Yaaayyyyy! Is that the final cover art? I hope so; I rather like it quite a bit!
That looks like Wayne's style, an angry Earth-y fossil, and our grown-up Iconic Kineticist, so I'd say it's final or pretty close to it!
Interesting to see the themes (decay and order) for the planes of Metal and Wood... the former might end up being my favorite of the bunch, it sounds like it makes for evocative sights. I wonder who lives out there? Seeing the settlements is what I'm looking forward to most.

LOCK AT THAT AMAZING ART! Look at Yoon, fighting against all those high level foes with the help of her fearsome owlbear.
Ayrzul is second only to Kelizandri as my favorite elemental lords, so far. It would be great to see illustrations for the good elemental lords, I hope there are some inside.
In the meaty bestiary, I hope there was space for metal and wood themed primal dragons. And, if there was, I also hope that Miguel Regodón got the chance to illustrate them. He has done a great work with the previously depicted true dragons.

Ymeri was CR 28, counting as having 10 Mythic levels. Nothing a player character in PF2 can do could touch that.

PF2 has yet to stat anything above level 25. Even level 25 creatures are something rare in PF2, so much that the Lantern King's avatar is a level 24 foe. And we are talking about the avatar of an Eldest.

Will this book have any rules-based elements for GMs? I'm seeing four main things in this book – kineticist, elemental-themed player options, the bestiary section, and the big gazetteer – and was curious whether there might be other material I should be looking forward to using at my table, as gamemaster. Not that the aforementioned isn't chock-full enough for a Pathfinder release. This storefront has psyched me out over this one! Get here quick, July!

A meaty bestiary presenting scores of element-themed creatures helps to populate these alien landcapes—and liven up even the drabbest Material Plane dungeon!
EDIT: I promise that "landcapes" title is copied from the page we're currently on!

A good way to mark these when you find it while quoting is to add "[sic]" from the latin "sic erat scriptum" in the quote next to the mistake. :O
But yeah, a good way to see this book is probably as the "elemental" version of "Book of the Dead" or "Dark Archive". Half bestiary, half option book, and half lore. ;)

Ha, thanks for the catch! I feel silly for skipping that one. I love elemental creatures, so the Bestiary stuff has the chance to be my favorite bunch of the monster family themed rulebook drops. Especially with wood and metal creatures! I'm fascinated to see how those play at the table.

So what are the chances of seeing Versatile Heritages for Wood and Metal? They should have their on equivalent to Ifrits, Oreads, Sylphs, and Undines right?
Luis Loza answered this question in his Reddit AMA last week.
For those who don't wanna click on the link:
I think metal and wood geniekin are a safe bet!
What I'm most curious about is what the two new heritages for Geniekin are called? We've had the names Oread/Ifrit/Undine/Sylphs/Suli since forever, but the two new names have got me wondering the possibilities.

From the playtest kineticist blog teaser, we know that metal genies are seemingly called zuhras (with the high-ranking title of damaj) - both names seemm wholly made-up (albeit still rooted in Arabic, given the Google search results), so I'd expect both wood and metal geniekin to be similarly original.

But yeah I wonder if metal and wood elemental lords will be LN/CN instead of NG/NE pair, since orderly/decay does fit L/C dynamics
I thought Wood was connected to Positive energy and Metal to Negative energy. Seems I was wrong.
Shadow plane is negative-adjacent.
First World is positive-adjacent.
Metal plane would be Maelstrom-adjacent.
Wood plane would be Axis-adjacent.
How would the other elemental planes relate to Evil and Good planes, if at all ?
Conversely, which planes would be Evil-adjacent and Good-adjacent.

Thank you kindly for the reply. Somehow I missed the AMA.
I’m glad we keep getting an Ancestry here and a Versatile heritage there with these books. Nice little trickle of new options with some larger drops like Impossible Lands’ ancestries and the like. I like seeing my players get creative with the options. There was talk of a “elemental pug party” recently so I’m sure the new geniekin will be of interest to my players.
I’m also quite curious about OTHER inhabitants of the new planes besides genies. I’ve always found the other inhabitants of the elemental planes to be more interesting.

Where are the stats for the Lantern King’s avatar located? That might be a good way to extend my EC campaign since I have already taken them to the First World.

We're not getting those stats until/unless we get Mythic. Honestly, that is as it should be.

The only demigod level creature we have seen so far are Mogaru and the High Priest of Kabriri, both of which received special statblocks, as if they were untouchable. Kortash statblock basically says "behave yourself or die", as he is a High Priest. Mogaru is represented by a collection of hazards caused by him being around, as he is beyond gargantuan in size.

Not the most surprising reveal, but exciting nonetheless - this new interview confirms that the Elemental Lords will be getting full deity writeups in the book!

The deity write-ups have been some of my favorite PF2 content.

The Pathfinder Society freed the lord of air, and then in quick succession, the other elemental lords were freed”,
So we didn’t get to have a adventure of them getting free?
It took an entire Pathfinder society season to free the Air guy and know the others just got freed off screen. Massive elemental themed adventure where Air guy tasks players to free his counterparts while being hounded by the evil elemental lords seems really cool.
I hope we see more on Feronia what’s her relationship with her son? What about her other kids?

Elemental Barbarian has me VERY excited! I'd been wanting more Instincts for a while, and this one opens up a ton of concepts. Wonder what their Anathema looks like?

I don't have the quote on me, but someone at Paizo explained this as, basically, "We did Ranginori's storyline, and didn't really want to do it again three more times." I'm sympathetic to that... and it gives us several cool new deities to play with!

A second article is also around on Wargamer, spoils a few other things including elemental barbarian (I was so hoping to see it!) and metal order druids?! Cannot wait for this book.
Interestingly, the Wargamer article mentions the Iron Druid ARCHETYPE, not order...So, maybe a class archetype? Or maybe just a mistake, who knows.

Maybe Class Archetype because it can wear... hrm... heavy metal armor... And other major changes?
