Over on Reddit, a user named kklawm posted a post containing fan-made maps for every act of RotRL. They're pretty nice.

I found there to be a lack of maps for much of chapter 5 so I made some. PNG and Webm format (for most anyway). Beware large file sizes (the webm files are much smaller.)
Sorry to make this public, but the quoted user seems to have DMs disabled and I can't seem to find another way to message them. Anyway, figured I'd take a shot this way. I really love those Chapter 5 maps, but I noticed that in the Runeforge hub area, the statue of Karzoug is missing. Kind of a giveaway about what's going to happen... is there a secondary piece of art that you used as an overlay tile or something?

So I had a very late night over the weekend, because of a surprising bit of text that I found at the end of module #4. I knew that Mokmurian was supposed to retreat after the PCs' first attack, and I thought I read that he gathers maybe a dozen stone giants (generic stone giant stat block) and then re-assaults the PCs.
But that's wrong.
From the module:
Quote:Mokmurian fights until reduced to 40 hit points or fewer, at which point he uses dimension doors to retreat to area B13, hoping to get healing from his lamia minions. If they’re dead, he flees up to the surface and gathers a group of a dozen stone giants and any of the named giants who still live to mount an attack on the library to finish off the PCs.There is a named leader for each of the 7 tribes, PLUS Conna. PLUS the dozen generic stone giants. It's a HUGE fight. I noticed this a few hours before my game, and spent the entire time creating stat sheets for ALL of the named giants.
So not wanting all that effort to go to waste, here are the giant character sheets, both in PDF and POR (Hero Lab).
...
anyone got a backup or update for these? they all lead to dead links.

Which I'm willing to do.
However, as usual, I came here to see if someone else had the idea and all I can find is a post by Russell Akred in the Spires of Xin-Shalast (GM Reference) thread from 2008, with a link that doesn't seem to be available anymore.
Is there a reason, why no one else did this? Am I completely wrong with my assumption that those 5 pages would make a great handout? After all, Tsuto's journal contained less information and a lot more people went and customized it. What am I missing?
I guess that not that many people get that far in the AP for this to play a role, and even if, perhaps there is some exhaustion with the AP at this point, so nobody wanted to go that extra mile.
If you prepare that as a handout, I´d love to see it.
Hello there! Huge necro here but! if you happen to have that file (in German is fine!) I would like to ask you if you could share it with me please! Thank you!

Looking over the stat block for Doach, wondering how he has Will of Giants without Wis 14 and Iron Will. Is there another version outside of the AP it originates?

Hey there Kevin. Took another look at these and the various stat blocks I had for the siege. Honestly I think I'd forgotten about the requirements as I'd started slapping that on most nonbasic giants throughout books 4-6. Given on second review I can see I was using my in-house version of the fighter and that I didn't even assign skill ranks, this Doach is probably more trouble than it's worth.
If you want to just make a swap on the feat though, just swap Will of Giants for Iron Will. Additionally, if you're using ABP, bump up his Wisdom, then swap Step Up for Will of Giants to get him back where he's supposed to be.

Hey everyone, so the quest actually isn't in Rise of the Runelords, but it is in Sandpoint: Light of the Lost Coast and I am using it in my campaign, so I figured this was the best place to post it. I made a map for the ghost druid's cabin at Biston's Pond for the quest you can get from Madame Mvashti.
150dpi for VTTs, I have 300dpi versions for printing but I don't know if anyone wants those.

Over on Reddit, a user named fruitsteak_mother posted STL files for 3D printing the Eye of Avarice. That link goes to the Reddit post; here's one to where you can get the files (German language site).

CHEMISTSP private messaged me to tell me that you guys were asking for this stuff. Sorry the files went down; I lost my job, couldn't keep paying for the server. However, I think Google can probably host for a bit. Right? I think their links last a year or so. So here they are:
Please note, this zip file contains 2 of the giants (Doach & Drogart) in both original form and modified form. The modified form was for a different game and probably shouldn't be used. You want the original files if you're running this for Runelords. However, I'll include all of it and you can pick & choose. Have fun!

