Move to I5. Lightning blade, dragging Brathus to H6, 1d20+6=18 vs Fortitude; Damage 1d6+6=7 lightning damage

Barthus completely ignores Brujo's words and his attack.
"I cannot be dragged around as easily as that." he remarks.
The creaking from the four surrounding coffins grows louder.
Please note that although for some reason Photobucket isn't showing the colours at all well, that Leo is bloodied.

Perigia's magic missiles explode forcefully into Barthus, and although Snaggletooth's aim improves his dagger still fails to penetrate. The vampire is coming under pressure and you catch the faintest hint of relief in his eyes as the coffin lids swing back and disgorge creatures of nightmare. Fanged and clawed monstrosities advance on you.
"Ah - do meet the family."

Cut and run vs V1 1d20+8=26, 1d6+3=6
Fairwind says casually, "I ain't much for social occasions," and springs to the attack, casually stabbing one of the spawn.
Rev DM
Fairwind hacks ineffectually at Barthus, distracted by the shock of Leo's attack and the horror of the desecrated ground beneath her feet. Nimbly shifting away, she takes vengeance on the newly risen vampire spawn, felling it before it can do any harm.
V1 is dead.
Necrotic damage from desecrated ground (1d6 3=4). 4hp necrotic damage to Fairwind.
The other spawn flex their nails and head for the nearest foes. Brujo ducks deftly aside from V2. V3 heads for Perigia, doom glowing in its eyes, but terror gives the mage reactions she didn't know she had and the genasi dodges. V4 moves to flank his master and attacks Commander Caine. Bolstered by Barthus presence, the nails rake downwards, leaving evil, festering matter in Caine's flesh.
V4 v Caine - 5hp necrotic on hit (7hp necrotic to bloodied target). (1d20 11=27). Should have been extra +2 to hit due to flanking, but it's a hit anyway. 5hp necrotic to Caine
In agony, Leo responds to Barthus gentle gesture and shifts a step towards Commander Caine, unable to control himself.
Save v domination (1d20=8)
Damage from desecrated ground (1d6 3=7). 7hp necrotic damage to Leo. That takes you back to 9 by my calculations.
Barthus is bloodied, it just isn't showing up very well. Make that at all.

This got a little complex. If I've made a nonsense of anyone's intentions this turn, please tell me, but I've tried to make sense of it.
Brujo - you were trying to pull Barthus into your own space, so I took a guess that you'd shifted first and put you at H4. As a result of that I also had to move Caine to H5. Leo, being dominated, does not take an OA, the Vampire Spawn does, but I reckoned that was the sort of risk Caine would take.
Brujo's sword throws out a line of lightning and hauls the vampire towards him. Barthus stumbles slightly as he finds his footing again and just maintains his benign smile.
"So anxious to join me? You only had to ask."
Snaggletooth skitters around the desecrated zone and flips another dagger at the nearest spawn. Once again it misses and the kobold goes bug-eyed with horror as he realises his action has done nothing but draw attention to himself.
Commander Caine breathes deeply as the desecrated zone takes its toll on him once more and throws himself after the vampire. As he moves, the flanking spawn rakes at him once more with filthy nails, but this time misses. Another mighty blow strikes Barthus.
Desecrated ground damage to Caine (1d6 3=4). 4hp necrotic damage to Caine from desecrated ground.
Caine, Barthus and Leo are all bloodied.

Cronin, seeing his opportunity, bows his head in prayer, then raises it, glaring at Barthus, eyes blazing. A burst of silver light emanates from Cronin 10' in all directions.
He then steps back and shouts, "Prostrate yourself before Selune," forcing Barthus prone.
Turn Undead vs Will - B, V2, V4 (1d20+6=20, 1d20+6=7, 1d20+6=22, 1d10+6=14) 20 vs. Barthus's will, probably not, but 14 radiant, immobilize him, and push him 1 square left; miss V2, probably dust v4.
Shift one square right. AP - Command re Barthus
Command vs B's will (1d20+6=26) Crit for no damage, sigh. I think it still does the extra d6, though, as far as I can tell. Barthus is dazed and prone.Crit damage (1d6=1) untyped, I guess, so 1hp
Rev DM
Cronin, is the immobilisation save ends or to the end of your next turn?
Cronin's goddess wrecks devastation on the vampires. Barthus is thrust to the ground and pinned by forces beyond his control. He is looking significantly less urbane. Meanwhile the power of Selune simply too much for V4 and the spawn explodes as rays of divine light hit it.

