About Mastigia FurMastigia Fur
Mastigia floats in midair angrily staring at his fine leather armor hoping that it would some how protect his incorporeal form like it did when he in the flesh. He then draws his rapier and it seems to become corporeal and then incorporeal by each eye twitch Mastigia makes. Mastigia is obviously an apparition of a tall and skinny rotting human male adult. Excluding the rapier he is holding, all of his possesions are currently incorporeal, a pickpocketer's suit, leather armor, leather back pack, a belt pouch, (2) bandoleers, a short bow, and a quiver with 20 arrows. Excluding his rapier and theives tools, the rest of Mastigia's gear is buried with him in an airtight grave. Mastigia's rotting appearance does not come from him decompsing, it comes from his outlook on life.
TIER 1 GHOST:
Incorporeal Subtype An incorporeal creature has no physical body. An incorporeal creature is immune to critical hits and precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage) unless the attacks are made using a weapon with the ghost touch special weapon quality. In addition, creatures with the incorporeal subtype gain the incorporeal special quality. Incorporeal Special Quality An incorporeal creature has no physical body. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, and spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities. It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally. An incorporeal creature has no natural armor bonus but has a deflection bonus equal to its Charisma bonus (always at least +1, even if the creature’s Charisma score does not normally provide a bonus). An incorporeal creature can enter or pass through solid objects, but must remain adjacent to the object’s exterior, and so cannot pass entirely through an object whose space is larger than its own. It can sense the presence of creatures or objects within a square adjacent to its current location, but enemies have total concealment (50% miss chance) from an incorporeal creature that is inside an object. In order to see beyond the object it is in and attack normally, the incorporeal creature must emerge. An incorporeal creature inside an object has total cover, but when it attacks a creature outside the object it only has cover, so a creature outside with a readied action could strike at it as it attacks. An incorporeal creature cannot pass through a force effect. An incorporeal creature’s attacks pass through (ignore) natural armor, armor, and shields, although deflection bonuses and force effects (such as mage armor) work normally against it. Incorporeal creatures pass through and operate in water as easily as they do in air. Incorporeal creatures cannot fall or take falling damage. Incorporeal creatures cannot make trip or grapple attacks, nor can they be tripped or grappled. In fact, they cannot take any physical action that would move or manipulate an opponent or its equipment, nor are they subject to such actions. Incorporeal creatures have no weight and do not set off traps that are triggered by weight. An incorporeal creature moves silently and cannot be heard with Perception checks if it doesn’t wish to be. It has no Strength score, so its Dexterity modifier applies to its melee attacks, ranged attacks, and CMB. Nonvisual senses, such as scent and blindsight, are either ineffective or only partly effective with regard to incorporeal creatures. Incorporeal creatures have an innate sense of direction and can move at full speed even when they cannot see. Lesser Grave Trappings (SU) The ghost died with a strong attachment to a specific item or set of objects. A ghost with this ability may choose a number of items it died with equal to its 1/2 Charisma modifier to carry with it into death. The ghost continues to be able to use and benefit from these spectral duplicates just as though they were the real things. Weapons and armor are treated as having the ghost touch special ability, while other items act as being incorporeal themselves and can be manipulated by the ghost. Regardless of the type of object, all selected items are treated as being part of the ghost’s form and cannot be disarmed or removed from the ghost (even by the ghost). Should a ghost be destroyed, its equipment reappears with it upon rejuvenating. (CR +0) Occasionally, and at the GM’s discretion, the transition into death might imbue a single ghostly item with strange powers, granting it powers comparable to a magic item suited to the ghost’s character level. In addition, Grave Trappings (Full) Power must be taken at the next tier. BACKGROUND:
Mastigia was once human spy known by another name but Mastigia Fur was his cover name and it is the only name that matters to him now. Mastigia was a spy for an honorable nation before the fall of Land of Dalune, fell in love with an opposing spy, and she with him. The opposing ruler set them both up for a heinous death in the Dalune. The ruler was successful and Mastigia, who was known by another name back then, vowed he would one day get vengeance. Mastigia was the victim of a set up and quick heinous murder. At one time, he was a good nature spy who served his nation patriotically but over time he has been twisted by undeath and vengeance. Mastigia's rotten appearance is fueled by this undeath and vengeance. Hero Lab and the Hero Lab logo are Registered Trademarks of LWD Technology, Inc. Free download at http://www.wolflair.com
