Vasco is a common raven, with noticeable scarring along its neck and left wing where the feathers are missing. In a rare fit of altruism, Naberius rescued the bird from being harassed by the imps that flock around the Acadamae. He nursed the bird back to health, and impressed by the apparent cleverness of his new avian friend, took it as his familiar.
