I'd offer to GM the bounty that I wrote
Sounds fun. I'd be up for it after these whenever you have the time.

That's the only bounty that I've never played...

You have not played Cat's Cradle? How about the rest of you? It would have been Bounty 4.

I did't know I could change aliases, cool
edit: I feel naked without a pic, how do I change my profile one? I can only change Ashun's
Well, B12 was my first PFS adventure, and my second PF2e game ever. So I'd say probably not. Never played it.

Yeah, I have about nine of them.
You can change your main account's avatar from the "My Account" menu at the top of this page -> Account Settings -> the Message Boards settings box -> Change Your Avatar button.
You can also change the avatar for any of your aliases from that page too, but from the Messageboards Aliases box instead and the Edit button there.

Remember Doug's post in your thread, Ashun?

I'm new and really lost.
~~ Ash*Yeah, PFS is really confusing for new players. You're not alone.
In addition to all the other people giving you help, I have some resources that can help you get acquainted with the quirky Paizo website:
⠀1. An Organized play 101 that walks you through account creation.
⠀2. My Play by Post guide walks you through he mechanical process of character registration, alias, and profile creation (with pictures!)
⠀3. An Avatar gallery of all the avatar images on the Paizo forums. Makes it easier to peruse all your options and quickly locate your avatar off choice on the Paizo website.Welcome.
His Avatar gallery is an easier way to browse the avatars because it doesn't time out. Find the one you want, note its page number, and then go back to account settings on the Paizo site. Edit your alias, and then select an avatar. Go to the page number you wrote down, and you'll find the alias you want and select it.
I've been using it for avatar selection for all my characters now. It's also worth taking a look at his Play by Post guide.

Nope. Never played it. I've read through it but that was a while ago.

What is 'Bounty 4'? Bounty adventure for 4th level characters?
Given we just did bounty 12, I suppose it's the fourth bounty.
GM Tiger

Rinshu, since you're still up -- Loompecker is up in our other game.
GM Tiger

Strangely enough, I've never seen B4 offered. The only time it was offered was for Gameday XI last year. And I missed out on the last seat... I suppose I can prep to run it... that'll be a GM exam (though I've had a bounty author play his own adventure before).

This is so cursed. I love it.
I find it to be smurfingly smurfed.

Did you play this with the original riddle, Rinshu? And please don't mention what the riddle was about.
Cath Gerbaine

Considering that I've only played one game in PFS so far, I think I should be able to play it without any knowledge!
GM Tiger

I've read B4 some time ago because I was planning to run it. I do remember the original riddle so I'll be quiet.
Picturing a Dalek at a tavern consoling a distraught man instead of trying to vaporize him (and everyone else) is a bit strange...

I like that.
This party is so much different from what I'm used to play with/DM for, such a breath of fresh air.
It's nice, y'all are awesome.
Anyway, it's 3 am and I think I'm going to try napping for a bit.

I think Bitty Blue would love Bun Helsing... :)
Ashun

I have a poppet done too, It's a champion that was wished to life by a grieving child.
But I don't have enough points for it in PFS, unfortunately. /sad
edit: Actually, that doesn't fit Ashun, I'll rewrite it. Sorry.
edit 2: There, a bit better.
GM Tiger

Oh that's right -- Dar Lek's human actually ran a game for a group of us some time ago... we were all poppets, except one...

Soon everyone taking out their weapons getting ready for combat
Then there's Ashun with his iguana.
Reminds me of this
Oh well. I have days to write another one.
I like riddles, they can be fun. Even though I usually have to use elementary school level ones when DMing for my players...

Hehe ... how about Starlight Sparkle? ((unicorn poppet)) I want someone to run The Arclord Who Never Was so Starlight can carry the skull around.
I'm playing it now -- so let's see how complex it is. If it's straightforward, maybe I can run it...

I agree, I had to run it cold for the local group. It was a lot of fun.

As for the chronicles, I just need to keep that file somewhere. Somewhere public like Bitty has? Or do I just need to be able to show it to someone who asks?
How you organize chronicle stuff is up to you.
I like to keep a public file of chronicles ready. Bitty's chronicle folder is even linked from her character sheet (you can find it under the PFS spoiler.) I've actually had GMs look over my chronicles and notice that I've played something that pertains to another adventure, and use that in a game.
You'll note that mine is organized. All the chronicles appear in numeric order, and have been renamed to indicate the adventure in which they have been earned. This is intentional. I got tired of never being able to find anything when I wanted to be able to scan chronicle sheets.)
This numbering system matches the chronicle numbers in Bitty's ITS, or Item Tracking Sheet.
That's where I keep track of purchases, how much XP and Rep I have, and (on the second page) whether my character is liked by any factions and how many XP I need until the next level.
If I used the third page of the spreadsheet, I could keep track of my bulk and encumbrance, but I have been too lazy to fill that out yet.
If you want an ITS of your own, my boyfriend Bret made this spreadsheet:
I would suggest organizing your PFS information early (when you have only one character and one PFS adventure under your belt is the BEST time) because then you won't be caught later going, "What level is my swashbuckler again?" when you have a dozen characters ranging from Level One to Level Ten.
Corabee Cori

OK, great. Good information there.
I'll at least list out the adventures completed in my profile.
And I like the ITS spreadsheet idea. I'll probably create my own and tinker with it extensively ;)
I'm not sure about having a dozen active characters. I think my mental limit on keeping them loaded in my mind is about 3 to 4.
Bitty Blue
|
They're not all active at once. Pip only gets to play in high-level stuff now, and Jinglemane has to wait until Bret is able to play Kit.
Right now I am only actively playing three characters in PBP:
Bitty Blue
Tess of Tosof
Chance the Fortunaut
Everyone else needs to wait until I get bandwidth, or another chance to play in person. This does not happen often for me, because I GM a lot. So I am only tracking 3 right now, but the active three change!
Ashun

I'd love to have more characters to play since I love trying out new builds and writing their stories, but I still need to get more comfortable with the system before venturing further.

I finally managed to report my game with the help of Bigrin. Seems there was a fault in the Guest GM submission form which has now been fixed.
As for record keeping, everything is on text files which are updated after each game. I also have a spreadsheet which contains the log for each PC and who they have played with. It also tracks ACP which matched Paizos until a few weeks ago when it suddenly slipped, and I haven't been able to find out why, even after checking all my ACP purchases (8 down in PFS2, 16 down in Starfinder) I'm still looking when I have time.
As for Chronicles, each character has their own folder under the main character folder. The text file for each PC also has an adventure log in it which records all the ins and outs. It is supposed to match each Chronicle. Paper Chronicles get scanned and stored in a physical folder I can take to conventions etc. Digital ones get printed, any relevant transactions written on them and also put in the physical folder.
Maybe I'll have a look at your system Hmm. It's interesting to see how other's do things. Mine is a bit old fashion still.
Another text file is wee there is a summary of each PC's level and what games I want to play with them when they come up.
