The Forest Path winds through a section of the forest on a country road, past streams, ruins for exploring and a country inn. There are plenty of trees for ambushes and hiding. The FLIP side of the Forest Path is wide-open greenery. Flip-Mat: Forest Path allows players the ability to be creative and adventurous in a more specific location.

Illustrated by Jason Engle.

The Forest Path measures 24" x 30" unfolded and 8" x 10" folded.

The Steel Sqwire Flip-Mat is designed to make your game portable & affordable. It is constructed of durable laminated card stock (~70 lb paper—comparable to that of a restaurant menu).

When mapping out your adventures you will no longer have to worry about the markers that you or your players may be traveling with. The Flip-Mat can handle wet-erase, dry-erase, and permanent markers.

Just wondering if these will become available any time soon. These are the best map products on the market and I need a forest path with a stream.

I was wondering if these have been discontinued or are just out of stock for a while?

Some of our flip-mats are out of print. We're currently working on putting out new ones, including Forest Path. I don't know when these are due in, though. :\

Ouch. You're wearing on me there, sir. By chance I happen to have two of these, but it's because I turn them over to use them side-by-side as a green base for adding Dungeon Tile trees to.

But I feel bad having two and others with none. :-( The other side of the Inn flip mat also has a grreen base, but it's a darker shade! The holiday spirit is getting to me. Write to me at ocasek50 at hot mail dot com and let's see...

I finally just got one (well its in the mail still) but won it on ebay along with three other out of print flip maps and map packs.

Perhaps paid to much for the two flip mats....but if you average all the maps I purchased from the guy at once I cam out only slightly high.....

We don't reprint Flip-Mats—you'll find a detailed explanation for that here.

Instead, we replace out-of-print mats with new products that cover similar themes. Flip-Mat: Forest is the current iteration.

Otherwise known as Flip-Mat: Forest at Night. :P

Anybody have a copy of this map that they are willing to part with? If so, e-mail me with condition, and price.

Ummm not sure this forum has a personal message type thing. Otherwise don't know your email.

I do have one though I would part with, can send pictures. Also the basic original flip mat as well.

I'm looking for this map and i can't find it anywhere online. Anyone have it and mind parting with their copy?

The blank green side is really appealing.

I don't understand why Paizo haven't made a double sided blank map in green/grey (grass/stone). Woodlands and Dungeons are by far the two most common areas. A blank sand/water (or ice) map would be a brilliant second map to follow up.

I was wondering if anyone new if there was a flip-mats of a forest available anywhere. I don't want rivers or paths or roads or water or clearings just trees. I would like to be able to make my own terrain on top of it.

+1 for a reprint (as part of the Classics line).

This map is incredibly useful because it has 2 bridges and 3 roadends and 2 riverends one can continue with other map-packs.

Dark Archive

I´d like to suggest a REPRINT again.

Maybe PAIZO could make an online survey about which flip-mat is wanted most to be reprinted as part of the Classics line?

That would be neat.

From what I understand, the very oldest Flip-Mats were produced under license by Steel Sqwire - Paizo literally doesn't have the original files necessary to reprint them. :(

Yep—the first four Flip-Mats were produced by Steel Sqwire before Paizo took over the brand—the original Flip-Mat (which had a sort of parchment look), as well as Forest Path, City Square, and the first Dungeon. It is very unlikely that any of them will ever be reprinted.

Ha, I still have the original Flip-Mat. It's gonna sell for millions on eBay someday!

Well, they do have the PDF. :)

@Gorbacz: billions.

This is an ugly map compared to the later releases. I wouldn't pay cover price for it.

It's the only PF thing that Steve Geddes doesn't own.

If you are looking to sell it on...

I like your thinking. You think Gorbacz will respond best to flattery or threats?

Booze and lewd ladies is what I respond to. Let me look around my apartment for that filp-mat (I've retired it once I got the Basic one) and I'll contact you.

Thank you for clarifying this, i didn't know that.

Could you maybe do something similar?
Maybe with a house in the middle or just with a river, some roads and bridges?

The original flip-mat has been replaced with the basic f-m, City square with city streets & village square/town square and there are lots of dungeon mats, but we havn't gotten anything like forest path again.

Maybe sometimes in 2017? ;-)

I'm gonna necro this thread:

We still havn't gotten anything useful like this.

Please make a new flip-mat with a house in the woods and some roads and at least one bridge over a river.

You could design it so, that it combines with other forest or river flip-mats, but that is not required.

Thank you for considering it. :-)
