![]() @Aneirin, for the Fairy Companion, does it evolve with us? Like a druid companion type of thing (in terms of HP etc.)? EDIT: This is confessedly my feat at level 3! In terms of story, I will pretend his Fairy "found him" after searching for a while when he left the Kokiri Forest. @Galahad: Hey man! Maybe we will finally get to play together again, huh? ![]()
![]() Here's Bump, the Kokiri Rogue (Unchained) :) Bump Background Spoiler:
A blooming spirit from the happy Kokiri Forest, Bump's greatest adventure was always try to climb the Great Deku Tree while laughing and playing with the old Earth spirit. Bump lived several decades - centuries, maybe - trapped in his own curiosity, but too afraid to test the limits of the forest - Until the day he couldn't take it anymore. Hidden from all his friends, even his fairy, the happy Kokiri put his backpack on the shoulder and ran with his eyes closed. If he had to die, disappear, so be it. He didn't - and now, he found out an entire new world of adventures to explore. Bump has a big smile always in his face. He uses all green clothes, that match his long green hair. He's short even for Kokiris, but the years he already lived outside the forest gave him a more "rugged" look.

![]() It seems I could fit some of my chars here! I like "Deadly". Plus I might get a chance to play with my current GM Tech :) First Magic Item: 1d100 ⇒ 89 First Magic Item (Wand): 1d100 ⇒ 18 Spell Level 1, Caster Level 1 Wand. Let's see our second magic item. Second Magic Item: 1d100 ⇒ 61 Second Magic Item (Scroll): 1d100 ⇒ 83 Spell Level 2, Caster Level 3 Scroll... Ok we can probably play with it :) Let's see them stats: Stat Roll: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 5) = 10 -> 9
Not sure I'd be able to build much with those stats... Terrible huh! ![]()
![]() Hi cavetoad, thanks for the message! I'll review Goggh and reply. Maybe I could try him with a camel? They're slightly stronger... My intention is to change the mount to something more strong, bigger and bestial once possible. I might just have to pull my mount around until I find muleback cords or I become able to ride something else. ![]()
![]() Thanks CaveToad! If there's space in any of the other tables, I can create something different too. I just thought it was cool :) What do you think about Monstrous Mount? I know it's supposedly only something for level 4, but could we somehow work on these lines? If not, I'm fine with using undersized mount and a horse or camel, hehe. ![]()
![]() Damn! This is just too awesome to pass! Just reading the custom races and all makes me want to build something already! Great concept, CaveToad! Gonna roll here and start creating something ASAP. 5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5, 5, 5) = 18

![]() Here, I submit Isshash, the Living Vortex. I had been in conversations with our GM on how to bring him to "life" :) Isshash, the Living Vortex Spoiler: The Storm Kindlers were singing that evening. The Eye of Abendego was strong as ever - shaking the very foundations of earth and sea, all the power of water and wind seemed magically combined in pure destruction. It was a demonstration of the might of nature, maybe, and the cultists had their voices echoing in a prayer for their god, Gozreh.
That night it happened - the giant monster of wind and wave appeared to them. The herald of Gozreh screamed in joy, overwhelming the mind and body of the worshippers with the personified fury of Nature. Hundreds of the small vortexes around the hurricane seemed to come to life, first in a dance of cracking movements, then finally surrounding the ancient elemental. The men and women couldn't understand, but somehow their prayers were heard. By the will of Gozreh himself, a piece of the essence of the elemental was borrowed, creating the creatures known as Living Vortexes. The creatures are far from single minded, but clearly focused in a single objective: balance in Nature, in the oceans. As water adapts and fills, they exist solely to act as Gozreh commands. Living currently in the surroundings of Oseanarra, Isshash (name pronounced as a wave) is one of those elementals, a relatively young one. Curious with all the living races and still trying to adapt to their ways, the creature swam for a long time until it finally found an unlikely friendship in the figure of Lut, a small orphan merfolk child from the slums. While it started as a mutual curiosity, as the years passed Isshash took for him the task of guiding and protecting Lut through his childhood of poverty. Time went by and the elemental would, for times, see himself almost creating a home in a small cave where he and his "adopted son" would share their stories and dreams. Until Lut disappeared. The young merfolk disappeared on a trip to the market for supplies, and for Isshash dispair, the guards didn't know much, or didn't want to do much. After all the elemental search, only a name surfaced - Gaedren, the Hook, a Gillman criminal. It seems he uses to employ young children for petty crimes around the city. And for Isshash, there's no small task for balancing Nature - even the disappearance of a small child counts. The biggest quest of the elemental life seems to start like a drop in the ocean... ![]()