GustavoMalek wrote:TomParker wrote:That's partially true. But it also gives flying PCs more maneuverability, since there are more squares free from the pillars' heat damage. Flying PCs are still within a couple rounds of Karzoug even at 10' scale. Not only that, but the dragon has to fly through the columns as well. On the 5-foot scale map he could only make this flight amid the columns that accompany the stairs.
Well, I put tiles in my models, so as to make their scale more obvious for comparison between normal scale and doubled scale:
Those look fantastic. I think the Runewell being higher than the throne area is a good thing. Karzoug not have line of sight from his throne when the PCs arrive works to their advantage a little. Is there anywhere that says the actual height of the pillars? I interpret them the same as you—that they continue significantly higher than the platforms to act as obstacles, even though they look a little odd.
After looking at all of the excellent work you've done, I've decided to stick with 10' scale. I printed the map yesterday. I'm picking up some wood sheets today for the foundation. I haven't built anything like this before, so I'm winging it. I'm going to abridge the distance to the lowest platform, and will have that be 2" of foam as the base. If anyone goes below that we'll have to keep track of their actual height separately from their position on the model.
I'm still struggling with how to attach the pillars. I want them removable for transportation and access. I don't think magnets will keep them upright. I don't think hangar bolts and t-nuts are shallow enough for my base. If anyone has any suggestions...
Hi Gustavo!
I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if you could reupload the 10 foot version of your 3d map? It seems the link is dead, and I'd like to use it in my game.
If you do see this, thanks in advance!

Greetings!
I know this is many years down the road since this post was made but am hoping that the Stat Blocks for the Giant Leaders are still available somewhere.
My party has just reached the Storval Stairs and I am preparing the surrounds and contents of Jorgenfist for our next session/s. It would
come in very handy and save quite a bit of time to have this information.
Thanks and regards to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Hello Dragonlord.
See Outshyn's post just above yours on Jan 9, 2025. There is a link to Google Drive.
The Google drive files are still currently available when I checked today.

We're about to start book 3 in our game and I found that it was missing some maps:
The New Barracks. (Fort Rannick)
The Sunken Paradise. (There's a hint of an underwater cave where the snapping turtle or other sea creature may be, It's supposed to be nearly in the middle of the lake so I didn't include the shore)
The Pit . (Our Thaumaturge wanted to hunt the Sandpoint Devil)

Getting ready to run this again, so I spent a bit of time editing a map of Sandpoint to look like a "real" map that the party might receive.
Also made a flyer for the Swallowtail Festival with some of the events from the Swallowtail Festival Games thread. It isn't all of them presented there, but the ones I'm going to run if any of my players are interested.

You're welcome! Not sure if I'll be making anything else anytime soon, but if and when I do, I'll be posting it.

The Erylium fight (I was a player in this as well before deciding to run it starting shortly) has a (well-deserved) reputation as being frustrating. Not challenging, not TPK, just... hours of ineffectual actions on everyone's part.
So... using the wealth of Pathfinder material created since this AP anniversary edition dropped, I've recreated the encounter.
Erylium is now a wrathspawn who was a servant to Xaliasa (the Scribbler post-death). As long as wrathspawn are within a mile of their birthing minor runewell, they are functionally immortal. She has been down there a long time.
The shock of Thassilon's destruction and her master's death awoke psychic powers within the lone (she thinks) survivor. I rebuilt her as a spiritualist, whose anger focused phantom is a psychic echo of The Scribbler. That teases the existence of the Scribbler far in advance of Book Five (I like a long foreshadow). I'll have to rewrite Tsuto's handout but other than that, it's not a big change and roughly the same level of difficulty without the frustration of trying to chase down a flying, regenerating, damage-reducing, invisible foe at 2nd level.

So, I found it really odd that it seems that no one has made a map of the lumber mill crime scene from the Skinsaw Murders yet, so I did. Or rather, I hacked one together from an existing map by Mati on Inkarnate and assets from Forgotten Adventures. It doesn't quite match up to the book as written, since Harker's body is described as hanging, but I couldn't figure out a way to accurately portray that.
