I'm just wondering when the class decks are going to be available over in the UK. I've pre-ordered them from Book Depository who are now telling me that the estimated release date is 11 November! (I'm really hoping that is a glitch as originally they were slated for early September, same as the S&S sets.)
I went onto Amazon US to see whether I could pick them up sooner, as I really want to have them (at least the Rogue deck) before I start my play of S&S. Even on Amazon US the release date is saying September 16.
Are those dates official? I know there were hiccups with the printing of the decks, but surely November is kind of a mistake? I may end up trying to track them down from a dedicated games suppliers. I really don't want to end up spending extortionate money on eBay, but I am a little OCD when it comes to getting hold of these things :P

The base set (and add on deck) are still slated for 9 September (that's the good news and hope it stays that way!). Just bit confused why the class decks seem to have slipped to November. Could just be a glitch. I may just end up ordering from the States, but doubt I'll have them for when I start playing S&S, which is majorly annoying.

The delay for the class decks is due to a quality issue in the print process.

Amazon basically did the same thing with the Base Set. But if you check the base set on Amazon right now, you'll see it is in stock. (And also #1 Best Seller in Trading Card Games!)
If I were to take a wild guess, I'd say they just like to take wild guesses.

Amazon.com...probably not taking wild guesses, but it could be the result of some sort of automated algorithm that is accurate for some commonly sold products and not-so-accurate for others.
As long as people buy, and in increasing numbers year-over-year, they probably don't care whether or not the expected ship date is accurate. Once the numbers drop, then they'll care.

Adding to the Wild Guesses, for a product that is being slipped back its probably in their best interest to put the release date conservatively in the future. For one thing, they don't have to keep making updates, and for another, it cuts down on the "I ordered something because it comes out on 'Date X.'" It's now 'Date x+5', where's my stuff?"
People are generally happier when their things ship sooner rather than later than expected.
I *am* debating how I'm going to get my Class Decks that I want to use for the PFACG right away.

Note though that some stores actually got their shipment of class decks on time for the previous release date of September 24th, and thus may already be selling them. I know of two stores in my area that got that little surprise on Wednesday. The street date is more like the projected date when most stores that have ordered the product will receive it.

Yah its been a week since the pushed out street date and still no shipping info from amazon. I walked into my local game shop and saw it on the shelves.
Pathetic. Next time I'll disregard the savings on Amazon and pre order with paizo or with my game store.
If price point is your main factor in purchasing, Amazon can be wonderful for new upcoming product.
If timeliness is more important than saving a few bucks, Paizo or your FLGS is definitely the way to go.

A couple of the Amazon class decks now say October 14th. I'm not sure exactly what you should take from that.
CSI has them in stock at a low price point, but if are using Amazon for the free shipping, you won't get that from CSI...unless you order $100. So why not order all of them and some of the playmats?
