So stupid question. Or more accurately: crunchy question. I kinda want to play Race. However, I also want to save that for a character who is about to hit 20, which should be maybe sometime in 2018? 2019 tops?
I have opportunity to use replay gizmos to replay. The question is, should I? Is the novelty of the content going to be enough to counteract that at level 19.6, me and my party are going to blow through this like a g+~%@!n freight train?
To phrase it differently, if I play this now will I set myself up to be bored when I play it with another, higher (much higher) level character?

When you registered your session, you were sent an email that has the information for filling out chronicles (especially the event name and number), as well as the reporting link. If you have any other questions or can no longer find that email, please let me know.
I did get an email with event name & number, but there was no reporting link.

I think I'll refrain from GMing this one. My first kid is due in February, so I think I'll be a bit distracted. Ok, more than a bit distracted. Super happily distracted.
Congrats MBtC!

There were links in the Update One and Update Two emails, mine initially went to my spam folder so it's worth checking to see if that's where they ended up.
In any case this is the reporting link for Gameday games that have been completed.

Agreed. In a timed special with backup GM's ready (and frequently champing at the bit) to step in if needed, there's really no need to let a table go dark.

I want players to be vocal when GMs get sick or disappear. We had a few GMs in Cosmic Captive who got sick and then disappeared for three days without telling anyone.
GMs, I want you to be proactive in using the backup system. Plan ahead. If you feel sick or stressed, let Shifty and others know right away.
We all need time off. That’s why the backup system exists!
Hmm

Problem: The deadline for reporting Gameday games is 3 days away, but my game is nowhere near wrapped up (bear in mind we're one of the 'Round 2' set), and some of what I need to report (like Prestige earned and deaths) clearly hinges on the story being wrapped up. What should I do?

Report now.
Do boon rolls now.
Assume full prestige and that everyone is currently alive. Then finish the game as best as you can, and do chronicle sheets when you finish.
Keep the email receipt that you get when you report. If ANYTHING changes in the final tally, reply to that email or ping me, Magabeus, or GM Lorenzo. We will edit the final version to match.
Why am I having you guys report early? So that we can process all the player and GM boons and go through the process of closing down the Gameday. There is a lot of paperwork involved in conventions, and we would rather get the bulk of it done before the peak of holiday season.
Hmm
PS this is the equivalent of handing reporting early to your store organizer when the game store closes before you’re done, and you finish the last combat out in the parking lot.

Sooooo... It looks like I'm level 10. And I'm eyeing a play of Race for the Runecarved Key at *not crazy high level* just yet. Does anyone want to join Nachts and his cackle on a quest to high tier RftRK?

Okay, game reported - though I didn't include anybody's E-mails but my own since I didn't have anyone else's. I hope that's alright (nobody won Boons).

That is fine, we only need the emails if someone won a boon.

I ask, because this happened to a pair of games I picked up (as a GM) this current Game Day. And then, today, Customer Service accidentally deleted one of the game threads apparently just before going home for the evening.... sigh.

I police the tables pretty hard and do my rounds to see what is up and where throughout the specials. Things stay on track as a result :)

Well, Hall of the Flesh Eaters (tiers 1-2 and 4-5), originally by GM Deekan, seem to have slipped the dragnet. And now all the names have been changed to protect the innocent. *Dun Duh Dun Dunt* ;)

GGG/WMIG: Shifty is talking about multi-table specials. He's saying that in specials where he is the overseer, he checks on all the tables and intervenes when needed.
For regular games as opposed to specials, we rely on the players to let us know when a table needs help because the GM is not around.

Hey Everyone,
GMs Poblano Peppers and Khaos Knight are working on converting the PFS Pregens to BB Code for PBP. It’s a big project and we could probably use a couple more people to help with it.
Interested? If so, check in here!
Thanks,

If you have herolab, that’s a few clicks. Isn’t it?

Wei Ji the Learner |

One: Not everyone has HeroLab.
Two: HeroLab can be wrong.
Three: Not all the pregens fit normal mechanics for their class, which would give HeroLab fits.
In the middle of prepping two tables for a local convention in just over a week, so unable to provide bandwidth for the project at the moment, but appreciate the effort being put in on it!

I'm not one of the online Venture Officers, and thus have no connection to the Game Days (other than being a GM/Player like everyone else), I'm just a wild-eyed loner running Multi-Table specials under my own banner.

Emphasis mine.
Points two and three are actually what slows the process down, I can use HL to create a 90% accurate statblock in a few clicks, but these are Pregens, we need 100% accuracy to the sheet, not the piece of software.
Where Hero Labs insert their 'short descriptions' we need to change it for the one on the actual Pregen sheet =)

Possibly, but I will admit to being a bit suspicious of folks who answer questions they were not specifically posed. It makes me think that they might be Shifty. ;)

Yes Shifty runs a tight ship and so far the GMs are using the backup gms so games are picked up pretty fast.

* This is a TIMED event, GM's need to be prepared for a consistent work rate during the period - and weekends do count against the timer :)
* Tables are to be held on the Paizo forums (with the exception of Arrowhawk on Mythweavers due to longstanding custom).
* No additional tables will be added.
* Sign-ups will be closed off once full, or no later than 21 Sep 17
* You can only GM one table.Sign ups
This is a two-part process.1: Register your details HERE
2: Select a table HEREPlayer sign-ups will be open from 09 Dec
Is the GM sign up a first come, first serve type of thing? Or are specific GMs selected from the sign-ups? I'm fairly new to PBP GMing, but would like to get into helping run these interactives. Should I just claim an open table (I've done this in the meantime... the last 7-8 tier table)?

Shifty, I registered as a GM, then failed to spot the second step and didn't claim a table. Feel free to use me as a backup or in case of extra tables needed or just as a lurking presence in the background. I'm quite good at lurking.

Hey, guys, there have been a few posts scattered around the forums raising questions about a particular rule, so I wanted to post here to make sure everyone is aware.
The rule is that a character can only be in one game at a time. Playing a game with a pregen when the credit will go to a character is considered to be playing that character for this rule. GM credit is an exception to this rule. Mustering is not considered to be playing that character, so it's OK to list your character's details for a new game while an old game finishes up, as long as it is done before the new game starts.
If you have any questions about this rule, please either post here or send me a PM.

Thank you, I see you both on the list. Last special the waitlist didn't end up waiting and I pulled most of them into active tasks.
@GM Ewok
AS above, I know how much time and effort (bandwidth) I have, and on Overseer update days I allow up to two hours, and other days is about an hour a day at least just to keep up to what the tables are doing, answering the bajillion PMs, and untangling various bits and pieces of general admin (like sorting back-up GMs etc). I am sure I could trim that time commitment down, but I take a personal interest in how the tables are progressing and what is going on - so I take the burden on the chin.
So yeah, there's certainly an outer edge of fun, and past 15 it gets really wobbly.
I am a huge fan of sticking to what I know I can 100% reliably deliver :)

As this is a society game though, I'd probably not bother with the 20%, and just have them arrive back outside the tapestry. Either that or GM fiat them to arrive at the home of their deity, who can have a servant either Have Words with them or thank them depending on their behavior. No matter what, they would be gone from the encounter and probably the rest of the scenario unless they have a way to get back easily.
