Still didn't find group tests unfortunately.

I am almost finished with Lyst. I brushed up on hacking last night and saw that my numbers were off. Going to hopefully finish up tonight.

There are skillcaps in 4ed? Is that only for group tests or have I missed something major?

Thanks for the heads up on the character sheet. I guess I was in to much of a hurry when I posted it last night.

I'll see if I can get something easier to use up in the next few days.

I read up on group tests. The assisting characters' hits are added as a dice pool to the main PC's own dice pool. But a PC can only get bonus dice up to his skill rating.

Bad News:

I am sorry but something happened this past weekend and I no longer have the 4E books. I currently don't have the money to get them back so unfortunately I can't run the 4E Campaign anymore.

Now I can restart the 5E to create a Supergroup with those interested, I can start a A Song of Ice & Fire (ASoI&F) RPG Campaign, which I have 1 interested party in, or if I can get a Co-GM I can run a Pathfinder RPG Campaign.

Again we are very sorry for this.

Do you still have your 3rd edition books? If so, then I'd be fine with restarting as 3rd edition, just remake the characters. I actually really like 3rd.

Bummer, sorry to hear you are having issues.

I will bow out from the 5th edition game, but thanks for making the offer.

I never had 3E... I have seen them but didn't have any... At least not that I remember.

Sorry to hear that. Recently had a computer thrown away due to a miscommuncation that had several hundred dollars worth of gaming PDFs on it. I feel your pain.

I'll pass on the 5th ed game, though I might come by scratching after I pick up the books, seein' if you need players. Best of luck, to you and everyone else.

Well, honestly I wanted to play Dorjan, and I put in Mina to help, since you were taking on two games and it looked like you needed the help.

Since it looks like you'll have only one game, and won't need an assistant, and since I really don't feel like remaking Dorjan in 5th... I think I'll just bow out. I had fun for as long as it lasted, and good luck with the 5th ed game.

You can buy the 3rd edition PDFs here. CRB is 18.40, most of the supplements are 4 to 12 bucks.

Depends... If you were to take I trip to Sweden and took a beer or two with me I could just hand them to you since, IIRC, fileshareing is not illegal here if it is between 'close friends' (or family, but adoptions is overkill for pdfs ...) ^^

Good News!: I sold my soul to the Devil's Daughter and have access to most of the books on the front page! Unfortunately I don't have access to Augmentation just yet. But I only have those books for this game.

Also I recommend reworking your characters for those books and woring together to have a party that can handle anything I throw at you. Or more specifically everything she makes to throw at you.

A Rigger with a lot of Combat and Recon Drones would be my number one suggestions. Plus a Street Samurai Tank...

3rd edition or 4th edition?

4th Edition. It is what she is wanting to run after her ASoI&F Campaign ends and wants to see how a group of veteran players do against her challenges. This means she will be giving you the runs and me arbitrating the actions that fall out.

She will also be helping with the 5th Edition Campaign as well.

A quick warning: A smart and quick thinking player can keep a character alive but a stupid player will have so many dead characters it is ridiculous in her campaigns. Though characters like Bullet Catcher in the 5E game can survive as well. At least as long as they don't think they can stop a Panther Assault Cannon.

And example of that is the fact that we just finished our second session of ASoI&F and I am already on my 4th Character. (We already have someone with 10 Dead characters. But he was playing the idiotic knights with more pride than brains...)

Ah, ok, so basically, recreate characters with a new GM. *sigh* I think I'll pass, i'm having some bad luck in games recently. I just dropped from a game I was liking because one of the other players kept picking at every post I made in discussion to the point where I snapped at the GM for a perfectly valid ruling. I'm not sure I have the patience right now to rebuild characters again, it took me almost 12 hours to get those two up and running as they were.

Oh no you will just need to change some of the stuff that I no longer have access to. I am still the GM. It is just the Co-GM likes challenges. Though even as you are now everything will be possible, if a little more difficult...

I guess I made her sound worse than possible...

I should note that the first mission you will be given this time will have a pay-off of 100,000¥ Each and I think 30 Karma... She is also very generous on the rewards front in exchange for throwing some seemingly hopeless situations.

Doesn't Augmentation take out most of the cyber? I have that book and can answer specifics about the equipment in it.

Augmentation will mainly take out the alternate cyber implants. The core rules cover most of the Cyberware.

Augmentation expands it with Nanoware, Genetech, and a few others.

Plus Augmentation will only be out til around the 5th of next month.

Well, as far as I can tell, Dorjan is clean as is. Didn't actually use anything from there, I don't think.

To be honest the rewards sound a little too high. I'm not as familiar with leveling up in 4th as I was 3rd, it I remember the Harlequin's back adventure giving out roughly 50, and that was for the whole thing...equivalent of several runs.

I don't me to sound ungrateful, and I'm interested in continuing (especially at the prospect of being able to rework Mr. Smiles as I missed out on some basic stuff), but ill be honest this is causing red flag syndrome.

How soon would you want replenished characters?

Yeah - that means we don't use augmentation that much. Just don't give the challenger any ideas about background count or something that silly :P

Yepp - except Noise is mainly 5th edition.

Background count (this is the short version) reduces your available magic with their number. So Stag would go from magic 5 (and 5 pp) to magic 2 (and 2 pp) in an area with Background count 3. Unless it is aspected and aligned to his tradition (which he has none, so though luck :P)

But no augmentation means no Cyborgs - yey ! (For vicious foes - take a look at these) Does she/you have access to Running Wild?

Hmm - I'm considering switching to the Gunbunny char in this 4th ed game instead of running her in the 5th ed or running Stag. While I am fairly certain Stag is able to get out of most of the trouble he gets in to, he might not be overly helpful in extracting his teammates or shooting his way out when shit hits the fan.

Redline whoever enjoys a healthy dose of chaos and explosions - but sadly has quite a few elements from augmentation. Is it ok if I were to switch at a later point (after the 5th, when you have the book)? Or would you be okay if I were to write down everything she uses in a spoiler somewhere?

I could bring in a 21 dice pool 10DV combat adept. I could probably dial it up to 24 and 12 if I tried. Or I could do a classic artillery mage, which is hard to beat.
What do you guys think?
If you're up for tweaking, we could totally optimize our team...

I think I'm going to stay withdrawn. Not happy with the character I made and no time to rework it. Was fun playing with you guys while it lasted.

We had a slight miscommunication. She thought you guys would be using 500 BP not 400BP.

I have access to Augmentation now. And she got most of the PDFs of the Books that we had prior.

And in thinking on it. Go ahead and modify your characters to fit with 500BP. With a limit of 50 BP in Qualities.
