Defend the deep, dark woods on this sweeping tactical map depicting the verdant floor of the Deep Forest! One side features a stream winding through woods near a druidic circle, while the other depicts a woodland environment perfect for a scenic ambush.
This portable, affordable map measures 24" x 30" unfolded, and 8" x 10" folded. Its coated surface can handle any dry erase, wet erase, or even permanent marker. Usable by experienced GMs and novices alike, GameMastery Flip-Mats fit perfectly into any Game Master's arsenal!
On tabletops across the world, the Flip-Mat Revolution is changing the way players run their fantasy roleplaying games! Why take the time to sketch out ugly scenery on a smudgy plastic mat when dynamic encounters and easy clean-up is just a Flip away?
When Paizo first started producing the art for the flip-mats several years ago, the quality took a leap forward. This art employed here marks another such leap -- the terrain is awash in fine detail. This is probably the best-looking "table-scale" art I've ever seen in a gaming product.
I believe this is also the first flip-mat to depict a forest unmarked by paths or other signs of civilization, making it a very useful addition to my GMing toolbox.

Beautiful, atmospheric, and my 5 year old loves it!
This is just behind the new town square map in terms of sheer beauty, but surpasses it for utility. I have already used it a half dozen or so times in three different campaigns; it's worked great each time. As a wilderness scene it combines atmosphere with generic utility very well - the only thing I'd recommend for Paizo is to leave out stuff like the druid stones. With the 'dungeon' maps we'll be playing on the same map for 3-4 hours, so the more interesting stuff on it the better, but overly specific details really hurt the reuseability that is vital for a single-encounter product like a wilderness scene.
When I unfolded the map for the first time, somebody who is in no way involved with RPGs sat next to me and commented 'Wow, that looks real pretty'
There isn't much to add. This is the single most beautiful Flip-Mat I have seen (and I have almost all of the Paizo ones and a few other). Both sides of the map look great and both sides will prove incredibly useful for all sorts of wilderness encounters.
Very awesome general forest flip mat. Plenty of detail. I like the way the tree-tops are "cut off" so that the much more relevant tree-trunk positions are visible. Just a little bit on the dark side, but really the best forest flip-map I've seen from Paizo or anyone else in quite a while. This will replace other generic "forest" flip-mats as my go-to mat for nature encounters or events.
