Yes, sorry, was going to edit last post, but don't want to cause confusion. They have started walking towards the infirmary.
As they walked, Jeran frowned as he noticed the amount of stares they seemed to be getting.
"Is there something wrong with this girl? Why are so many people staring?"
While walking along, one fellow-- good in sports, not that bright in social skills, gives Jeran a fist pump and says, "Alright Darkclaw! Bagged one!"
With a chuckle and such, he keeps plodding along. He's nearly as tall as he's wide, and at seven feet, that's impressive. Nearly true too, so far as expressions go.
Silinrul
Sil chuckles at Asha getting his name wrong "Its Silinrul. I'm not sure I got your name. And well met Pyry, do you know what those guys were saying? Must have been something awful for your sister to react the way she did. That's why I came over. I remembered her from yesterday and she seemed quite afraid."
Lyn, would I recognize Jeran's name?
Damiani
Meanwhile, out front...
"Alright, folks, put your luggage on this cart over here and it will be sent to your rooms later on. No sense dragging it around all day."
Once all the luggage was sorted out Sorchan pushed the cart inside in front of him, beckoning for the children to follow.
"Follow me to the office where we'll get you all through the enrollment paperwork in time to get you to first period class. Anyone under twelve will be going to the elementary school. We'll have someone come and escort you over there. For the rest of you, in the high school you'll have six class periods every day. You will be required to take PE...it stands for physical education. It's important to keep fit in order to be healthy. You may choose up to five other classes depending on your interests, or you can keep one free period for working on homework or other projects if you like. Please ignore the insanity on the way...you'll have plenty of time to participate in it after this, but paperwork first," he said as he led the group through the hallway towards the office.
The four Firebirds with the rest of the newly arrived others, seem to react in their own way.
Sven Brightedge
Once the group assembles at the school, Sven looks around and says to Lily, "Lady Svarog, at this point, I feel I have accomplished my pledge to see you safely to our destination. If you have any needs in the future, I cordially invite you to seek me out, to discuss."
He gives her a gracious bow and flourish, then parts ways, walking to the forefront, just behind and polite distance from Sorchan, asking the elder Firebird, "Curiously, sir, is this school of your creation-- or the work of surface beings who you have befriended?" He sounds polite when asking and following Sorchan.
Tall Thin Guy
Initially, he was going to walk up front, to stay clear of the 'rabble' with him, but once Sven walks up and assumes the spot near Sorchan, he falls ...apparently, intentionally, on the other side of Sorchan, with that all too familiar sneer of arrogance and anger. Young man needs therapy, most likely.
Ash Haired Guy
Brings up the rear, walks as he did before, methodically, keeping his pace short and sweet, no wasted energy and quiet.
Ulna Terrianos
While having waited on Archena's response, Ulna peers around in awe at her surroundings, and then moved along with the crowd, though she did seem to hesitate and defer to whomever else, if they got too close. She's the wide eyed newbie, that's for sure, though carries herself 'well', in the face of all this new-ness.