Fairwind snarls, "Laugh this up, toothy," as she skewers one of his minions.
Rev DM
Apologies Cronin, and amended. I hope.
For all her bravura words, neither of Fairwind's attacks hit her targets. Leo suffers yet more damage as the polluted ground eats into his flesh and Barthus simply smiles at him. "Kill the warlord. He bothers me."
Horror in his face, Leo finds his muscles tensing and with a single, fatal blow, drops Caine to the floor. Perhaps the appalling wrong he has been forced to commit strengthens his will, as he manages to break out of the vampire's grasp at last.
V2 draws lingering claws over Fairwind's face, pulling her towards it in an obscene parody of seduction. "So pretty, so cutting." This spawn seems to have inherited some of Barthus's social skills.
Perigia suffers the same fate, as V3 pursues her, reaching towards her beguilingly and stroking hideous nails into the mage's arm.
Necrotic damage to Leo (1d6 3=6)
Dominated Leo attack on Caine (1d20 8=27, 1d8 4=12). 12hp damage to Commander Caine. If my calculations are correct, he is at -3.
Leo himself is not in great shape. Please can you confirm his hp status? I have him on 3hp. He is no longer dominated, but is still dazed (save ends) and can take only one action on his turn.
V2 v Fairwind (5hp on hit, 7hp on bloodied target) (1d20 11=22). 5hp damage to Fairwind
V3 v Perigia (5hp on hit, 7hp v bloodied target) (1d20 11=18). 5hp damage to Perigia
To sum up. Caine is dying. Leo is on 3hp. Barthus is prone, immobilised, dazed and bloodied.

Please note that Barthus is not helpless. However, should he become so and for anyone wishing to try CdG, I am putting the rules here.
Coup de Grace: Standard Action
- Helpless Target You can deliver a coup de grace against a helpless enemy adjacent to you. Use any attack power you could normally use against the enemy, including a basic attack. Hit You score a critical hit.
- Slaying the target outright: If you deal damage greater than or equal to the target's bloodied value, the target dies.
Just to let you all know, none of you have the capability to slay Barthus outright.
Brujo
Greenflame blade on Brathus 1d20+8=27;Damage 1d8+5=9 cold/fire damage, all adjacent enemies take 2 fire damage.
Rev DM
Brujo's blow wrecks more havoc on Barthus's immaculate outfit. One of his smaller wounds heals over.
"You are insolent and you annoy me greatly. Learn manners from me and rid me of that turbulent priest," he comments gravely and politely from his prone position.
Recharge rolls for Domination and Desecrated Ground (1d6=6, 1d6=2). Domination recharges, Desecrated Ground does not.
Domination attempt v Will on Brujo (1d20 9=17). Brujo goes under. He and Fairwind can make OAs on Barthus.

Domination is an ongoing effect. Your scar will start to flare at the beginning of your next turn. At the beginning of your turn, please roll an unmodified d20. On a 10 or above, you can use the spellscarred at will power of your choice. Once you recover from the domination, it will be part of your standard powers. The domination allows your scar freedom to manifest. Once you've picked, that's the power.

Checking the available spellscarred power there are no at-will powers. Only encounter/utility/daily only. Would I be able to gain an encounter power instead, even though I can't use it currently? If not that's fine. I find it odd that the spellscarred feat counts as a multiclass feat, but does not grant any at-will abilites. Kind of a weak feat. (I guess one could always make or edit other classes at-will to be spellscarred powers though).
Sidenote, I'm kinda looking forward to playing pawn of our vampire friend. Though I'm sure the others won't enjoy it ^_^

Brujo
Hmm. You're quite right. For some reason I thought there was an at-will in there. Take an encounter power. I just thought that having your mind taken over by someone else was the perfect opportunity for your scar to activate as you wouldn't be able to concentrate on keeping it under control.
Same rules. You now have - or will do, if you recover - the new power. Once the domination breaks, you'll be dazed (save ends). At that point, roll the d20 at the start of each turn and on a 10 of above, you'll have the option to use the new Spellscarred encounter power as your action while dazed.
Commander Caine
There should be enough healing in the party to get you back on your feet. Barthus is otherwise engaged at the moment, and he's the one who might chow down on a fallen foe.
Rev DM
Perigia lashes out and somehow, her staff catches the spawn in a vulnerable spot. To both of their astonishment, it crumbles to nothingness before her eyes.
Snaggletooth moves determinedly down the room, squints his eyes, flicks yet another dagger and dances ecstatically as it hits, removing the last of the spawn.
"Killed a dead thing! Promotion for sure now! Him next!" - he points jubilantly at Barthus, who does not seem noticeably perturbed by the downfall of his offspring.
"Really, I must turn a higher calibre of person. They were unworthy of your time and my attention. Accept an apology, I beg you."

Cronin's divine power does its deadly work yet again as Barthus shrivels a little more beneath the righteous fury of Selune's vessel.

Fairwind curses fluently and eloquently as her normal expertise deserts her. Leo groans as his mind returns to him, but the desecrated zone he is standing is too much for the paladin and he slumps to the floor.
A satisfied smile passes over Barthus's face as he rises to his feet, no longer immobilised. The aura of desecration fades from around Leo, its horrible work done.
"I promised you education - let nobody accuse of failing to keep my word. Well done, little one, well done." Soft applause accompanies Brujo's efforts. "The priest next, if you please."

"Not this time ice-maiden."
Perigia's icy rays cascade harmlessly off the vampire. Caught short by the turn of events, Snaggletooth nervously fingers yet another dagger, and hurls it ineffectually at Barthus.
Barthus doesn't even look around. "You have courage, little reptile. Your education is overdue, but really, why would I bother to teach such as you?"
Snaggletooth glares and then looks terrified at his own temerity.
