Jak gives his most heroic grin, "Glad to help."

He pauses to replace his weaponry, making sure his new sword wasn't too badly dinged up in the fall, "What happened an hour ago?"
Dolgarth |
Dolgarths searches the vanquished foe's body. "They all have such nice flails! Makes me wonder why I bothered buying my own new one. I could've just used 'em until we had to turn in what we found, then another cultist'll have one."
Aldus the Supplicant |
Aldus raises an incredulous eyebrow when the woman falls to the ground, unconscious. "…she actually left her hiding spot with 5 armed people aiming at her? Perhaps they should stop spending all that money on flails and teach them some strategy," he looks at Dolgarth and shrugs.
The Galtan approaches the woman and shakes the gnome's hand: "I am Aldus and these are my companions, Jak, Nebraska, Dolgarth and Gandros. We are Pathfinders. And we also are extremely happy we got here on time. And you are?" Once the engineer has introduced herself, he nervously looks at Nebraska and then around himself: "Are there any wounded?"

Nebraska Jones |
Nebraska is about to act when the woman falls at their feet. She looks to Dolgarth, "We're that pretty, huh?" she smiles to the other half-elf before pulling the arrow out for Aldus.
"Hiya! Yeah we were put on the case, amd evidently got here just in time! What happened a hour ago? What were they bullyimg you now?"

"I'm Queck Majet, head engineer of the Hall of Wonders!", happily responds the gnome, "and they are my fellow engineers". It is often said that emotions are more clearly visible on the faces on gnomes, and Queck's face right now is but another proof of this. Her expression betray fear, anxiousness and a little bit of curiosity. But as soon as the conversation shifts to what has happened an hour ago, all other emotions fade from her Queck's visage, leaving only fear. "About an hour ago, more of them left with six captive engineers—the six engineers who are most knowledgeable on the subject of ancient Cassomir construction...They ransacked our guild and stole ancient city plans—not to mention kidnapping six of my best engineers, as I told you".
Queck shakes her head. "I wonder where they are now, and if they're still alive. These kidnappers...they...they demanded we hand over any blueprints that detailed the Crypt of Fools. They said something about keeping the location of hidden tunnels a secre, or something like that."
At this point in the conversation, a human engineer chimes in. “I overheard their leader telling those who led the kidnapped engineers away that she was staying behind to find out if we knew anything else about the Crypt of Fools and the tunnels. She then said, ‘Tell Dalirio he can have these.’ What did she mean by that?”
Aldus the Supplicant |
"Dalirio?!" Aldus gives a puzzled look to his companions. "We have met this man before and delivered him to the authorities. I didn't think we'd be hearing his name again. Do you know where we can find this crypt, Queck?"
'We're lucky Fiametta is not here or we'd be having a long lecture on the inefficiency of the Taldan government'
Nebraska Jones |
Nebraska sighs and hsakes her head, "Dalirio is back out?! We came from the prison actually, were informed of a plot to destroy all evidence of the Crypt's location. I think it's pretty clear that we need to head there straight away."
Dolgarth |
"Great, Dalirio's back on the loose. I'm starting to lose some of my innate faith in the system," Dolgarth grimaces. "Have you any idea where he went?"