Jeran spluttered and blushed. "Th-they think that...but I was just...I wasn't...she's just some girl...I was trying to help," he protested in a strangled voice. He had no idea how to handle this. He'd never been particularly interested in girls and had never bothered with things like dating. It was hard enough trying to give advice to Mithros about stuff he had no clue on. This was even more over his head.
Vickory West
Vickory is the last one to have any clue about the staring, given that if her cloak were more open she would get similar looks probably.
"I have no idea, but I'm new to this realm so..."
Vickory looks puzzled at the boy's comment on having "bagged" one.
Asha Soleil
Sil chuckles at Asha getting his name wrong "Its Silinrul. I'm not sure I got your name. And well met Pyry, do you know what those guys were saying? Must have been something awful for your sister to react the way she did. That's why I came over. I remembered her from yesterday and she seemed quite afraid."
Lyn, would I recognize Jeran's name?
"Oh! Yes, of course. I'm Asha."
Maybe. Jaiye mentioned him once. But it's a long shot that Sil would remember that.
"They were talking bad about a friend of mine, Jeran. Called him a quitter and when I said otherwise they got madder."
She nodded. "They said it in an unpleasant sort of tone. And then they said something about Jeran hanging around with nobodies...I didn't like that."
Damiani
Just as easily as the big guy mentions the bagging, Jeran then gets another passerby, female Elf, stop and look at him in abject shock.
"What are you doing!? She's naked! For the love of ...cover her up, Lycan, good lords!"
Clutching her books against her chest, the Elf turns and leaves in a perpendicular path from Jeran, shaking her head in disgust or similar.
Prude Elves. Go figure.
The infirmary is ahead, another half minute or less.
Tryko'Sam
Running into the Cafeteria, seemingly out of no where, Tryko'Sam scans the room quick and then mutters a few dark things under his breath. He's cussing again.
He pinches the bridge of his nose and pushes the glasses up while doing so, breathing in.
>> So, not here, okay -- means, what? Ran off with the girl? Did he actually do as I asked? Or s!%! --- no. No no no... <<
He breaks into a run and start heading out after a second. Even though he's in the, now, tattered and torn robes, it's obvious it's him. Rich black hair, green eyes, hard to hide his features.

Jeran was blushing bright red now. "Umm...I think they think...but I wasn't...I mean, I wouldn't...I didn't even think about that..."
"We're close to the infirmary now, right?" he asked anxiously.

At this point, the young lady is ...perhaps waking up? Jeran feels her 'shudder', though she isn't talking. Hopefully starting to wake up.
With Vickory on the side of Jeran, following along, the girl is somewhat not in plain view. She might notice her twitch.
Silinrul
Sil ponders a few moments "Jeran, Jeran, Jeran, that name sounds familiar, but I don't remember from where. Excuse me, I'll be right back." He goes over to the guys who are walking away and turns one of them around. "Hey, what's your problem with Asha and Pyry, those so called nobodies?"
Vickory West
"Um, what does she mean by naked? We generally have that term as slang for when a target is lacking any defenses, but I don't think that is what she meant."
Vickory just seems so very puzzled by the whole thing. She does notice that Jeran seems unable to speak about it, so she changes topic.
"So what happened just before coming inside?"
Casseus Rex
Walks by Jeran and the girl.
"Nice!" he says drawn out in that wink wink nudge nudge way, in reference to the girl.
Dunno if he can really be of any help here, but he is a devil after all, and probably knows more about cults than he'd like to...

"It's not like that!" he protested. "She fainted, I'm taking her to the infirmary...I'm not responsible for the state of her clothes. The demons she was running away from ripped up her outfit," he added in that please believe me tone.
"That's what happened outside," he added to Vickory. "She came through a portal. That dark haired guy showed up next. Then they were chased by a couple of demons. I took the girl inside, but the guy got hurt and ported to the infirmary and then the demons got teleported out, probably by the wards, and when I came inside the girl passed out. That's all of what happened."
Phaedra Svarog
Phaedra made sure to keep herself in a part of the group away from Lily. She knew that if she could avoid her sister long enough, Lily would forget to give her a lecture. She'd get distracted by something else to complain about.

Potentially having not noticed the twitch earlier, burly or lean fellow that Jeran is, there's another twitch on his shoulder and the girl seems to now be 'waking up'.
They are right near the Infirmary doorway, and from within there, it does appear to be business as usual.
No staff immediately peering out, however.

Rena, the Companion
During the exchange with the Lycans and the subsequent arrival of Silinrul, Rena herself has wandered off - perhaps distracted by something on the far end of the cafeteria, away from the action (and the mean Lycans).
It is towards a rather Perfect young man that she is drawn. Everything about him screamed beauty and symmetry and perfection. She just wanted to touch him.
---
Fei will see a young winged woman - school aged and dressed in a tight fitting top and a rather short skirt, with her hip-length blue-white hair flowing fully around her in thick locks - approaching him with a joyful smile on her face. It's only by the grace of Fei's ability to read people and his ability to react that tells him that she's going to reach out to touch him, meeting his eyes...
You said you wanted this meeting. ;D

"Hang on," he added, moving the now waking up girl from his shoulder to a bed in the infirmary. "Miss? You awake again? You okay?"

