![]() You get one Obstacle (limited choice depending on the obstacle - first one was Chief Mate OR Engineer). Failing the obstacle either damages the ship or imposes a penalty etc. You get one Chase action (free choice, but can't use the same choice twice in a row). Your success at chase actions determines your progress in pursuit of the other ship, your failure at chase actions may have other consequences. ![]()

![]() It would be great for the PF1 players to also have this open to them. Whilst I understand that the heritage has some complexities (rules, balance, etc) I also feel that as PF1 is largely unsupported now and mostly played by the enthusiastic true-believers the impact would be minimal and give them not only something shiny and new, but a bit of a nod that we all still care :) ![]()

![]() I really liked the Lantern Lodge, I found the general watering down and changes to the factions took a little something magical out of Society games, and I really enjoyed all the little side missions and teh GM slipping a faction note across at the start of the mission. The faction cards were pretty cool though, unlocking some funky bonuses for ticking off goals. ![]()
![]() Yeah I want to know where the SPACE GOBLINS went. When Starfinder was launched you couldn't climb over the amount of SPACE GOBLIN art etc all over the show, I was legitimately excited. I was wanting to play a SPACE GOBLIN. Then they just vanished in S1 with no explanation, included in only a small handful of S1 era content - then gone. Instead, we got Skittermanders (who are very much NOT SPACE GOBLINS) and I am still slightly fuming. Can we get please get playable SPACE GOBLINS (like PF2 got) and a delivery on the implied promise? Perhaps we will unlock them in Sangoros Bulwark... ![]()

![]() I credit PbP to helping me really develop my rules expertise in Pathfinder and Starfinder - as both a player and a GM it has allowed me to witness a REALLY broad range of playstyles and ideas that I would never come across in my region, as well as have the time to then deep dive into them and read up. Unlike 'at the table', we have ample time to dig through rules to find RAW and make rulings, and we can even share links and references, and when you see an interesting character build, you have the time to read it - how often do you get to see an effective build at the table AND have the chance to see how that person has put it together mechanically? Now I am 5 Star PF1 and 5 Nova SFS and frankly that would never have happened without PbP. ![]()
