No I am giving you the choice of using your current characters in a new starting run for this campaign or the one she originally made which I might end up running later on as a 3rd Shadowrun Camapaign.
Basically the original idea was you use 400BP with 50 as the limits on Qualities. Storywise you would have been caught on a run, hopefully one that simply was you guys wanting some milspec equipment, your captors would give you a deal you can't refuse then you would get 100BP worth of Nuyen (500,000¥) to buy gear with no restrictions.
Basically your characters would get burned then built back up from nothing via the first run.

Ah, ok, no, I don't feel like remaking him, so my vote is go as it is.
If we were going to do a game like that, I'd have rather had us start RP as either captured, or more preferred, recruited by the corp. The run a test and after we got the mcguffin, they call us off and explain it was a test, with the Mr. Johnson on site to clear things up.
But now, I would rather just go with the characters we have. remaking yet again feels like KP duty. An assignment that is specifically so bad that regulations forbid giving it for punishment, but yet is given out routinely for punishment duty.

Sorry... Hmm... I might still have you guys dealing with Olympus given the stats for them are still mostly available for them.
Also anyone know of a good way to represent the Power Armour & Landmates from Appleseed?
On a side note Wednesday I should have the mission brief for the continue as is path done.

mdt |

I don't know what to say at this point then.
Do whatever you want for the game, you're running it. If I don't want to play in it, no big deal, you can find other players. Sorry, I just don't know what you want at this point.

'Redline' |

There is some personal mobility vehicles in the arsenal that could represent power armour (with some modifications, like personal armour etc).
I have to agree with mdt - while I don't really mind making characters I don't feel like making yet another iteration :P

Shadowrun does not lend itself to people who like making characters. Even with an application to help. :) It's a giant pain with a program, and torture without.
3rd was slightly better, given it was a priority system only, and the calculation of what you had and what you could get were easier, at least for me. I could make a shadowrun character in about, oh, an hour in 3rd, regardless of the type.

Lessah |

I could probably churn out a character in 4th ed in less then an hour (without backstory, that shit takes time!). But then I would realize halfway trough session 1 2 3 ect that I forgot some crucial part or gear or something :P
Sadly I've never played 3rd ed - so I wouldn't know. But I did play the Shadowrun Returns game (which is said to be based on an earlier edition) but I'm not sure if it is supposed to be the 3rd ed (and its probably heavily dumbed down and modified anyway :P).

Mister Fixer |

Sorry for the lack of posts this past week. The guy who couched me in baseball and got me first into these types of games died last Sunday and well lets just say it has been one hell of a week.
It will probably be a bit before I can get the gameplay thread up as I am a little loopy from the pain meds... (Done something to my elbow and shoulder in the game we played yesterday as part of his funeral.)
On a side note I guess it depends on people. I have so many basic concepts I can create 15 different characters and still have plenty left over to create more before re-using one of them. Oh that is with each character taking 45-60 Minutes each. 5E I can cut that down to about 30-45 Minutes.

Mister Fixer |

Meh, for a guy in his 70s he was living his dream to the end.
Sorry for not posting sooner unfortunately when I finally found the time to post we discovered we lost our internet do to not being able to pay a past bill.
A quick detail though is expect only one post on this campaign from me per week but hope for more. I will most likely be more able to post towards the weekends though.
Now to find my notes for this campaign.

Mister Fixer |

Okay I need to redo some stuff do to a rules conflict I just discovered.
So you guys have until tomorrow to finalize anything for your characters. Given the fact that there will be the following books added to the campaign sources.

Gun H(e)aven 2
Gun H(e)aven 3
Attitude
The Way of the Adept
Digital Grimoire

If you have any requests for books that I might could hunt down a PDF of feel free to suggest them.
Non-Campaign Discussion:
Who the hell is Plan 9 in the Shadowrun Universe?

Bob Chen |

no idea DM who he is :)
Plan 9 posted the Evo chapter in Corporate Guide.
I don't know if this is accurate but he comes across as young and impressionable. It is clear that he's received so much Evo (and Yamatetsu previously?) implants and is such a fan of their work that the company philosophy has completely won him over. It makes sense; he has clearly entrusted his body to them time and again. Other Jackpointers (well, Snopes) are quick to point out his lack of impartiality and FastJack threatens to ban him from further main contributions if continued to weave pro-Evo spin in his article.
In the Mitsuhama chapter, he fails to grasp the sarcasm in the expression, "...the corp we all know and love." and comments on it right away, which adds to my impression of youthfulness/naivete.

Mister Fixer |

To me he seems more of a face changer than being young but by changing faces and personalities so many times it has caused him to develop multiple personalities that reside in the back of his mind.
And is it bad that all I can think whenever I see the Corporate Guide is the part where Netcat morning sickness thing...

Bob Chen |

Bob values his survival after all he is part of an engendered and hunted species.
he tries to be careful in covering his tracks.
Outside of that he is a rather joyful person to be around and doesn't skrink away from fighting.
he enjoy making things with his own hands etc...

Mister Fixer |

It would have helped if I hadn't got the notes mixed up between the 4E & 5E Camaigns. I am reworking them to where they are doing the onne meant for this one and you guys are doing the one they were meant to do.
BTW: I am sorry, I am so, very sorry.
Loads a Splash Minigrenade loaded with KE-IV into a Grenade Launcher amidst sounds of chittering.

'Redline' |

It is okay by me : )
If you feel like trying this again, I'm all for it. I don't think I'm going to leave the paizo boards anythime soon!
I hope your matter resolves in the most efficient and painless way possible! Good luck : )
