Oops! This totally didn't happen, as Hisao killed this one before she could act in round 2. Nacht does not take this bite damage or get tripped....

Outside in the night, on the road from London, comes William Striker, cavalier, riding his warhorse along the rutted road....

He comes upon The Stag Inn, a roadside inn with lights glowing in the windows.... And curious sounds of combat issuing from the ajar front door!

Well, it is a full moon tonight, after all....

Morphing before their eyes, the tavernsfolk become beasts of ravenous jaws and rugged fur. Though not devils per se, their actions evoked the idea from Kyleon.

Shocked at first, as one hit the floor, the sailor standing in disbelief with his weapon idle finally put it to use.

He leveled it at the enemy Alphonse targeted, adding his quarrel to its torso.

Well now! This William Striker seems a worthy pawn for the son of Odin to play with! He's got Angle and Saxon blood, that's a boon in his favor.... And he wields a big hammer! I like him! I suppose I'd better see that he gets a gift as good or greater than those given to these mortals by the other gods.... Hmmmm, let's see.... Perhaps a good magic hammer kind of like mine.... I'll have old Alberich of Nidvallir forge for this young man a hammer worthy of a hero!
