One is just starting Into the Unknown next week, but is in the game and the other is on part 2 of 4 of Commencement, so maybe a month?

Level 5, 9,500 Credits. All SFS legal races+any races you did unlock. Not playing by the official SFS rules, but you get SFS credit as this is run in story mode, so you don't have to bring in your SFS character.

Hello All.

I am recruiting for three seats of Pact Worlds Warriors for the Gameday. This is not First Come, First Serve, but under other recruitment because I reserved three seats for some relatively new players (2 who might be brand new to PBP).

I'd like to fill the other three seats with some folks who could mentor, and who would be super fun to have at a table. If you think that might be you, feel free to indicate interest here: Hmm's 2-01 Pact World Warriors.

Please note that games listed under 'other recruitment' (lotteries, invitation-only, GM pick) do not count against the initial signup limits. Why? Practical reasons. We have no way of tracking signups that occur off the main Gameday sheet, and so decided that it was best to just exclude those games from the normal player signup limits rather than trying to police them.

I promise to pick by July 16th or far earlier if I get a good mix of three characters, and if I don't select you, I will try to release you as fast as I can so that you can participate in other signups.

Some key information: one of my reserved spaces is for a 2nd level mechanic named Rose-5. I do not know what the other two newcomers will be bringing.

Have a level 1 android mechanic who has completed 1-01 and 1-03 (just wrapping up). I'm looking for any other low tier scenario.

If you wait just a few hours you could get onto a table of the special (or other scenarios) for Gameday VII that is starting in about a month.

And there's enough time for a very quick table to run through a scenario before then if you can get one together!

"On July 12th, we open up general signup where players can sign up for up to 3 games. This will be opening up on Midnight of July 12th UTC (aka 7pm CST on July 11th.)"

7pm CST was a little over three hours ago.

Consider this your general announcement. We're an international campaign, and so use UTC time. It's already July 12th in much of the world.

A bit late but general player signups for PbP Gameday VIII are officially open! You may sign up for up to 3 RPG games and/or 2 ACG games - and this includes Specials - at the link >>HERE<<. These limits are to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to find seating for games. Unlimited player signups will open later, on July 22nd.

I've got 2 games open for recruitment for GameDay VIII...

The first is 1-06: A Night in Nightarch which is a tier 3-6 scenario with no tags.

The second is a favorite of mine... 1-09: Live Exploration Extreme! This one is a tier 1-4 with no tags. It follows up on the events of 1-00: Claim to Salvation, which I'll admit, I've never played, run, nor even heard the plot of. So if you haven't played in it, don't worry! It's still a favorite of mine!

I wanted to open up with a few questions. I wanted to ask if anyone who would be up to play in faster paced SFS scenario (either 1-01: The Commencement or 1-03: Yesteryear's Truth) looking for an average of two posts per day per player. I would be looking to finish this before the upcoming Gameday in little more than a month and would be starting in the next couple days.

The next question I would have would be if this is even reasonable or if I should instead just relax and avoid running a game until after Gameday has largely passed.

I have a lvl 2 Wayfinder Envoy that would join up for 1-03, fast paced or not. He isn't signed up for any gameday sessions at the moment so even if it didn't finish he would be fine.

The Commencement is replayable (with a different character), so now might be the time to create your next character. Soon you'll join the rest of us with 5 or 10 or 20. :)

Alright, I'll be trying this and will be running 1-03: Yesteryear's Truth given enough players. I'll be posting introduction to the adventure tonight and looking to get you all flying off on adventure early next week.

This just isn't working out for me, I signed up to play this with an ol' favorite GM for Gameday.

Any other interest for literally anything else 1-04+, tier 1 to finish pre gameday?

*Though SFS #2-00 Fate of the Scoured God may be played for credit once in each tier, we are currently restricting players to one signup for Gameday. We plan to offer this particular special again in the not-too-distant future and would rather not see the majority of our SFS players burn through their opportunities to play it all in one shot.

Given the lack of special on the upcoming gameday is one of the GMs interested in running 2-03 The Withering World on Paizo? My friend and I would like to join that game and the existing two 2-03 games are happening on discord which we are not the great fans of.

We can offer a great deal of RP and regular posting from our end ;)