Striding into the infirmary with the girl, who's awake and moving, looking wide eyed around, Jeran puts her atop one of the beds.
One of the nurses waves and walks over, saying, "Oh my... Is everything alright?"
The girl remains quiet and seems to be assessing her situation, not replying to Jeran straight away.

Vickory
Vickory can see the effects of an enchantment spell active on the girl, her whole form, at this point, with her True Seeing. It happened in between their chit chat, and when Jeran moved into the infirmary blocking sight for a moment. Casseus Rex's arrival made you look!
-----
Casseus Rex
The front of the girl is as pleasant, if that's your thing, as the rear, now that she's off Jeran's shoulder. Probably just entering into the age of young adult hood, fourteen or fifteen. She also smells quite clean and innocent, which mingles in with the infirmary stink at this point.

I hope that I do not have cause to call upon you once again in the future. May your Flame burn bright." she replies, almost ritually at the parting, and turns away, back to being haughty and not making eye contact, though she was searching in the small crowd for Phaedra, she couldn't manage to spot her.

There's the oddest, well contained, consideration of her words-- he's clearly analyzing them, and a haughty smirk, before he does as indicated prior.
Tryko'Sam
Popping out in the hallway, just outside the Infirmary, Tryko'Sam curses again, quietly under his breath.
Getting back to it, was a ton faster than he feared it might have been, and thankfully-- he didn't have to socialize back in the Cafeteria, even though he wanted too.
>> Back again, g'damn it... gonna have to make a camp in this place, I'm sure. <<
He starts to stride into the Infirmary door, looking around and spotting Jeran past -- a red skinned guy, and Vickory, who he recognizes.
He stands at the door for a moment and considers his options, while the young girl seems to turn her attention on him, and stare.

The sun rose over the town of Kuros, but this was a somber morning. The events of the previous day still weigh heavy on the inhabitants.
Sitting in an alley a little girl sits on the ground. Knees pulled up to her chest with a teddy bear in between. She stares off into space; Like in a trance.
--- Flashback to the previous night’s events ---
Many of the dead have been laid out in preparation for mass burials. Family that has survived, walk among the corpses, looking to identify family members.
Among those that walk among the dead is a little girl. Dressed in what was once a white dress and white ribbons. Her dress now dirty and torn, the ribbons no longer tied up nice. Her face marked with black soot from the fires. She carries a ragged teddy bear, its fur singed and missing an eye.
Mommy? she cries out. A tear runs down her cheek, cleaning the soot marks as it falls. mommy? she calls again. She stops by the body of a woman, consumed by the disease that has infected the town.
Kneeling down she looks at the body Mommy? Wake up Mommy she says shaking the body. But he mommy does not wake up. The girl starts to cry, laying her head on the chest of her mother’s corpse.
As she kneels there, her tears flowing, a glow suddenly surrounds the two. A glowing face of the girl’s mother is within the light. But the little girl does not see it, her face buried in her mother’s chest.
The light circles around her; Taking the form of the girl’s mother, kneeling behind her comforting her crying daughter.
Then suddenly the light grows in intensity. As the spirit enters the little girl, A in a wave of light bursts from the little girl; those that were not dead yet are healed, All signs of infection are removed.
As the light fades drawing itself back into the little girl, still lying over the corpse of her mother, the area surrounding the little girl feels cleansed, disease free.
The little girl has stopped crying. Ok mommy she whispers and she gets up and walks away; disappearing down an alleyway.
--- end flashback---
Snapping out of her trance by the sound of a dog barking, the little girl gets up and wanders down the empty street.

