Getting Haste as a Cleric

Advice

What it says on the tin. Is there any legal way in Pathfinder to get the Haste spell on your spell list as a straight Cleric? My GM allows some 3.5 prestige classes, and I'm looking into the possibility of a Cleric Swiftblade. I'm not so sure how he'd feel about 3.5 feats or domains however.

Clerics get Blessings of Fervor. It's comparable to Haste, but better IMO, albeit for a 4th level spell. Is there something specific you need Haste for?

The Haste spell is a prerequisite for the Swiftblade prestige class.

Yeah, Blessing of Fervor is almost Haste+.

Sure, you have to choose the benefits each round, but since you very rarely move and full-attack in the same round it doesn't matter that you can't get both speed and the extra attack at the same time. So all you really miss out on is +1 to attack and AC - and the benefits are well worth it (especially the option to stand up from prone with a swift action without provoking! Godsend against trip-happy monsters).

Play as a Samsaran with Mystic Past life. Pick haste as one of your spells known from a previous life.

Edit: Wait...nevermind that wont work. Haste is a arcane only spell :(

Wow, I can't believe there isn't even a domain that grants Haste as a domain spell.

Sorry, reading comprehension fail. You can certainly get Haste with the Arcane Savant PRC, I don't know if there are other ways in PF.

I like the Samsaran idea, except the description of the ability says "The spells must be the same type (arcane or divine) as the spellcasting class you're adding them to.". Since Haste is learned exclusively by arcane casters, wouldn't that rule out adding it to a Cleric?
Edit: Ninja'd by your edit.

Ask your GM if Channel Vigor is an acceptable substitute. One option it gives you is a personal effect identical to the haste spell.

I was just about to mention this. Only works if you worship Irori of course.

Actually...depending on GM you could maybe do it. Oath Against Savagery (a Paladin Oath) adds it to the Paladin list. Whether that constitutes Divine enough to pick it RAW or RAI, I dunno, but it might work with a lenient GM.

Be a cleric of a general concept instead of a specific deity. Now you can take other domains (in this case a druid domain), Take the Plains domain and you can now cast haste with your domain spell slots.

Terrain domains are only available to nature-themed classes.

It'd probably be eligible for the Samsaran thing, though.

Actually that sounds like it would work, thanks! I'm going to build a Cleric Swiftblade and a Kensai Magus Swiftblade, and see how they compare. Thanks again for all your help guys.

Obviously you play a Cleric of Nature then. Done.

It's not a cleric, but the Ancient Lorekeeper Oracle archetype (available to elves) allows you to choose Arcane spells to replace your bonus spells from whatever mystery you choose. You treat them as one spell level higher than usual, so you wouldn't get Haste until 8th and you'd be casting it as a 4th level spell.

Best I got. Good luck!

Plains domain grants ahste as a domain spell.

You can take the domain if you worship a nature related god.

Consequently plains is a pretty good domain in general.

If your CHA is high enough you could take the eldrich heritage feats using the arcane bloodline and eventually pick haste as an extra spell. i doubt this would come on line fast enough for you though.

Pathfinder Savant is a good way to do it, and you gain some other decent abilities from that Prestige Class.

If your DM allows 3.5 prestige classes, he might allow 3.5 domains. Specifically, Celerity gives you Haste at 4th. You might need to beef up the domain powers; RAW 3.5 just gives you +10 movement like Travel but nothing else. Not that that's bad, mind.
