Kevin notices Vickory looking at him and gives a smile and a nod.
He then notices Ehos getting his attention.
"Oh. Hey...."
He looks at Ehos other hand and the tray hanging off.
"Sovereign Glue?" He asks simply.

David.De'Foul |

"If you don't care who wins, drop the field, those things give me a headache" he then manifests energy retort (electricity)
"And in the future, don't go insulting me and my friends, acting like a crazy person, I can be reasonable, go up and say "hay Dave, I'm feeling bummed out, could we go a few rounds, wailing on each other, it'd make me feel better" and I'd say "sure" because I'm a reasonable person, though afterwards I'm going to insist you see the school shrink"

Janie |

Janie wrote:
"Whoa! Talk about impressive! That's quite the intimidating look there, Gavin," she said, admiring his display of ability."Thanks! I can adjust it a bit..." his armor shrinks in size to normal, medium sized, his sword changing to a bastard sword...then the armor shrinks to skin tight, and the bastard sword changes into 2 short swords. "...so I can be useful in a variety of ways. I can even..." His armor swells back up to medium, and grows another pair of arms, now all four arms have a shortsword in them. "...grow another pair of arms. I'm not very good with them, but if I ever need to fight while reading a book...I'll be good to go!" He dismisses the armor and sits back down...looking a wee bit tired...but it fades quickly.
"I'm still trying to figure out what all I can do with it. Pretty much, if something cool occurs to me I'll try it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Same with the swords."
"Wow, that's totally awesome! And I bet you can get better with the extra set of arms if you practice with them more. I mean, forget fighting...think of all the times in life when you wished you had just one more hand," she said, grinning.

Ginni |

Repp waves a hand dismissively, that smile still wide on his face. "Don't worry about me too much. I have my own defenses." he glances towards the quiet lakeside. He turns his gaze back to her after a moment, getting serious, the smile disappearing from his sheet white face. "Ginni, you can't be afraid of your own abilities. You have to master them, and you if you still can't, you have to tear those abilities away and cast them aside. Having complete control of yourself is very important. And that means not being afraid of yourself."
"You can't cast aside abilities you're born with. I mean, trust me, there are plenty of people here who would if they could. Some abilities shouldn't be used. That doesn't mean I never use my abilities, but only in emergencies and, unless it's an accident, I always make sure that the person knows about the possible side effects first. It's important to keep to a strict set of ethics when using powers that influence the minds and perceptions of others," she said, sounding like she was reciting part of a lesson at the end, probably something that was often repeated during enchantment classes.

"Thanks! Oh, yeah you're right! I'll have to work on that, too. That could be handy...uhh no pun intended."

Sorchan del Sol |

Her decision made, she approaches Sorchan and the rabble around him, years of ettiquette and manners coming to the fore as she addressed Sorchan himself. Being an heir to the del Sols, he deserved her public respect.
With an appropriately deep curtsy, Lily speaks. "Honourable Sorchan del Sol, I will graciously accept your offer. You are most kind to offer hospitality during these troubled days." she's a practiced orator, and her voice carries over the din of the crowd.
Sorchan's lips twitched with a swiftly suppressed smile, but to his credit he did not actually laugh.
"You are most welcome and I hope that you enjoy your stay at Avalon. Please get your things quickly. We want to get all of those who are enrolling through the process as quickly as possible so you can all join your classes this morning," he said, as seriously as he could manage. He knew how sensitive teenagers were to any hint of mockery.