"She is strong. That's why she's as okay as she is, why she keeps working on moving past the past. But you have to know that she's not going to just get over it. What happened to her was so traumatic that it isn't that easily left behind. She's getting better, little by little. But some things are more difficult than others. She doesn't talk about it exactly, but seeing the fear on her face when..." she stopped, remembering the disastrous kiss between her and Vai. She turned away and put the rest of the swords into the rack. "It's hard to see."
She turned back to face Elsa. "Like I said, she's someone important to me. So I have a hard time accepting anyone who's hurt her."
Elsa's head remains bowed, and Sadie can see her eyes glassing, threatening tears, her expression pained and drawn, long years of guilt pulled to the fore.
"I understand." she manages to reply, though it comes out as a harsh whisper - at least, as harsh sound as the delicate looking elf looks like she could make. She doesn't pause to compose herself, her voice coming out pained. "Thank you then, for being there for her. I'm glad she has people she can count on, like you. Excuse me."
Unless stopped, Elsa Emkar will turn and leave the room, shutting the door softly behind her.

The giggling guy suddenly stopped at the mention of Jaiye. He looked at the other one and they both looked back at Sil, wide-eyed.
"Uh...we didn't mean anything by it. We'll just be going now," the surly one said rapidly as the two both suddenly decided that they were better off being somewhere else in a hurry.

Ori jumped up, opening the door quickly. She had clearly done something to her usually loose robes designed to hide every inch of skin possible. She had cut them and belted them so that they had instead become a figure flattering dress. Except that all the cut ends were ragged. She was a wizard not a seamstress.
"Good morning."
Tyrrin is forced to hide a smirk as the good Professor opens the door, noting both Salis' presence and the new stylings of Professor Reading's robes, not immediately sure which one of the Professor's rooms she had come to.
The smirk does creep a little onto her face, but it's not mocking, but she's a little amused, that's pretty obvious. "Good morning, Professors. How are you feeling today, Professor Reading?"

"Okay, Vai. Thanks for offering. Hey, if you see Ginni, tell her that I'm looking for her. I want to make sure she's okay too."
Mission accomplished, at least for now. is Vai's thought at her sister's crinkled nose/
"Okay, will do. But now... I think I need breakfast. Didn't finish lunch yesterday. I could eat a horse." the exaggerative saying takes a slightly disturbing turn with Vai... as she likely could literally eat a horse.
::Yeah... it's hard. It was alot harder yesterday though. I got some really good advice last night, and the Dawn... every day is a new day. I have to try and live for right now, whatever that might mean.:: Is what she says, but that guilt is lingering slightly still there, Vai apparently unable to fully quash it.

After Elsa left, Sadie swore and punched a wall. She felt like a horrible person, but what was she supposed to do? There wasn't exactly a manual for how to handle conversations with the birth mother of a girl you went out with once and are still totally hung up on who happened to have handed that same girl over to a monster some time before this. Not exactly a social situation that came up often enough for there to be protocol.

A little human girl in a well worn dress runs after the dog.
At her commands, the dog backs off, but in her running, the little girl's worn out shoes slip on the wet cobblestone streets, and she falls, banging knees and elbows with a shrill yell.
The dog thing runs back to her, trying to help, the girl stays on the ground, crying and clutching her scraped knee.

Walking into the room, eyeing the girl, who's giving Tryko'Sam the evil eye, Tryko'Sam says, "So... uh, quite the party here. What's going on? She get hurt?"
He clearly didn't quite hear Jeran's comment, upon entering.
-----
The young girl stands up suddenly on her feet, and says, "You have violated me and taken me from my home!" She's speaking Common, in the voice she had earlier, and Jeran's certain that's not the same person in the body now. No doubt.
Still looking at Tryko'Sam, she adds, pointing a finger, "You will pay for your acts, dolt! Your soul will be torn from your body and rended, bit by bit, I swear by our dread lords, your existence will be short lived!"
At this point, she's fast, but no where near as fast as anyone in the room, doing arcane magic weaving-- Conjuration for those that know the stuff.
People can take a quick action, but she's clearly casting a spell, and most likely will complete it /really/ damn fast.
Tryko'Sam adds, "What the hell is she doing? What happened?" Hearing what Vickory says, he quickly says, "Someone stop her!"

The nurse merely looks on at the group of three males, Vickory with her snake half, and the girl, puzzled.
