Can we play in the special more than once but on different tiers? I've played it with a Lvl 1 character. Can I bring a Lvl 4 character or would it need to be a Lvl 5?

I know the rules changed for the last special (GDXI), but do they apply to older specials?

You can only play in a single special with 1 character at a time. The only thing that changed specifically were some of the Specials you could earn a Chronicle for each tier. (Please refer to individual Multi-Table Specials for specific rules.)

With that being said you can't play two characters at the same time in different tiers for the same special during the same Convention.

if I need to purchase a resurrection boon, do I need to do anything else? Might need to buy one if GM Tyranius gets a TPK in a game we're playing...

You need to let the GM know so that they do not report your character dead in the reporting.

The boon system is not smart enough to undo the status when you purchase the boon.

Correct. You have to tell your GM at the end of the scenario whether to mark your character as dead, or if you will be spending the ACP for the boon.

It's a bit counter-intuitive that you don't mark them dead and then resurrect them. But if you think about it, you do have to clear any conditions before leaving the table. And death is kind of a big condition.

I would not purchase until the end of the scenario if a death does happen.

Agreed, I would almost just mark it happened on their chronicle and the player's plan on purchasing a Resurrection.

I Think what GM Tiger was meaning was... has 1-99 been updated to allow replay at each tier (like the more recent specials) or if you have played it once, that is it.

And if that is not what they meant... I'm curious as well.

I am still tracking they have not updated 1-99 to replay at each tier. Our local lodge has been pushing for this for years, best we have got is a 'maybe'.

1-99 seems to be the only modern MTS that isn't replayable.

I have only seen a couple so far. I have one (Shoony Baba Yaga Witch) named:

According to Alex's official Organized Play Twitter, all games playing over the MLK weekend get an extra Hero Point for each player.

I have been honored and enjoyed being the Venture-Captain of the PbP Community for the last 3.5 years and I could not have asked for a better crew of online Venture Officers to volunteer my time with.

I will be stepping down as Venture-Captain effective 31 January 2023, though I will still be around to make sure we do a good left seat / right seat.

My goal while as VC was to maintain what Hmm and Jesse had built and continue to shape and grow the community. We expanded into new Lodges such as Cayden’s Keg and Find the Path Discord servers. These grew far bigger than expected. So much so that we had to bring on a second VA into one of the Lodges just to handle it all. We were able to participate in PaizoCon, which is considered a Premier+ Event in terms of additional AcP and awards, which Play-by-post never had a chance at before.

The great news is that one of those VO’s I have had the opportunity of working with has volunteered to step up into the role. Please welcome Bigrin42 (Bigrin42#2231) as our newest Venture-Captain. Bigrin has done a lot of work for us already running a good portion of the Discord Community and I suspect this transition to be quite seamless. The online tea has always been a cooperative effort and shared decision-making process among many, many hands.

You all will not be losing me, I will still be around running games and playing in the same as I am now. I will just be transitioning roles and like Hmm continue to advocate for online play and the greatest PbP community out there.
