![]() Standing in his goat-drawn chariot with lightning flashing off of his hammer, Mjölnir, Thor, god of thunder and friend of mankind, bellows to the five other deities assembled in the Ethereal Plane around a new Game of Mortals: Hail, ye mighty gods and goddesses! I be right honored to play this Game of Mortals with such as thee! His magnificent goats stamp and bleat, their eyes burning like embers! Behold mine favored mortal champion: Sven Shieldbreaker! ![]() In his great hall, Thrudheim, in Asgard, watching the adventures of The Lusty Fools on his brand new high definition scrying pool, Thor chuckles and shakes his head.... In Ancient Norse: Don't make me commission a Lance of Thunderbolts for young Will.... By Hel's skinny bones, you made me! A Lance of Thunderbolts it shall be! A Lance of Thunderbolts is a +3 Large throwing returning lance that deals 4d6 points of damage on any hit. Further, if the wielder wears a belt of giant strength, and knows he wields a lance of thunderbolts, the weapon can be used to full effect: It gains a total +5 enhancement bonus, and strikes dead any giant upon whom it scores a hit (Fortitude DC 20 negates the death effect but not the damage). When hurled, on a successful attack the Lance emits a great noise, like a clap of thunder, causing all creatures within 90 ft to be stunned for 1 round (Fortitude DC 15 negates). The lance's range increment is 30 feet. Strong evocation, necromancy, and transmutation; CL 20th; Weight 15 lbs. ![]()

Perhaps a good magic hammer kind of like mine.... I'll have old Alberich of Nidvallir forge for this young man a hammer worthy of a hero! |
