Hestia Svarog |

Cindra listens quietly for the most part, but after this comment from Lucas she mutters very quietly to herself, and her tone is dripping bitter, "At least her abilities have a potential use." Too quietly for any save Solus or Hestia, who are right next to her, or someone with exceptional hearing to notice.
"I don't even know what mine is, sis, or if i even have one. Besides, we're going to a school. We can learn new things there, not having to rely on what we were born with."

Damiani |

"Sweet. We can play some of those, and I can teach you how to dance."
She flashes a smile.
"What's 'electric' dance?"
She asks her female friend.
Ulna Terrianos
Presuming that Archena meant herself, Ulna describes the Electronic Dance music, giving it the appropriate name and such, 'Trance' along with a quasi-emotional and metaphysical description of it's properties, which seem to range from deep and thoughtful and 'trance inducing' along with soul stirring and emotional, depending... seems to have a wide range of effect, but then again, it's music and typically that is very personalized.
"... so, that's it in a nutshell. You either hate it, or love it, as they say."
She does seem excited by the conversation, or sharing of what seemingly is important and personal to her.
"I haven't created any of it myself, I'm not a musician, though I managed to meet a few of the people that produce it. It'll be a while before I see them again, I imagine."
She frowns for a moment and peers off out the window fiddling with a necklace item, before looking back.
"Does anyone know anything about this 'school' they can share? I've heard ...interesting stories."

The skimmer pulled to a stop outside of the front door of Avalon.
"How about instead of asking questions about the school you all get out and find out for yourselves. Because we're here," he said, smiling.

The skimmer pulled to a stop outside of the front door of Avalon.
"How about instead of asking questions about the school you all get out and find out for yourselves. Because we're here," he said, smiling.
Tall, Thin Fellow
"Praise the Flame," uttered loudly, the youth hastily rushes past everyone to get out of the skimmer as quickly as possible. Lacking any luggage, this is pretty easily accomplished-- plus, no one else ran into him on the way out, his goal is achieved.
He seemed to give a grunt of thanks, or something, to Sorchan, as a polite show of respect to an elder, then stood off to the side, looking at Avalon's structure from where they parked.
Ulna Terrianos
Ulna nodded in response to Sorchan, looked out the window, wide eyed, then back, gathering up her minor items (purse thing) and seemed to wait, having a window seat, though rises up, preparing to leave the skimmer.
Ash Haired Guy
Sits, still stoic, not moving yet. Clearly not in any rush, or quick to animate.
Sven Brightedge
Sven rises up, looking around to ensure there is space for Lily to exit, and waits to escort her out.

Asha Soleil |

As they arrived at the cafeteria, Asha nearly tripped over two tiny charcoal colored creatures liberating a bag of coffee beans at speed while giggling maniacally.
"That was weird."

Vai Sunwake |

"Ummm...hi, Vai, Arthur. Uh...I just found out this morning that two of my friends d-died in the attack on Saturday," she said, her voice breaking. "One of them was Morrivan's cousin, and I was told she was taken to the infirmary yesterday, so I was going to go check on her. But I was also worried about Ginni. Ace and Dave got into an...
Vai felt a familiar pang of guilt, the thought that this was her that did this crept back into her mind, even though she knew it wasn't really her. Vai's heart aches slightly for her sister though, and she joins in Ardiente's embrace momentarily. Raelle might not trigger her neuroses, but Ardiente still did, cousin or not. Plus... he was practically burning hot to the touch. "I'm so sorry Raelle." Vai says quietly, leaving a hand lingering on her sister's back, trying to be comforting.
::I might be here, I might not. Depends if Raelle needs me, she just found out that some of her friends didn't come back after the attack.:: Phaezeriel's familiarity with Vai enables him to pick up the slightest trace of lingering guilt in her telepathic response.

Repp, the Bleached |

"Yes, alright. I am hungry. But I don't think that I can face the cafeteria again this morning. Could you bring me a cinnamon roll please?" she asked with the slightest hint of a smile, finally starting to relax.
"Of course I can, not a problem." he replies with a genuine smile, his intensity from a few moments earlier seeming to fade away. "I'll be back shortly then."
With that, Repp seems to focus for a moment, and then he's transported into the hallway just outside the cafeteria, just in time to see the two Aschen scampering way with their pilfered loot.
He steps inside, sliding past a pair of beauties near the door and making directly for the food line, moving with determination before coming to a halt as he enters the queue.

