Moving through the dining area, you enter the kitchen , where two servants -- a human and a gnome -- are busy preparing food. They glance up as you enter, but otherwise seem to do their best to ignore your presence, continuing to work on a meal.
There's one other door out of here, to the west. When you try it, it's locked, but you easily notice both servants look up to watch what you're doing.