Asha Soleil |

Rena had stood a bit back from the vibrating boy, not exactly sure what he was trying to do and growing increasingly worried when he looked hurt and then vanished."I... I think he might just have been taken to the infirmary. We should go check on him?" Rena had suggested just before Pyry emerged.
She perked up slightly upon being introduced, however stiffly and grinned. "Oh wow, you are cute." she says sincerely. She's weraing a pretty short skirt and the top she's wearing is pretty tight as well, though it covers completely with no cleavage showing. Her hip-length long blue hair is flowing freely. Her smile is absolutely radiant. "Nice to meet you." she says, trying to be cheerful though she was still a bit shaken by the vibrating boy.
Of course, in her own particular idiom, she greets this new person by moving in a kissing him lightly on the lips. She's not exactly /hot/ in body, though she's not cold either. Maybe her body heat is really well insulated. "Oh wow... you are cold. I didn't hurt you did I?"
"We should go check on that boy, since he was nice enough to help us." Rena adds, not embarrassed in the slightest at her greeting method.
"Right! The infirmary. Of course. That makes sense! We should definitely go check on him and make sure he's okay. And thank him for helping," Asha said with a cheerful smile.
"And after that, Pyry would you like to go eat breakfast on the roof with us? Rena has a friend who lives on the roof and it's hard for him to come inside so we were gonna take breakfast to him and I thought you might prefer to eat up there since it's quieter and there are less people."
Raelle del Sol |

"I don't mean to dismiss how you feel. It was a bad thing that happened to all of us.... Ya. That was Friday. Oh! You were there after. Sorry. I forgot that. It's just kinda hard to get over being melted, I guess. Ginni is a nice girl, and she helped Mel out. I think she deserves a lot better than him. He really is a class A jerk, weird head villain or not. We were having a nice breakfast until he comes in and starts picking on me and Dave. Then Dave get protective of me and gets pulled into that. He's just. Ugh! Have you ever smelled him? He literally smells conceited! I don't even know how you can do that!"
Apparently if Raelle is venting, Tybs is too.
He takes an angry bite from a cinnamon roll.
"You do dismiss how I feel when you tell me that I shouldn't feel that way or I should get over it. I feel how I feel whether he did it intentionally or not. I know he didn't. Ace wasn't in control of himself either when he attacked you. It wasn't any more his fault than it was Dave's for what he did. But that doesn't mean that I expect you to be friends with him. I don't expect you to get over being melted. It was awful and you feel how you feel about it, and those are perfectly natural feelings to have. I certainly don't think less of you for disliking him. Ace can be nice sometimes, but, yeah, he can also be a huge jerk. And if he doesn't make things right with Ginni...which is going to take some serious work...well, anyways, he's not really in my good graces either at the moment. I don't like it when people hurt my friends. And as for Dave..." She rolled her eyes. "His life would be so much easier if he would just get over his own ego for like five minutes."

Janie |

Janie wrote:"Wow, that's totally awesome! And I bet you can get better with the extra set of arms if you practice with them more. Janie laughed again. "I have to hand it to you, you're pretty funny," she said with a wink.
"I'd show you what I can do, but I promised, no more funnel clouds in the cafeteria," she joked.

Nanami Tanaka |

As they step out of the SIM into the lobby area, the pretty tiefling who greeted them before is frowning as she pores over what appears to be a handbook.
"Sumimasen," she said, bowing again, "But I have a question, sensei. I do not think you are supposed to give detention for that? They were not breaking any rules I could find. I agree that a referral to the school psychologist may be required, but as far as I can tell, they successfully conveyed their feelings without breaking any guidelines, ne? Did I miss something?"

Tybalt Baneko |

"That wasn't my intention. It sounds like everything is just a big ball of double standards for both of us right now... Everything is just so complicated..."
He pulls his knees into his chest and rests his head on them, hugging them close to him with his arms.

"Well, how about we uncomplicate it. Ace and Dave are never gonna get along. I can't be friends with Dave. That doesn't mean I'm badmouthing him or anything. I just can't be friends with him. You can't be friends with Ace. So most of the time, we hang out in separate groups. But that doesn't mean we have to be enemies. That sound okay?"

"Just bitty ones. A proper sized one takes hours to stir up. Great if you know trouble is coming and have time to prepare, but not so useful in a pinch."