Raelle del Sol |

Raelle nodded, unable to speak for a moment. "Thank you," she eventually said, softly.
"I shouldn't keep you from your breakfast," she said, with obviously false cheer as she was desperately trying to put a brave face on. "Ardiente, you too...you should eat. I know you're willing to go with me to be moral support, but you need to eat. I can go check on Morrivan on my own."

GM Fireclaw |

"You're welcome for dealing with the monsters, Mrs. Emkar, but I didn't do it for your sakes. I did it for Vai. She's someone important to me so when she asked for my help I gave it. Not the best choice for my personal life," she added with a sigh, "but I did what I felt I needed to. So if there's anyone you should be thanking it's Vai. She came back to rescue you in spite of what happened to her. You know she has panic attacks if anyone other than her family touches her, right? That's how bad it is."
"But she... she seemed so strong yesterday." Elsa replies in a small voice, her head ducking at the stinging words from the younger woman.

Rena, the Companion |

"Um, well.. N-No, not really. I've got this necklace thing so you feel nice." He says, trying to pick his words carefully since he wasn't sure what to say.
"Oh, good." Rena replies cheerfully, not ceasing in her soft stroking, at least until she's forced to quickly move to the side to avoid tripping over the very same pair of creatures Asha had just commented on.
Were those... no.. couldn't be... "Huh... I hope that those weren't Aschen. Nasty little things." she says, making a bit of a face.

Ehos Denulia |

"Perhaps you are right," she said, poking her breakfast with her fork, "I am sorry for being hostile Elf."
'That's alright. We all have our hangups.' Ehos replies genially. 'My name is Ehos, by the way. Pleased to meet both of you two.'

What happened to her was so traumatic that it isn't that easily left behind. She's getting better, little by little. But some things are more difficult than others. She doesn't talk about it exactly, but seeing the fear on her face when..." she stopped, remembering the disastrous kiss between her and Vai. She turned away and put the rest of the swords into the rack. "It's hard to see."
She turned back to face Elsa. "Like I said, she's someone important to me. So I have a hard time accepting anyone who's hurt her."

Phaedra Svarog |

Phaedra handed her too heavy suitcase to Alev to carry before scampering off the bus. She didn't want tot wait to get a scolding from Lily for kicking her seat back all the way here.

Nala Zamarosok |

Nala arrived at the isolab food tray in hand. She entered cautiously, not sure which version of the girl she was going to be facing.
"Good morning, Miss Mar'Niell."

Ori was watching Salis prepare his lessons for the day with a certain amount of envy. Just a few days off of teaching and she was already bored out of her mind and desperate for something to do. Grading papers seemed almost fun in contrast to this. Almost.

Ori jumped up, opening the door quickly. She had clearly done something to her usually loose robes designed to hide every inch of skin possible. Ulna Terrianos
Clearly not the sort that's in any sort of a rush, Ulna does, however, seem to take things at a slower pace.
She eventually steps out of the skimmer and onto the grounds before the building, looking around, giving the skimmer another glance too-- strange craft that it is.
"Well, I'm certainly not ...expecting too much, Kay, but, perhaps. It would require some imagination or what not, plus magics." Her response to the music statement earlier on.
It would be apparent that she seems to keep just out of arms reach of anyone else, standing attentively while waiting on Sorchan to proceed, as the eldest one present.
A few stolen glances at whomever else walks out are taken, but all in all, this teen is unremarkable in appearance or manner.

"Good morning."
Salis was still getting used to company for years he had spent time in a silent monastery. Although their was others barely a word was spoken out side of lessons to the brethren. All he had was his books to accompany him. Even during his times of adventuring much of his group would rush off to do there own thing and leave him to his writings. He never learned to entertain guests or carry on conversation. He however had been enjoying her being there with him even if a word wasn't spoken her very presence calmed something that had been struggling to be free.
Salis bare flinched at the rapping instead he slowly closed his book he had sitting beside his papers and stood up. He looked to Ori as he adjusted her cloths and was moving to the door. He gave her a smile and walked up to the door with her.

Lily Svarog |

Lily had given her brother a level-headed look when he had moved to calm her down, taking the hint that she was projecting her annoying outwardly, a most unbecoming feature. She had waved Sven off and taken a moment to compose herself - a task not easily done due to Phaedra's bratty kicking.
When they came to a stop and the del Sol announced that they had arrived, Lily had remained seated for several long moments, going over her quiet lecture for Phaedra in her head. That girl really needed to learn manners. Impishness was not an endearing quality.
"Sven, will you see to the baggage?" Lily said, just loudly enough to be heard over the din of disembarking Firebirds.

