Music appears out of nowhere...

"Another fine evening in the ongoing liberation of the Great People of Galt, comrade. I am Frederic, and these fine citizens are a few of our fine proletariat, strong hands to assist with the weeding of the great garden. There are a number of important prisoners here and we have been sent to ensure they stay well secured and no citizens storm this place in righteous anger and execute them early - you know how passionate the hearts of those who have loved and lost so much for the cause can be. I can't blame them, who could not admire such righteous zeal? You...do agree of course?"

"I suppose it is a complicated matter, the 'Andoran experiment' was a path to seek freedom and liberty for its people, however we can see it was doomed to failure as they only took half measures - one must be prepared to cut out the rot with a sharp blade, not just try to cover it with perfume and hope the smell fades on its own. I am curious of this Colson person, have you spoken with him? What sort of fellow is he?"

"And is this a closed game or are you dealing us in?"

Estienne swallows hard and pauses. "Yes perhaps it's failed. Doomed hard to say."

"Colson...you missed him like an hour ago the was taken away. Heads will roll as they say. It's almost sun up. I think. But his friends are here still. Justice will be ours." says another man speaks up.

One man collects the playing cards. "Guess we can deal another hand, since no one's read their cards."

I checked the thread no one explicitly said they were keeping watch the WHOLE time while you ran around town. The mod kind of assumes that Colson is taken

Two other guards look alarmed and glare at Percy. "Say are you REALLY a Gardener pal. You sound funny. Where are you REALLY from?"

Estienne turns to them. "Watch what you say friends to the new comers"

"Or perhaps you'd indulge my curiosity, comrade Gardener, and at least show us his companions. I am keen to see what sort of people they are, it is concerning that Colson has been moved as that was never the agreement and shows that it is right we arrived - in their zeal our comrades are collecting weeds early and we can't have more of that"

"Don't worry about your cards, we can come back to it, come now comrade - lead the way to the cells. These good folk can stay playing cards and maintain the watch here, I have a suitable escort party."

Percy gestures to the door, and makes to leave, clearly directing Estienne to follow him.

Showtime.

"I do believe that's my cue" Granny says as she hobbles from around the corner, cane clicking on the floor.

"I'm part of mister Frederic's "escort". Not for his security, though, oh no. I'm more of a... confessor, of sorts. Who wouldn't want to tell the "sweet old lady" everything, when it's obvious she couldn't possibly be a Gardener. Why, sometimes people almost trip over themselves to tell me what they did." She gives the guards a rather tight smile.

"They say confession is good for the soul. That might not help those about to meet a Blade, but a full confession is also good for the citizens. Keeps their faith that justice is being served."

Estienne turns to Granny and Percy. "I don't know what game this man is up to old Mistresses, but we don't want trouble. Colson isn't here. My superiors felt it necessary to break an oath to him. I won't be part of their treachery." He looks at the other guards. "They can kill us or we can kill them. Is bloodshed what is needed?" He points to the back. "His allies are locked up back there."

Another guard looks at Estienne then at Granny. "But there's guards more horrible than us back there. Be warned dear grandmother"

The keys Rallas has opens the doors.

I've moved Rallas to the area near the cells.

Only narrow beams of light illuminate the long hallway, lined with
dull metal and iron bars. Most of the cramped cells are empty, but
the stench of stale sweat, chamber pots, and spilled blood hangs
heavy on the air.

At the sight of the Pathfinders one of the prisoner's near In a nearby cell yells. "The Gardeners are here again! I'm sure to execute us all!"

"Pakalchis! My specialty," growls Trokkus. "But watch out for their poisonous thorns!"

I'm going to use Fortune (thanks Percy!) to roll the save twice and take the better result.

21 fails unless you have a re roll @rallas

Trokkus wards off the outsiders effect and feels nothing ill.

The guardians seem to be focused on the Pathfinders.

"I hope Colson gets his due when his head rolls!" shouts one of the Andorans.

Everyone expect Ralls and Kahwen can act pending results above

Granny, Percy, Trokkus and Jory are up

Percy continues his wicked cackle. (extends Trokus fortune)

He looks at the green-tinged Pakalchi.

Jory kept to that ghost. Hopefully the other creatures wouldn't hurt them so much. He sped up his shots and pulled back extra hard.

Perfect shot arrow 1, ki for extra attack full bab

JOry's first arrow, the one that usually flied true was a little off, but he adjusted for some better shots.
