Jon looks around at the others and curses savagely, they were in a hopeless situation and One he did not think they could survive.
Drawing upon his powers Jon cries out as he floods himself with divine power and his form begins to expand as he is transformed. He could feel the divine might surging through him and he knew it would only buy him a little time.
Against the Tyrant he feared they had little chance of success, raising is hands he sends out a surge of power that covers them all.

I hope you are all ready, because this is the end. The end of everything we know, we have to stop the Tyrant , there is no other choice. But if we do manage to kill him, we destroy our way of life forever. Jon says sombrely, inside he feels sick, the rage has given way to a feeling of utter frustration and hopelessness.

Jon watches grimly as Adivion screams in agony and he feels no pity whatsoever, as the Tyrant emerges he gasps as the wave of dark energy slams into him sending him reeling backwards and as the unearthly voice of the Tyrant fills his ears he shudders at the sheer horror and power of it and everything he had faced up until this point paled in comparison.
Righting himself he stared at the twisted form of Adivion and with every ounce of will and rage he had he raised his blade and squaring his shoulders he faced the Tyrant.

Aroden is long gone Tyrant and you are being used. As are we all. Return to your slumber! there is no place in this world for you! Jon says simply, though he knows it is futile. He may as well tell the sun not to rise in the morning.

This is some kind of Juju Zombie. That means it retains it's intelligence and unlike normal zombies it is able to full attack and is not slow.

This is clearly not the Tyrant at full power, the dark energy of this place seems to be enhancing him over time, building up his power. The body still looks more or less like Adivion but there is nothing of him left.

The swirling energies also grant it concealment (20%)

It has channel resistance, is immune to cold and electricity and has spell resistance. Even in this reduced form, it will have significant spell-like abilities too.

This guy is 100% undead


Kendra howls in pain as the dark energy washes over her and she is forced to throw herself toward one side. She skids on the solid roof top of the tower and just catches herself on the edge as she tumbles over the side.

Her dress billows in the high wind and it is only a matter of seconds before she is ripped from the tower.

The Tyrant steps back and raises his clawed hands. He draws down a column of blistering air out of the storm that lashes at you and begins to sear your flesh.

He then levels a claw at Erek and sends a cascade of icy shards ripping through him and Markus as his power continues to grow.

If the growing power of the Tyrant, fed by the black smoke that drift into him from the tower was not bad enough, shapes begin to descend toward you out of the storm, spirits of cultists and creatures long dead.

Last but not least, what is the save DC Jam, so we know if we failed or not? I am assuming it is DC25? Cara's current Fort Save with buffs sits at +14, so she would pass that, and take 17 damage?

Davos, you aren't going to learn anything from a glance 50 feet away, you need to examine the machine up close to learn anything useful about it. At the moment it looks like a huge collection of gears and cogs and arcane energy

I'm assuming you are placing it in such a way as to catch the Tyrant and miss everyone else, yes?

The Tyrant is suddenly ripped from his feet by the power of Jon's spell. He streaks upwards into the air as though he were plummeting to the ground and within moments he disappears into the storm clouds above.


Davos meanwhile hurtles forward himself, out of the burning sirocco and toward the machine. As he gets closer he begins to study it, it's complexity and brilliance but then he slams into something invisible!

Just like at Schloss Caromac, the machine is encased in force!

Davos, you can see that it is certainly a machine that amplifies energy, Adivion was not lying about that. But without getting to it and beginning to manipulate it, you cannot determine what, if anything, you can do to shut it down.