Arthur Barren wrote:"Prior to you remind me of this, I figured the odds were pretty even one way or another, now it's probably the prank option, and he calls me for help, phooie, you got any hocus pocus that might help?""None, sorry. I can't use magic, and my bending won't be of much use in this regard." he says with a small shrug.
"Raelle might be able to help though, but she is still learning so I'm not so sure. You ready?" Ardiente says, patiently waiting with his hands clasped behind his back in a very soldier-like stance.
"well how about we head on down there, see who's available, and go from there"
i do actually have a combat type ability that could help, when I use a melee attack on any creature under a polymorph effect get have to make a will save, or revert to their natural form, I was thinking of also giving this feat to Dave, anyway not important here, in this instance, I'm just going to shoot them into you... Which will likely be painful, moreso if you resist

"Ha! Define 'bitty'. I'm sure it'd still hurt a bit. Anyway that's really cool. So are witches like druids, here, then?"
I'm sure she can tell by now, in spite of what's happened to him, he's a hopeless optimist. And quite a bit naive.

Asha Soleil |

"Huh..? Oh!" He realizes he's being talked to again and he blushes hard. "Y-Yeah, I'll go eat on the roof. Maybe we could do some flying too..."
"That would be great," she said enthusiastically. "Maybe you can teach me how to land. I went flying for the first time yesterday and it was amazing, but landing is hard."

Florence Levitt |

Mel can see Vai recoil ever so slightly as it looked like Mel was coming in for a hug, her blue-scaled wings moving almost instinctively to shield her from the contact. She smiles gratefully though when Mel stops. "Why don't you come and have breakfast with Fei and I? I was going to tell him about it then too."Then Florence starts to walk away and Mel breaks off to stop her. It is during that time that Vai's stomach finally let's it be known that she sick of waiting and must be fed NOW - a small rumble emanates from the Dragon girl's belly. Not quite Fei-tremors, but still audible.
"Heh, come on. Let's all go get breakfast!" she says happily, flapping her wings to catch up with the group.
"Gladly."

Janie |

"Ha! Define 'bitty'. I'm sure it'd still hurt a bit. Anyway that's really cool. So are witches like druids, here, then?"
"I'm pretty sure the depends on the witch. I don't know exactly what I am really. We call people like me weather witches at home, but the other people I've met here who call themselves witches have very different abilities from me."

"You can jump, right? Flying is just a really long jump that can get crazy."

Tybalt Baneko |

"Ya. That's fine..."
He trails off, not moving from his curled up ball.

Melody Waverider |

Mel smiles at the offer, she really wasn't very hungry, but being with people is what she enjoyed, especially people she considered friends.
Hey Vai, Florence here can run, like super fast, and I mean /SUPER/ fast. And, well since you guys either fly or zap places, and all I do is walk, I guess I will need Florence to carry me, or something like that.
Mel looks to Florence as she says this, kind of asking if that is alright.

Raelle del Sol |

"Ya. That's fine..."
He trails off, not moving from his curled up ball.
"So what else is upsetting you so much? I mean, you're not exactly acting like you're okay."

Nurse Julie |

Nurse Julie wrote:she pauses a moment. maybe you would like some tea? and I have some biscuits with jam over here too. would you like some? Nurse Julie gets the small tray she intended for herself and brings it over to her new "patient"
The girl nods and speaks softly..
"I would like that, yes."
nurse Julie places the tray in front of her. I never did get your name.

"Like called witches in a bad way, or are your abilities respected by your people? Where I come from, a witch isn't a good thing, but I've already figured out you're not one of those witches."

Janie |

"Like called witches in a bad way, or are your abilities respected by your people? Where I come from, a witch isn't a good thing, but I've already figured out you're not one of those witches."
Janie snorted. "If you lived around people who could summon hailstorms and tornadoes, how do you think you'd treat them? Definitely with respect...but it's not a lot of fun when everybody treats you with respect all the time. So it's nice to be here where I'm just another weird kid, and not really all that powerful at that."

