About Bob Chen
Back of Bob:
Setsuna spent his early childhood years blissfully ignorant of his heritage, his surroundings, and his family's rocky situation. His mother and father found each other in the midst of upheaval, revolution, and familial disputes, falling in love. However, as with any two people who are steeped in tradition do, they both tried to assert themselves with regard to which direction Setsuna upbringing should go. His mother insisted that he be taught calligraphy, diplomacy, and be educated on the finer points of culture to represent her mother's proud clan. His father believed that he should be schooled in the ways of the warrior, learned in the art of the sword, in order to fight. What Setsuna was not told, however, was that they were not even from the same region nor even completely human, and had in fact been on opposing sides of their family's conflicts, with very contradicting traditions and goals. It meant that, no matter his upbringing and accomplishments, it was likely that he would always be known as an outsider in the provinces, due to his "impure" blood.
In the end, they could not agree, and despite their bond, the subject always left them inflamed and enraged at each other beyond all reason.
As a small child, Setsuna never understood, but as his formative years continued, he began to grasp the basics of the dispute, of strife of sorrow. Eventually, he came up with a surprising solution: he ran away.
How a child in his teens survived , no one is quite sure.
But before long a few years at best he has been blessed with the powers of the Fortune of War.
Armed with a commanding presence and the tools to defend himself Setsuna would never let anything or anyone determine his fate
