these ungrateful fledglings and their 'theories'. It was exactly this kind of thinking that was driving Firebirds ever downwards. It was this and that mixed-blood Firebird who had caused the loss of their beautiful home. If only the execution had gone more smoothly, and those Phoebus brats - attractive though they may be - had just left the mixed-blood to die. Not to mention the soot-blooded b#&*%.

Lily does her best to keep up the veneer of stoicism, but she's visibly growing angry, her brow furrowing.

Male Elf Bard 14/Sorcerer (Maestro) 14

Ehos trots silently back out of the bathroom, his hands having been cleaned of all the remaining glue and the residue from the Solvent, and he heads back over to where the goo guy and the girl were sitting.

Spotting the imp as he approaches, Ehos takes up his datapad.

'Is that the offender?' Ehos asks with a twinkle in his eye.

"Yeah," she said, her voice husky from crying. "You're right. Focus on helping the friends who are still here," she said, nodding as she wiped her eyes.

As she looked up she realized that Vai was standing there and so was Arthur asking what was wrong.

"Ummm...hi, Vai, Arthur. Uh...I just found out this morning that two of my friends d-died in the attack on Saturday," she said, her voice breaking. "One of them was Morrivan's cousin, and I was told she was taken to the infirmary yesterday, so I was going to go check on her. But I was also worried about Ginni. Ace and Dave got into an argument this morning, and I don't know what Ace said, but Ginni ran out of here crying. So we're going to go check on Morrivan and then if there's still time, I need to find Ginni and make sure she's okay too."