Tybalt Baneko |

"It's nothing you need to worry about. I'm just thinking about stuff..."

Ehos Denulia |

Kevin notices Vickory looking at him and gives a smile and a nod.
He then notices Ehos getting his attention.
"Oh. Hey...."
He looks at Ehos other hand and the tray hanging off.
"Sovereign Glue?" He asks simply.
'I think so.' he replies, giving the tray a little shake to show that it was well stuck.
'I'm Ehos by the way. I don't think we've met before.' he adds, closing the distance to sit across from the goo dragon, datapad help up nicely so it's easy to read.

Repp, the Bleached |

"You can't cast aside abilities you're born with. I mean, trust me, there are plenty of people here who would if they could. Some abilities shouldn't be used. That doesn't mean I never use my abilities, but only in emergencies and, unless it's an accident, I always make sure that the person knows about the possible side effects first. It's important to keep to a strict set of ethics when using powers that influence the minds and perceptions of others," she said, sounding like she was reciting part of a lesson at the end, probably something that was often repeated during enchantment classes.
"I agree, the mind is a sacred thing, not to be toyed with." Repp replied sagely, nodding and smiling. He was glad he had been able to distract her from her trouble with what was becoming an academic discussion. "And I understand what you are saying with abilities you cannot cast aside, but Ginni... if your abilities are in your Mind... you can have complete control of them, but first you have to learn to embrace them whole-heartedly. Maybe that is what is holding you back in learning to control them."

Ardiente |

"well how about we head on down there, see who's available, and go from there"
"Alright, that sounds good." Ardiente replies, relaxing his soldiery demeanor slightly as the pair exit the room and head for the cafeteria.
Ardiente himself is relatively quiet and thoughtful as they walk down the hallways and stairs to the cafeteria. "Hey.. would you mind not mentioning the fact that Raelle stayed in my room last night to anyone? I just don't want people to get the wrong idea about her."

Kevin Ramos |

"Here, lemme see."
He gently pulls the tray over, not hurting Ehos.
"Color..."
*sniff*
"Yep. That's the stuff."
He looks around in his coat.
"this would be easier if they weren't all the same shape..."
Not satisfied with what he finds there, he stops for a moment and a few shapes work their way up his throat, and he pulls a couple bottles out of his mouth, clean.
"Sorry. That must look pretty freaky."
He says as he sorts through the bottles.
"Ah. Here we go. It was labeled true strike for some reason."
He pulls the top and places it on the table for Ehos to apply with his free hand as he sees fit.
"I've never understood why we call it Universal solvent if it only works on glue..."
He trails off, thinking.
"Oh. Sorry. I'm Kevin. Kevin Ramos."

"I guess, I don't really see what the big deal is, find what makes you happy and own it, metaphorically in this instance, and don't be ashamed of it, that's how I do things, but then I won't force you into a situation you don't want,"
once they arrive at the cafeteria he gets on the radio
he gets on the radio "hey I'm at the cafeteria, which bathroom you at"