![]() Hi! Looks like fun, although I don't know much about the system. 1) the pilot! 2) mech and tech, this order ;) 3) think Wash of Firefly; someone with a soldier (trooper? :)) type of background, with great skills piloting a ship, but not great in direct combat per se. Someone that knows ships with the back of his hand and can do almost anything when talking about piloting them - from landing in the edge of a Sarlacc Pit to vertically dropping in Coruscant. A charismatic, brash sometimes person, but lacking negotiating skills or blaster skills! ![]()
![]() Here's the short background of Allyo Shan, the Oracle/Paladin I submitted :) Spoiler:
When the baby was born in what the men called the borders of the Ellysium, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, it's said the night sky had no stars. The mother cried even before she gave birth - as a paladin of Desna and one of the most respected Empyreal Knights of the crusades, she felt as if a bad omen could be darkening the birth of his first son.
The child came, but didn't breath. The spectral silence which dominated the environment just made things more grim. Slowly the silence vanished, replaced by whispers; the big group of battle hardened warriors and spouses couldn't help but talk to each other and wonder why had the goddess allowed her paladin such a dreadful fate. As the whispers got louder, they suddenly were forced to stop; a flying monarch came from nowhere, from no one's eyes, and landed on the forehead of the baby. What followed was the sound of surprise when the eyes of the infant opened and he started breathing. The men and women present, even the mother herself, smiled in joy as a voice was heard on their very soul: "... even in the dark, the stars shall guide your path." - it said, and the sky revealed its many, many stars, as the monarch flew away. For the baby, however, the whispers never quite ended. Allyo was born that evening. Following his mother's steps, he became an Empyreal Knight. His calling, however, were beyond that; he was an oracle of freedom and pure good. A somewhat strong and wise boy, the fierce paladin always had a mix of a warrior spirit and a natural connection to the goddess he worships from before being born. Although young, it didn't take long for him to be known in the battlefields for his enlightened voice of compassion and redemption. Just ordered as a paladin, the Angelborn doesn't have much experience, however, and dreams of going in the crusades and fight demons like his mother. His Oracle side shouts strongly, though; carrying the burden of the whispering voices that never ended, he struggles to even keep his focus. His message is one of peace and good, but if redemption isn't possible, he shall banish evil from the world. And a summary of the character concept: Spoiler:
Allyo is a divine caster and a big worshipper of Desna. His main stat (as you can see on the sheet I posted previously) is obviously Charisma, but he ships with some Strength and Intelligence as well. As most Gestalt characters he's a bit of a hybrid. He's competent enough in melee to survive and do basic damage, and his spells are designed more towards the support of the party, in the future even some crowd control and maybe damage dealing; I plan to evolve him even more on the spells side and, as I told the GM, get him in the Evangelist prestige class. He can somewhat offheal too, in case of emergencies, but he isn't too focused in it. His Oracle burden is heavy (the Shattered Psyche) but it was simply the one I had in mind when wrote the character and the coolest in terms of RP in my opinion :) Anyway, thanks in advance for the consideration! I like the other concepts appearing here so far (very creative, guys!) and I hope we can get this cool party together. ... And being a paladin of the goddess of Freedom and whatnot, I don't see much wrong at all on the brewing stuff! Hand me this mug, fellow! ![]()
![]() I ended up with a 15, 11, 9, 14, 12, 17. Like I said before, I'm interested in playing a pure fighter - half-orc, probably, with the classic armor, sword and board. Or maybe a big two-handed weapon. He's more on the tanky side of the world, leaving the damage, skills, etc. for the other party members ;) I can write a background if you feel it's a concept which would fit. I see him as a hardened sword-for-hire type of character, maybe an ex-militia soldier. I'm not completely new to PbP - I played in other forums outside of Paizo before, but White Wolf-style games. In Paizo forums I only played once and it didn't last much (GM and some other players were absent and it slowly died). I have good experience with Pathfinder and D&D, however, from actual tabletop, "in-person" games, and any help in terms of forums here would be obviously welcome. In terms of party, he'd fit the role of attracting attention and serving as the classic meat shield. He's on the "heavy armor" spectrum of the world, leaving the damage more to the barbarian and monk. We'd probably still be missing someone for skills, and someone for arcane casting, but I think it rounds well the group. For power level, considering my numbers, I think I'd be more in the balanced side. I might be able to absorb more attacks, probably (not due to HP, since the Barb's probably much further ahead, but in terms of armor itself). My damage might be close to the other in the beginning, but it won't last for long. In later levels (8+, maybe 12+) I'll probably fall behind in many other areas, but there's still a long road until then. Who knows, right? If I continue with my nice shining armor and attitude, I should be just fine!