Sven Brightedge
"There are porters appointed for that task, Lady Svarog. Though, I'm certain one of your younger siblings would, due to honor, rise up to assist you as needed, thus allowing me to accomplish my pledge still. Shall we disembark?" He is very cordial, and doesn't display any reaction to inquiry on luggage handling. The threesome had done that without effort, a testament to their station, or generosity.
He stands waiting for her to rise, though doesn't exactly offer a hand straight away, unless it is clear her rump fell asleep or she needs assistance.
Otherwise, he does appear pensive or alert.

"I've skipped meals before, I can do it now too. Wouldn't even bother me." Ardiente returns softly, though his voice lacks that private tenderness now that they were others around them. He was giving Raelle a chance to accept his support if she wanted it, but if not he wouldn't push it. She could stand on her own just fine.

Raelle del Sol |

"Alright, 'Elle" Vai adds, trying to tease slightly, maybe distract her from her pain for a moment. "If you need me at all, come find me alright? Even if I'm in class. Okay?"
Raelle wrinkled her nose at the nickname. It wasn't like her name was long. She just didn't understand this incessant need to shorten it.
"Okay, Vai. Thanks for offering. Hey, if you see Ginni, tell her that I'm looking for her. I want to make sure she's okay too."

Lim-Môr gives a friendly wave back.
He smiles and keeps eye contact until she decides to look away, not overtly waving them over, but also not doing anything that would say to not approach.
Very neutral.

Tybalt suddenly notices that he has been stroking Dave's wing.
He pulls back his paws quickly as his face becomes a cute blue shade.
"Sorry," he says quietly, looking down at the table.

"... oh, I am ~so~ /dog/ tired.. ha."
and
"... yah, seriously, these courses are working me to the ~bone~."
Clearly in a cruel, teenager way to poke at Jeran's plight of weariness.
Jeran gritted his teeth, not responding to the taunts, but once again his food tray had finger dents in the side from gripping it too hard. He kept getting scolded for that when the cafeteria workers saw his trays.

From where Jeran is seated, however, a good view out of the window exists, allowing him to spot something that appears ...most odd.
In his field of vision, someone appears to stumble out of no where, dressed in what appears to be a thin, white with lots of blood red, chaotically painted here and there, colors, 'dress' or robes. A blonde, long haired, looking female, perhaps late teens, early twenties.
She literally falls to her knees, crumples, having zero martial skills, and looks back behind her from where she seemingly just fell out of the sky.
Raising an arm to cover her face, it's clear she's terrified or what not, of where she's looking behind her-- classic girl being chased by something, horrific mode.
There's a bench nearby too.

Jeran Darkclaw |

Jeran jumps to his feet, breakfast abandoned and heads outside through one of the many doors leading out to the terrace and runs towards the girl who fell. She couldn't be that badly hurt. The wards would have grabbed her if she was. But...well...he realized halfway there that he might be being an idiot. He hadn't even thought things through first. Well, better to be an idiot than fail to act.
"Miss? Are you injured?" he asks, kneeling next to the girl and looking around to see if what she was running from was anywhere in sight.

Thankfully, as soon as he's in motion, the murmurs and what not cease, the jerks are scared enough not to talk trash if noticed that easily.
On his approach, the rich smell of blood, is fading, fast, as are the red color patterns on her, rather thin-ish, cotton, outfit, which seems ripped in some places.
The teen looks up, as she was trying to get up, bewildered, out of breath, yet, oddly unsoiled, for the most part. She's clearly not bleeding, so the blood came from somewhere or someone else.
She gives Jeran a deer in headlights look, and stammers something in a tongue that doesn't make sense-- she's a foreigner. Smells of rose petals and other flowers that denote 'purity' and innocence too.
Pointing behind him, then to herself, her tale is largely unclear, but seems she indicates, for the most part, that from behind him, to here, and, the clothing ripping. She obviously understands him.
She still seems 'freaked' out, breathing fast, eyes wide, and heart pumping. She waits for Jeran to act.
A cursory glance over her, and within that round of his arrival, he can see she's now devoid of the blood he'd seen earlier, and most is uninjured, save where she hit the ground. Dirt in the outfit, smudges on her palms.
There are faint smells fading from her of other men and beasts-- a charred smell too, but, it's hard to make out without taking a serious moment to investigate.