Damiani |

Sorchan's lips twitched with a swiftly suppressed smile, but to his credit he did not actually laugh.
"You are most welcome and I hope that you enjoy your stay at Avalon. Please get your things quickly. We want to get all of those who are enrolling through the process as quickly as possible so you can all join your classes this morning," he said, as seriously as he could manage. He knew how sensitive teenagers were to any hint of mockery.
Sorchan would soon be aware of some other Firebird youths, by the looks of it, that have wandered over, two boys and a girl, with bags and such, looking as if they too, were taking him up on his offer.
From a quick glance at who they were, based on clothing, the girl was probably of some non-Council noble house, though unmarked as such, while the two males were anyone's guess.
Their age varied from early teen through near adult, that much was clear.
The girl stood about 5'8", having auburn/red hair, which was cut short. She wore a dress, that seemed atop some undergarment of leather (most likely she had two outfits on to make the trip in). Her eyes were of a hazel, leaning on yellow/light brown color, and a few freckles here and there.
The one boy, younger, stood out with his ash colored hair, clearly marking him as 'unpure', while a hint more pale than normal, he was shorter than average, 5'6", yet stocky and wide. He was dressed in common clothing that suggested labour, given the slight tears and such that he did not appear concerned enough to fix.
The other boy, tall and lean, was 6'. Completely traditional in appearance and such, with various bags. He had a sword at one hip, a dagger near it, and was dressed in refined noble garb that doubled as armor. His hair blonde, with slight streaks of red, and blue eyes hinting at green. His lips appeared to be in a semi-permanent sneer state.
The young boy did look at anyone else gathered, especially Serrin after her 'batty' incident, but seems rather stoic and showed no emotion towards it.
The other two didn't stand near one another, but kept their focus on Sorchan, silence and proximity indicating they were here to go with him on the skimmer.
At one point, the girl looks back, not towards anyone specifically, and forward again, resolve on her face.

Damiani |

"Well.." he says looking the kids who were watching the duel "..some more than others, it seems."
Given the 'end results' of the display of the duel, and then the monologue by Professor Royston, various hyped up viewers moan and groan at the 'lecture', murmuring various rude comments and other teenage angst related feedback on the turn of events.
Sure, the fight was going slow for some, but it had only just started and some sides had formed up-- the sharks had been circling and this was a serious let down for those.
Needless to say, a few hecklers start arguing with one another, desiring the outcome to have gone their way, a light bit of rough housing, though nothing detention inducing or infirmary visiting making.
Mixed bag of reactions, but all appropriate for a morning crowd of near adults in this special school, reaction wise.
"... total blue ball, sheesh! Who is that guy? What a freak."
"I want my money back, that teacher sucks."
"... magnificent, did you see that move? I want him to show me how he did that, *sigh*"
Etc. Etc.
The cafeteria slowly reverts to the way it normally is, now that it's less about the duel, and more about 'two guys bro-mancing' or getting their therapy session going, as it were.
Some people still transfixed, however, watching combat. There's always people who like that stuff.

Zuki Barang |

A dirty looking teen with long black hair and the beginnings of a wispy moustache walks into the cafeteria, and gets some food.
He finds an empty spot in the room and stomps his foot, and a small table and stool rise up from the floor. He sits down and quietly thanks the spirits for his food, and then begins to devour it with no manners.

Damiani |

Just a reminder for Dami, or the others, at the skimmer, its grown somewhat darker around it. Not like super dark or anything, but dimmer for sure.
EDITED: My three NPCs have reacted to you in their way, per my post. Only the 'young guy', however, actually looked your way. The other two are focusing their gaze on Sorchan, primarily.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

Mel bows (a bit awkwardly) to Fei I'm sorry for taking Vai from you for so long
"There is nothing to apologize for, Melody," Fei replies with a reassuring smile, turning briefly to face the others before resuming their progression to the Cafeteria patio. "The dawn shines on us all, as it should." (^-^)

Raelle del Sol |

"It's nothing you need to worry about. I'm just thinking about stuff..."
"Oh. Okay. Well....then I guess I'll just go. I should go check on Ginni...or Morrivan. Aimee said she went to the infirmary last night. So umm....later then," she said, awkwardly. Figuring out how to talk to Tybalt was difficult. Even if they had called a truce, it's not like they were friends or anything.

Ginni |

"I agree, the mind is a sacred thing, not to be toyed with." Repp replied sagely, nodding and smiling. He was glad he had been able to distract her from her trouble with what was becoming an academic discussion. "And I understand what you are saying with abilities you cannot cast aside, but Ginni... if your abilities are in your Mind... you can have complete control of them, but first you have to learn to embrace them whole-heartedly. Maybe that is what is holding you back in learning to control them."
"But they're evil! And I've spent my whole life trying to prove that I'm not evil! How could embracing something that's evil possibly be a good thing?"
