Okay, to reiterate: the order of entrance is Tal, Monday, Mera, Calseinica, and Naberius. It will take us the entirety of the first round before the beast is in position for our exit, so everyone will need to make some saves and maybe take some damage. Naberius will climb out using monkey fish, and then we'll try to get everyone out one at a time with everyone at the bottom helping push the topmost character out.
@DM RichD: Can Naberius really use monkey fish to cling to a wall and avoid the damage from the acid? Just making sure, because my physical saves are kind of horrible... :P
Also, would it be considered cheating if Naberius left behind a rope as he gets out, and tied it to a tooth or something? That would make things a bit easier for the rest of the team.
@Naberius: You can use Monkey Fish, but if the audience feels you are not partaking of the 'test' they might turn on you.
As far as the rope, I would allow a sleight of hand check to leave it there and anybody that uses it, a escape artist check to make it 'look' like they are actually climbing using the traditional method.

I think, and I might be wrong here, but those rolls were for himself for all the rounds that he has to stay inside the beast.
But 1) you're right, that is confusing and 2) that's under the assumption that everyone gets out as fast as possible, but seeing as how Monday is now taking a -2 to everything and has no ranks in Climb....

Those rolls were just for Tal and were just for entering. I labelled them so I knew how many to make now. Since Tal entered first he had to make checks for each round while everyone was entering plus 1 check for the beast being moved into position.
I did not roll saves at all for the trial of trying to leave yet.
Sorry about that. Was swamped at work yesterday and was busy when I got home.
I figure one round to get everyone in so the Beast will be in position the next round.
EDIT: One round for each person and one full round to get it in position. So Round 6 the beast is reconfigured and you can all start climbing out on Round 7.

I would think it would be 2 rounds depending on when the save needs to take place. If you say the save is made at the end of the round then Naberius would be out of the acid as he climbs up the neck. If it is as the beginning of the round then there is no save as he enters as he was not in it when the save needed to be made.
Either way are we waiting for Mera to make her saves to progress to the escape portion?

So what is the mechanic for tossing an unconscious person out? They are incapable of making any checks whatsoever so is it possible to be pushed/pulled/thrown out?

DM RichD might want to clarify that, and take more direct control of what's happening here. The trial really needs to be ran round by round, like fight, so everyone who wants to aid others can act before the person makes an attempt at climbing. It might be slower, but doing multiple rounds all at once is very confusing, and will require some retconning. I'm pretty sure some of you should have made more saves for rounds spent in the beast until it is in escape position. Mera and Monday would also have had chances to heal Calseinica before she went unconscious in the first place. :/

That is very helpful, thank you. Just to be perfectly clear, both Mera and Monday could also heal Calseinica on rounds 4-8, since they were already inside and doing nothing else while Calseinica was continuously getting damaged by the acid. Right? I don't want to retcon if we don't have to, but if Calseinica is in any danger of dying due to out-of-character confusion, we absolutely should.
Naberius does have potions and a wand of infernal healing, if she does end up being unconscious and/or bleeding out outside the beast.

As far as I can tell, this is where you're at: Monday is missing her Reflex saves for rounds 3-9, from the round after her entrance to the round after Naberius made his escape. She needs to make six Reflex saves in total. Since she was doing nothing except saving against acid, Monday could have spent any of those six rounds healing Calseinica. As such, Calseinica might still be conscious. Regardless, DM RichD seems to have allowed Tal to toss Calseinica out like a sack of potatoes, so you don't need to worry about her being in the way of helping Mera with her climb. If you succeed in aiding her, she is out too.
