The "sword with magical glitter" made me laugh... then I remembered that I did use it in the game with Macondi :)
Yeah, you started it ;) . That sword and the scroll with half of a short story on it were results of a failed search roll. And were both a lot of fun to play with.

Use the post I referenced and have Sam find an unfinished story about Bitty/Barak :)

I generally do silly stuff like that... it makes it more entertaining... At a recent game I had a leshy monk nicknamed "Brocc". I had a failed scrolls check find a recipe for "Broccoli and Cheese"

Ashun, Organized Play generally does not allow familiars or other minions to aid their masters in skill checks, as usually each player is supposed to have only one skill check
I'm curious. But doesn't the most Aid can do is add a +1 if the creature aiding succeeds in the test? Instead of it being a second chance roll for the master?
The result of Bea helping would make my 27 a 28, that it. Isn't it?Either way, I didn't know. I'll change Bea's abilities after this one.
Thanks ~

Yeah, I am hoping that the Remaster tunes up Familiars and what they are able to do during exploration mode. Because right now it is rather undefined and there are plenty of people - as well as PFS - that basically don't let them actually do anything. I have talked in circles with Graystone on that more than a couple of times.
They are currently for role-play and battery powers only. Battery powers like 'spell battery', 'familiar focus', and other such things. I'm not even sure if PFS would allow them to use Speech, Independent, and a sense option like tremorsense to be an early warning or creature detection feature - since that would mean the familiar is using an exploration activity of their own.

I'll try reciting something with occult/religion next post. Just felt that it didn't made enough sense for me to just run towards the hag trying to trap her since the potions and poisons were already close by.
And even if I really really wanted to roll for Recall Knowledge, now is not the time (specially considering I have already rolled twice for recall recently)

Does Command work on the Swarm? No, right?
Swarms usually have Swarm Mind, so I wouldn't expect so.

I will finish this game out for you, and then I'm going to ask you to please find another group for your next game.

Hey all, I'm assuming at this point that if Cath comes back, it'll be as a player. As such, we need to redo RPG Chronicles.

The funny thing was - the trashy novel was something I used before in a game I ran on Discord. I didn't expect you to mention it at the end (which is what inspired the 'Adventures of Bitisururu Blue')... :)

It is late and I am heading to bed shortly. I'll come up with something for dialog with Sam in the morning.
Konbu, do you have a shape for the weapon that you would like? Trident? Spear? Thaumaturge uses 1-hand up-to-martial weapons if I remember correctly.

![]() |

Now you’ve gave me inspiration to flesh out Sam’s backstory. I’ll do that when I get home and back in front of my computer…

GM Hmm |

It won't be a better one. The weapons room is done divulging striking weapons.

Ashun, when you get to Level 3, you should consider purchasing a spellheart or two. That way, you'll always have an offensive cantrip on you!

![]() |

No one wanted the striking dagger i got *snif snif* :C
I guess I'll have to give them to Bea.

Ooh! Those look fun. I didn't know about them.
I'm going to start saving for it after buying a better healer's tools and alchemist's lab.
![]() |

The nice thing about them is that you can use them to grab a cantrip outside your spellcasting tradition, so they're really great for divine casters.

![]() |

It should also be less of a problem once Player Core arrives with Spirit damage instead of Alignment damage. Divine tradition itself should have some reasonable offense Cantrips at that point.

![]() |

That is true. Still, it is nice to have a diversity of energy types at your disposal!

I think I'm going to change the format of my botting spoiler. I used a different format for some others that's a bit easier to read...

Bee takes the practice sword to the practice fields and tries to help some of the new recruits. It doesn't go well since he is a bit exhausted from the frequent battling in the library.

It feels so weird talking sometimes since Ashun doesn't use apostrophes.
Specially considering I suck at english @_@

Back to crafting my potions

Your English is better than my Spanish is.
Edit to clarify: I took Spanish in high school for a couple of years. I can occasionally recognize a word or two when I see them printed. I can say a couple of stupid phrases that I have mostly memorized. And I can't speak or understand spoken Spanish at all.

![]() |

Are you a native Spanish speaker, Ashun? If not, what is your native tongue? I think you speak very well. Of course, we're all beat on the language front by the effortlessly bilingual Uncle Froggy.

GM Hmm |

Also, since you are Field Commissioned, can you give me a second roll for your remaining 4 days, Ashun?

Native Brazilian, so portuguese is my mother tongue (admittedly, just as bad a my English)
Although I do know a bit of Spanish and French.

There are a lot of Brazilians in Organized Play! I know Spanish and French (and a few other languages) but no Portuguese.

GM Hmm |

You have esoteric lore. Roll it for me, please.

While I do admit that playing in Portuguese might've been easier, I don't regret in the slightest having you all as fellow pathfinders.
Quite the fun group and awesome teachers.I know Spanish and French (and a few other languages) but no Portuguese.
You're practically halfway there. Since romantic languages are somewhat similar, just add a few extra diacritics and unnecessary flair and you're mostly done d:

Yeah, I could make myself understood in Italy quite easily the last time I was there. My Spanish is pretty terrible (I learned it on the library desk when talking to patrons, and now have had to spend time correcting my awful grammar with DuoLingo) but fluent. I communicate like a shameless yet intelligent 2 year old.
I'm currently studying Spanish and ASL.

Sam heads for the shelves where Nob found more dinosaur stories. Unfortunately, these refer to a purple dinosaur that has nothing to do with her heroine.

Wha??
The only Spanish I know is from Sesame Street. Though Filipino (Tagalog) is essentially a heavily mangled form of Spanish. The Spaniards ruled the Philippines for the better part of 100 years - so it's not unusual for the language to rub off. A major thoroughfare downtown is "Rizal Avenue". Yet it is still referred to as "Avenida" (from Avenida Rizal).

So what's next? :)

Chronicle looks good! Thanks GM!

Tagalog/English still definitely qualifies as bilingual.
