Occult was Paizo's answer to Psionics since there is, for some unknown reason, disdain for Psionics that has expanded decades since their creation.

Nothing wrong with Occult nor Dreamscarred Psionics and all the iterations before it.

If the GM and players know how to handle true Psionics, there are no problems.

Kev turns away from his saddle bags after fastening it and speaks to Cleo, "Maybe when the budget is available, you can hire faculty and staff for evening classes for adults?"

Then turns to his Sweet Katrina, and nods with an uneasy laugh, "Of course! I was more focused on worrying about herding undisciplined goats than thinking we need something to make fearful. Do we have any old goats past their prime about? And we should bring Ash anyway for his fighting prowess alone. In addition, if we can use him to scare the tied up goats without using a divine power saving it for more important situations, all the better?"

Kev then pivots to Quince, "Your majesty, she read that they have actual bodies that are barely visible globes of translucent spongy material. So they are tangible but just hard to see."

(Kev will take 64 arrows + 3 extra quivers for a total of 100 arrows in 5 quivers.)

Sorry all, I am going to try to post later today and/or tomorrow (a Holiday for me). It is the end of the year for us, so I am having to do personnel reviews, finish up end of the year deliverables, and yesterday, as well as today, I am helping my wife learn how to upgrade our authentication system from a very well known but complex IT vendor.

I did a search in Game Play, and it is actually at Hex 50. Hex 50 does look like a better place for a town, flat, grassland with river access. Hex 24 will most likely require cutting down trees and us worshipers of Erastil may not like that? ... lol

Before Quince arrives ...

Erastil Statue:
Kevros is very amazed with Katrina's transformation and blushes from her new beauty. After the statue is finished, Kevros lays down his buckler with the Holy Symbol of Erastil and his heavy Repeating Crossbow and looks at Katrina, "Please join me in a prayer to Erastil my love?" Kevros waits until they are both in front of the Statue, "Erastil, I pledge my Buckler, the Holy Symbol I crafted from my hands, my family's heavy repeating crossbow, my heart, my soul, and my hard work to your cause. I will return these lands to worship you..." He looks at Katrina, "I pledge to work hard in supporting and loving my family. And I pledge to build a Temple at this location in your honor using the statue that is here now as part of the temple. This I pledge!"

(This is when I would like to convert my character to Gestalt. Also, can our bows/crossbows grant Keen and be +1 instead of Arrows/Bolts?)

He then gets up, helps Katrina up on her feet, and then embraces her and gives her a nice long passionate kiss before collecting his gear. "We will also build a cottage here."

As Quince Arrives ...

Kevros checks to see how the tied up bandit is doing and starts to collect his bolts that he fired during the battle while flirting with Katrina, "No ... no ... Quince, we have been blessed by Erastil. As you can see, we have been busy." Kevros points to the statue, "Katrina and I plan to build both a Temple and a Cottage here or in the area."

You can load crossbows with blinding speed and even fire them in melee with little fear of reprisal.

Prerequisites: Dex 15, Point-Blank Shot, Rapid Reload, Rapid Shot.

Benefit: The time required for you to reload any type of crossbow is reduced to a free action, regardless of the type of crossbow used. You can fire a crossbow as many times in a full attack action as you could attack if you were using a bow. Reloading a crossbow for the type of crossbow you chose when you took Rapid Reload no longer provokes attacks of opportunity.

Special: Starting at 6th level, a ranger with the archery combat style may select Crossbow Mastery as a combat style feat.

Is it me or should they remove the part in the description that states "even fire them in melee with little fear of reprisal"? To me, that sounds like you can fire crossbows at point-blank until you read the benefit. I am guessing this is a two prong approach?

Crossbow Mastery and then Point-Blank Mastery (Weapon Specialization + the Feat) to be able to fire in melee w/o AoO?

At Uret Jet and Veronica:
Uret and V are you playing FO4 and the Automatron DLC. I purchased the DLC before it went up but haven't had chance to play it yet... lol It is crazy that Fallout 4 almost already has half as many mods as FONV and the GECK isn't even out yet!

As for Valerius, I am currently in the proofreading phase and then I will work on my character progression but that is not really important for recruitment.

Change the rank in Intimidate to Craft Bows

When Mhar gives Rai his armor, he blows low, holds the bow, "Argato Gozaimashita, this is really good armor!" Rai is very pleased with Mhar's workmanship and generosity and bows profusely while leaving to go don his new armor.

I wish we could have role played this more but it will do.
