Gone but not forgotten. Cara's story isn't done. Nor is that of Morbar and Davos. Neither Banishment nor Death can suppress the spirit of these heroes destined to go down in the annuls of history.

I always feel genuinely bad to take a player out of the game. Whether that's through death or anything else. Being out of the game isn't fun. But we're telling an amazing story here and the risk of failure has to be part of that.

Brutal Jam - very well done.

How long has it been? Over five years! It is impressive to say the least guys, and I feel privileged for having played a part in this.

The first post was in July 2013. An insane commitment by everyone and I am grateful to you all.

Cara - I can't leave it on a downer like that unless you particularly want me to.

It is fine man. The good guys won, and that's what is important.

I'd rather we leave it at that.

It's been an absolute pleasure dude

I was going to post this in gameplay just as OOC but it got a bit long so...

I found this very hard to put down one of my final posts in gameplay, there was more I wanted to say. I didn't want to take to many liberties or over step where you might wrap things up.

I found it quiet sad, I don't think it's really hit me that it's over. There will be nothing else coming from me as Markus, but I wanted him to kind of fall back into his old life. From the start he was a wounded man that just kept moving for he knew if he stopped he wouldn't and couldn't start again. It got better, meeting all his new friends and Kendra. He always felt the couple of weeks spent in Ravengrow as the best of his life when we cleared out the prison. It was like having a family as we got Kendra ready to move."

He fell for Kendra if some of you didn't know, but maybe just the idea of her. A moment I found as a player to truly hit me was the letter we got about her being taken, that was brilliant and up there with all the twists and turns that are to numerous to list. He did have a wife called Emily before the campaign started and I didn't bring that up as much as we got late in the campaign but Kendra was very much like her. Smart and brilliant, a big fish in a small pond.

But I've said enough, one last thing I'd like to say is hat off to you JZ, it was brilliant from start to finish and I will miss Markus and the game. It makes me want to start all over, maybe I'll go look for another Crimson Throne game but I know most will be lacking in the work you've put into this.

Thank you very much, Markus. Been a pleasure.

Agree. All brilliant. Borrowed shamelessly from Mr King for mine but a happy ending or Erek putting down roots just didn't fit with his character. I was toying with him returning to the Worlwound, or being an elder in the temple of Iomadae training Inquisitors but he's a hunter of evil. Until the end of his days.

Brilliant campaign. Masterly woven and told by J. Best role players I've had the pleasure of working with.

Gonna miss it now it's over.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to complete this adventure with you all and I am really chuffed we completeted it.
it took some real dedication from us all and especially on your part j, you did an amazing job!

I am going to really miss Jon, he struggled from the start to overcome his many demons and I like to think in the end he came out the other side in good shape.
He had been lost for so long, not living. just existing.
Meeting everyone in Ravengro and forming real bonds of friendship helped him to deal with his cursed life and it makes me glad to know he found himself a home, a wife and a family of his own. That’s all Jon ever really wanted and he deserved his piece of happiness.
Long days and pleasant nights Jon....

I have nothing more to add guys - it was emotional to read some of the passages of your epilogues, and it seems almost universal for you all, as it is for me, that Ravengro was the most memorable part of this wole adventure, for many many reasons - probably because it is the part entailing more RPG, and where the character's personality was more evident? Dunno. I know I will not forget it.

Thank you all for the kind references to Caradwen and Morbar - it is an honor to have a son named after her Jon ;)

As far as PbP goes, this has been the most significant game I have ever been in - thank you for the opportunity and for sticking with it till the end all of you, and thank you Jam for investing so much of yourself in bringing it all to life.

It is strange that I won't be checking the JZ's Carrion Crown game every single day anymore...

Hope to see you again around the boards, and hope Markus, Jon, Davos, Erek and Kendra find happiness forever in their lives ;)
