Hisao of the Yellow Reeds
Hisao waves back at the elven man wielding the crossbow. Realizing he'd just waved a acid filled curved blade that had just almost decapitated a sea monster at the man, he cleans it, puts it away, and then waves again.
Kyleon
The ship wheeled in a wide turn, but it really wasn't Kyleon's business piloting such a thing. In fact, it was quite notably not his; while he'd seen Roger sail The Mermaid, he was performing the manual labor that needed doing - unfurling sails, moving cargo, repairing what he could. In that sense, his knowledge of crossbows came in handy.
Waves were another matter entirely.
Yet water hazards or no, this group of people would still be a more immediate threat. Or another sea creature. Given they just slayed one, and given the man on it put his blade away instead of thrusting it towards him, Kyleon gambled they were not threats. Directly anyway.
"Erzählen Sie jetzt bitte eurere Geschichte. Wohin gehen Sie, dass Drachen mitkommen? Wir sollen nur nach England gehen ... oder - stimmt - gegangen." He folded his arms over his chest, eyes unamused by the situation.

Nacht moved closer to the crossbow-being, calculating steps and stride. He began to button up his coat once more, hiding the purple blueish~ chitin-plated arms beneath, while sheathing his weapons. He gets all of 5 ft from the being before speaking.

" Um einen größeren Drachen zu töten. Sie versuchen, nicht zu weinen, das ist nicht gut für Sie. "
The eyes that came from the hood were unnerving and clearly eyes of a predator. The sound of wounds sizzling and bones snapping into place comes from under the cloak.
Kiyu Amunatus
Kiyu moves over to the Drake and uses her kukri to slice it's throat open just below the jaw.
Reaching inside of the wound and feeling around she is disappointed in finding no venom sacs on the beast.
Shaking her hand and kukri of blood she stows the weapon and heads back down below deck.

Nacht's eyes follow the dark-being as she clearly searches for more.. poisonous material. When she comes up disappointed he notes the motions in which she returned and starts to feel much better. He then flies back up to the crows nest.

The Lusty Fools manage to navigate The Mermaid into port at Folkestone at around dusk....
As the sun sinks into the sea, The Lusty Fools arrive in England....
Dockhands help the adventurers harbor The Mermaid, inquiring about her former captain, and crossing themselves when they hear The Lusty Fools' tale of a dangerous crossing that cost the former captain of The Mermaid's life....

Mike, the combat got cluttered for me awfully fast; I threw a Bomb at the Drake but didn't see a post from you on its results -- did the drake die before I went late in round 2? Did I not throw a Bomb because the monster was already dead?

The drake would be dead before Iommi-Tyr lobbed a bomb at it in round 2....

The sea drake is nutritious and tastes much like eel.... There is enough meat to feed The Lusty Fools for many days, if they can find a way to preserve it....
At Folkestone, the townsfolk are very curious about the monster's carcass, coming out of their homes in droves to get a look at what's left of the sea drake after Nacht has fed....
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
It wasnt moving and killed by him, its more he likely won't eat it. Its not a full corpse. He generlly likes his food still moving or twitching.
Nacht takes portions keeping them relatively edible with Purify Food and Drink. It goes without saying his eating habits are largely hidden.

Kyleon shook his head at Magnusson.
Clearly, Kyleon was getting worked-up. He brushed away some tears.
Paddy
we need some salt! we can make money selling preserved drake meat fillets! Oh, what a capital idea....
Paddy then focuses on the more pressing matter.
Now, where shall we go? We should get there urgently, if things are getting more dire by the day. If this beastie attacking us was random or not, I don't believe in huge coincidences...

The dockhands at Folkestone harbor are duly impressed at the sight of the sea drake's corpse, and lend The Lusty Fools a cart to haul the carcass around town in....
That be old Brinegullet! They slayed 'im, they did! Now the fishermen can ply their trade without fear! calls out one of the dockhands....
Baron of Folkestone
As evening settles over Folkestone, an impromptu feast is thrown by Edmund, Baron of Folkestone, to celebrate the heroes that rid the port towns of the dreaded Brinegullet, apparently a menace to trade and fishing for several years now....
We, the people of Folkestone, thank you brave heroes for slaying the wicked sea drake Brinegullet, and making the Channel safer for ships making the crossing! We haven't much to reward you with, but I, Edward, Baron Folkestone, shall see to it that you are comfortably hosted at my manor yonder, and given fast horses and some coin to fill your purses, such as might be spared from my treasury! What are your names, that we might tell of your brave deeds to all who inquire about the drake's slaying?

Well, Hamid of Persia, welcome to England! And thank you for your valor against the evil Brinegullet! That sea drake has been the death of many fine fishermen and others that ply the waters of the Channel over these past several years.... You have the thanks of the people of Folkestone, to be sure! I hope you will find our accommodations adequate here, as compared to whatever you may be accustomed to in Persia....

Pound is the name of the gold piece currency. 1 gold pound= 1 gp.
Baron of Folkestone supports Bedford, because of his commitment to secure England's interests in France.
The strategic importance of Folkestone is crucial to England. It is one of the Cinque Ports, a hub of trade, located a short hike south of Canterberry, about 75 miles from London.

Lord Folkestone, thank you for having me at this impromptu party.
Your Barony is impressive, here -- a tribute to Great Prince Harry, greatest King of England.
I am "Magnus Sverreson" of Norway via the Faroes. (Is there need for a Bluff, here, how would he know me from "tom," "dick" or "harry"?)
I give tribute to your Lord Bedford on his recent capture of the traitorous heretic, Joan the Witch of Arc; may she burn in hell!
I hear Bedford has once again set a date for the coronation of Henry on the French throne. Once the pretenders in France accept their lawful King, as decreed by King Charles the Beloved, through the Valois Lines and of his eldest, Isabella, true peace can come to France.
And we know what that means for Bedford who runs it on Henry's behalf.
