Ok so I have windwalk once, I can cast it on 6 people we are now 7.
I don't want to waste time and let Adivion setup so if people really want to go spend money maybe one of us should go do it with windwalk, I also don't like the idea of us walking/riding our way to Gallowspire - Do we have enough overland flys to get everyone there?
I could windwind walk to Lepistand do shopping get two scrolls of windwalk and we can get to gallowspire in 2 hours? hows that?

Hi guys,
In case any of you are interested, my Reign of Winter group is recruiting one player - I think we are about to finish Book3 (not sure because I never played it before) so far ahead in the game (good chance to play mid-high level characters).
In any case, recruitment details are HERE - go check it out if you can ;)

Guys, dropping a line to let you know I will be going on vacations from the 20th until the 30th June. Will have access to internet, and will probably be able to post here and there during those 10 days, but in between family, SUN, beach, swimming pool and summer beverages, the posts will have to wait a tad ;)
I am on holiday from the 1st July until the 20th and completely out of contact. I would love to wrap this up before then. Not to rush, but I think it would just be really nice because I'm pretty sure the 14th of July is our 5 year anniversary :)

We can wait Cara, wouldn’t be right to wrap it up without you there.
Shall we just call a time out on this until everyone is back? Resume the rest of round 1 at the end of July ?
Ok back on the 23rd. We were in Kuala Lumpur for 4 nights but internet was limited to free WiFi in coffee shops and such so I was never going to update with anything meaningful.
Currently at the airport on our way into Malaysian Borneo so I expect to be more or less completely off the grid now for the next couple of weeks
I want to let you behind the screen a little here.
As things stand - If you don't kill the Whispering Tyrant, he will likely destroy the world. If you do kill him his power changes everything as Adivion intended.
Adivion feels you forced him into a position to do this indirectly by denying him the Raven's Head and not joining him. Thinking about this, he came to realise that you absolutely would not stop in your attempts to foil his plan. And so, in keeping with his character, he used that knowledge to his advantage, placing you in this seemingly impossible position.
I appreciate people might find this really dissatisfying but I hope you think about it in the spirit that it's intended - i.e. I have tried to instil a theme in this game of questioning what it means to be evil, what is right and wrong and are there grey areas in between. I really aimed for what they achieved in Captain America: Civil War where both sides can be seen as being 'right' or at least justifiable in their positions.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this - good, bad or indifferent - but for right now in game, you have the pressing issue of having to deal with the immediate problem of the toughest fight you have ever had.

I will only find this dissatisfying if there is no way to destroy the machine and prevent Adivions plan.
That would piss me off no end.
But as for the rest of it it’s been very cool j, Adivion is a class baddie :)
Jon hates the fact that he has been used, time and again and even if Adivions plan was the best thing that could happen to the world, he would oppose it with his last breath just because he hates the man so much.
If you are interested, this is now completely different to the book as written.
In the campaign, Adivion is a pretty faceless bad guy. You only hear his name for the first time in Book 3 and he doesn't make a physical appearance until Book 6 when you encounter him here at the top of the tower.
As written, his plan is to drink the Carrion Crown elixir and become a lich which is all a bit lame in my opinion.
I wanted this guy to be memorable and to have motivations that you can identify with. I've been building him up for literally years and planning all these moments for so long in advance that I am genuinely excited when they pay off.
When I watched Avengers Infinity War and Thanos was talking about sacrificing half of the universe in order to make it sustainable for all the generations to come afterward, I thought to myself "this is basically Adivion." I'll be happy if I've captured just a little bit of a similar pathos in him.
It's been amazing playing this campaign with you all, there have been so many cool moments and I hope this is another one. This is go time, end of the world, everything on the line.

It's pretty awesome J. He is a true adversary and a great character. I've loved every moment of the campaign and am honoured to have been part of such a dedicated group of top notch roll players. I often regret killing off Seb but the moment called for it and I think it was o e of those memorable moments. I think my favourite part of the whole Thing was his rooftop chase in book 2. That sequence just seemed to be tailor made of a monk and it worked perfectly. Good luck guys. I've got a bad feeling about this!

There aren't many games where you have to confront such conundrums, and (maybe) insurmountable odds - I like the fact the decision to be made is not a straightforward one. Grey areas are an amazing thing for storytelling Jam, and you've done a great job with it :D
I would NEVER have imagined Adivion would be a most a faceless guy in the book - I always thought he was the centerpiece. Wow... You've done very well in bringing him to life - like so many times before, my hat is off to you sir!
Fighting the Whispering tyrant will always be a memorable moment, even if we are insta-killed :D

It's been amazing J, I can see how Civil War has influenced the story arc you've laid out for us and can see a touch of Thanos in him.
So far everything has been good, I've always perferred seeing the the end boss bit frequent throughout a campigain as it helps drive a story better for me personally anyway
