You're right. Halfway through doing that work, though, I realized I have a bigger retraining coming, which will force a bit of a gear shift, so I'm not sweating it just now.

Once we finish this next Scenario (assuming we survive/succeed ... fingers crossed), I'm likely going to work in a level of Barbarian to emphasize Jak's brawler background. So that mwk longsword will likely become a Mwk greatsword.

This time I think we should aim for a quick PbP experience, with at least 1 post/day from everyone. Please let's try to keep up with the pace everyone, so that we can get involved and not lose our immersion into the story.

Dang, our group is one attractive lot. Charisma scores ranging from 12 to 20. I don't think i've ever been in a group like that. :D

I wouldn't consider Gandros particularly attractive. It's more force of personality and confidence in himself. Of course, all of that is predicated on his delusions of grandeur.

Apologies for my absence, my computer has been having issues, as have I. I should be able to fulfill posting requirements from work or the library, or mobile, although I am somewhat loath to do so from there. If needed, I can, though.

Gandros, the mage armor wand is a group utility so if you need a wack feel free to speak up or snatch it!

It'll probably take me a few scenarios to feel out Gandros' personality, but my gut instinct is that he assumes his bodyguards will take care of everything. So as moronic as it is, he probably won't buff up until/unless you guys tell him to--which won't happen until after he gets himself almost killed once or twice.

I'm confused. A whole bunch of actions are being taken, but I thought only Jakwin and Dolgarth were up before the half-orcs. Did I miss/misunderstand something?

Yep, Dolgarth was botted. Jakwin acted, then I botted Dolgarth and used the enemies, then your turn. I put Gandros on delay, but you should feel free tobpost your actions now.

Ah! I missed the enemy actions because it was just movement. That's what really screwed me up.

Who is up? I can't tell from your tracker who is okay to act and who isn't.

Adding to that, where did we last see the woman/where do we see the mist on the map?

The description says "above their heads", so i'm guessing in one of those rooms along the bottom of the map (with the ladder looking thing).

Or are there rafters or catwalks above us or something?

No problem, Giuseppe. Is the mist marked by the "clouds" on the map's west (so, enveloping pretty much everyone besides nebraska)?

Hey everyone, sorry for the silence. My laptop is having some problems and I was forced to leave it for repair. I hope they will solve the problem as soon as possible. In the meantime, please bot me as needed.

As a side note, I'm now not satisfied with the overall posting rate of this campaign at all. From 2/day we went down to 1 post every 3 days or so in some cases. As such, I'm losing my commitment and probably will be closing this campaign with the end of this scenario, perhaps even before. As much as I hate to say that, posting consistency is very important to help me stay committed to a game. It was in the recruitment requirements, so I don't feel like I didn't tell you before. Consistency also enables me to find a comfortable spot in my daily routine to post. Without that, it's very hard for me to find the right motivations. Anyway, I'll think about it a little more as I wait for my laptop, and I'll let you know.

In all seriousness though, it saddens me too. Of course I want this to continue but I understand your need for consistency GM. I'm much the same, a running rapport is far easier to stay in character with as well as being more enjoyable.

Make the decision you need to, you'll hear no judgements from me as this notion has been brought up once before already. I'll either be here as Nebraska or try to get involved in the next thing down the line.

I view GMing as a completely voluntary donation of one's time and energy. If for whatever reason you're not enjoying yourself or not finding the desire to put in the work, then definitely redirect your energies to something you will enjoy.

Hey, folks. Just a heads up. My wife and I are leaving on Thursday (4/6) and will be out of the country (sipping margaritas on the beach) until next Tuesday (4/11). Likely won’t have a lot of desire to be on the boards. Bot me as needed. :)

I hope this isn't a 'straw that broke the camel's back situation', but i still wanted to give you guys a heads up.

I feel like this past week has not been a good sign.

I just got back into town. I'm still here, and back to regular posting. I still hope we have a game here, but I guess we'll need to see where Giuseppe's head is at on it.

I suppose in an effort of goodwill we should begin goofing-off in the gameplay thread. And I'm talking HARD shenanigans.

Hey guys, I got my laptop back, but as I had already told you, I don't feel like this game is worth the effort. Our posting rate has dropped so consistently that I don't have fun anymore. As such, I suppose I should just mark the campaign as inactive.

It has been a pleasure to play with you, and I really enjoyed those parts where we were going fast and everyone was posting twice a day or more. I felt very involved. I hope to get the chance to play with some of you in the future!

GM, how far into the scenario did we get? I believe that if we're over halfway we can't replay it and you'll still need to get us chronicles.

Well, this is sad. It was a very nice experience while it lasted. Thanks everyone, it was a pleasure playing with you all, honestly. Actually, I'm doubly sad because we didn't get to see Gandros in his fully-developed glory.

Regarding chronicles and etc, feel free to skip Aldus' since I will probably be avoiding PFS in the future anyhow!

It's too bad it had to come to this, but if you feel it is the right decision that's perfectly all right with me. I also hope to game with you in future!

If players are interested, we may be able to shop around in the Flaxseed Lodge for a replacement DM to finish the Scenario. I know you're less than enthused with PFS right now, Aldus, but it'd be nice to finish this Scenario if it's possible.
