Watch out for crocodiles, snakes, kangaroos, spiders and...well...it's Australia so pretty much any animal...

Say hi to the wombats for me.

![]() |

Greetings fellow sapients. I am going out of town on vacation starting tomorrow and not returning until Monday night. I likely won't read the forums in that time and even more likely won't post, but will try to catch up on everything by Tuesday. If you are in multiple games with me, prepare to read this portion of this message multiple times...
Chorizal will try to keep the port side of the ship toward the beast until the shields on there are down, then he'll show it the backside of the drake. He probably will not shift to the starboard since the gun on that side is short range and not particularly powerful.
His piloting modifier is +16.

I'm using J'Shun's 3rd Seeker of Knowledge replay for this chronicle.

All systems are go!
Also, we gotta talk about epaulette sharks. I know you guys like to do the most when it comes to things trying to kill you down in Australia but a shark that can walk on land? Come on!

![]() |

We all good for the final scenario in the series?
It is a 7-10!
Thanks for the Chronicles!
I am afraid Rastar has to bow out of the next one, as he is only level 6. But, I do have a level 9 mechanic I can bring if you like.

Because everything here is trying to kill us, and they are so intent on doing it that sea creatures will come ashore to hunt us down using their fins as feet.
I can deal with most things, but the real horror are the saltwater croodiles, but at least they keep the big shark population down - up to 6m/20' long, and they roll in groups.

J'Shun, is still level 7 for two more sessions. Adding a level 9 mechanic would be a good addition to the Kommandos. We've always been lacking in the skill sets where a mechanic is best.
Profession: Soldier: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27

Oh yeah, J'Shun is going to love him.

I think Vyviane is one off too. I'll see about a quick VTT game this weekend/Tuesday (it's a national holiday.) but if needed I can bring back Ceolor, the ranged Solarion.

Chivix, the laser rifle exotic dancer mechanic, and his AI pal Gravy are here!
Perhaps a little shorter than your average Shirren, Chivix has a mottled brown-black skin that often blends in well withthe dark recesses of a ships engineering bay. His bulging multi-faceted eyes can make some people a little leery at first, but his easy going and curious manner generally set them at ease. Where his shoulders meet his neck, Chivix has a small lump of plastiderm that houses the external portion of his exocortex, which he has proudly named Gravy, having been told by a mercenary on his first ship meant "Great Helper" in an ancient tongue. His left arm has a similar bulge on the underside, storing his custom rig and all the attachments for it.
Chivix was hatched on Akiton just outside of Khefak Depot, where his parents were part of a small junker collective of Shirren. He learned the junk trade as a hatchling, and his collective often spent time with a ysoki clan who were in the same business. Chivix grew up finding junk, fixing it up, and selling it for a profit. When he learned the basics of engineering - how to combine mechanics and electronics to form components that could actually do something - he was hooked for life. He spent his formative years growing his knowledge and understanding of engineering practices, then signed up with the first mercenary gang with a starship that would have him. He has bounced from ship to ship, always looking for the next adventure and keeping things running better than he found them. A chance encounter with a Starfinder pathseeker team showed Chivix the possibilities of traveling the universe, finding new and interesting artifacts, and getting paid well for it, all while being part of a group larger than a standard ship's company. Chivix just had to take a shot at it.

I was able to track down a game! Vyviane will be level 7 in the next day or so (just waiting on the chronicle sheet now.)

Right, Vyviane is ready!
And she has a few new toys.
First she got a turquoise cube aeon stone that lets her retroactively add +1 to a failed saving throw, attack roll or skill check to make a failure into a success once per day
And two she got some Force Soles that allow her to walk on air. So she can walk just about anywhere whether it be on the ceiling or walls or in mid-air.

![]() |

Just making sure, but you want to go clockwise right?

![]() |

Yes, I meant the government district. J'Shun, struggles to understand the basic movement of a clock, hahaha.

![]() |

It's the future (sort of) so maybe he's just used to digital.
And who knows, maybe Kasatha clocks go the other way.

![]() |

That's it Kasathan clocks always go the other way! I like how you can explain anything away by just saying it's the future, it's space, or it's alien in Starfinder.

![]() |

For what it's worth, Vesk, Ysoki and Lashunta clocks also go the other way. We all thing it's weird that Humans think that direction is clockwise, we just go along with it to humor them.
Also, I'm reminded of a father and son duo that I know from local cons. The father recently told us a story about his son and how it took him a longer time to learn which direction clockwise was because all the clocks but one in their house were digital and the one that was analog was a trick clock that ran backwards.

![]() |

That father is a sadist!

Chorus kids let loose in DC might be more dangerous than the bots we are fighting now!

![]() |

What was the weather like in DC?

![]() |

Mid-80s on Friday. Then mid-80s Sat morning before storms hit around 3. Dropped to about 70ish and then the winds kicked up. We actually spent Saturday at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Storms were so bad they closed the park an our early. We closed the place out, and were completely soaked by the time we got to the car. The driest spot on me was a quarter sized spot on my right hip on my underwear.
Riding roller coasters in a light rain isn't too bad. The last one though...the rain picked up and it felt like being continually hit in the face with airsoft pellets while being waterboarded. So much fun! :D

![]() |

Except for the rain it sounds like a fun trip!

J'Shun captain for now and Vyv gunner.
J'Shun can switch to gunner if needed and Vyv can fill a number of different roles if needed also.
