Alright, let's see if this works. In an effort to increase the games available at the moment, I have a proposition.

I will run the quest pack, Into the Unknown. IF someone else steps up and runs a game, of whatever scenario they choose. I'll hold a spot in my game for this heroic GM if they hold a spot for one of my characters!

That way we get two more games going and I get to play in one of them. ;)

Thoughts? Any takers? Is this a terrible horrible idea?

I might take you up on that. I currently have a standing offer for another game, but once that's squared away and my current PbP is complete in a week I might be free up.

Yeah, I'll shoot you a PM later. I'd actually had some thoughts for a "Starfinder Academy" with some GM shared prep to try and push repeatable content while we wait for a sustainable number of scenarios.

I have some bandwidth opening up soon and would willing to run either The Commencement or Into the Unknown.

I'm creating a Google Sheets to track GM / Playing preferences, and Trades, and will send the link to participating GMs (will give Edit privileges when things get rolling.)

Obviously there will be a "Gentle-beings" agreement for the Trade. RL happens even after trades are started, though hopefully we're all adults here and can sort things out. Sound good?

For those of you participating in the GM trade, may I make one suggestion? You don't have to have all the games at the same time. For instance, if you have 4 GMs participating, you could start out with two of the games, with the plan that the other games each start as soon as one of the first two ends.

How about some of you run “Incident at Absalom Station” eh? It’s an evergreen for 3XP!

The maps are fairly easy; you can copy them out of the PDF. I tend to put them in Google Drawings. If you want some GM tips, let me know.

I am totally down with doing some GM trade offs but I am very new to the system at this point. I would love to throw down a couple of more games then take the GM helm. Most confusing to me thus far is starship combat, not grasping that yet.

As far as mechanics of GMing, I echo Wolfspirit's comments. For PFS, I use Google Drawings for maps and tokens. Works really well.

I wouldn't mind running, I do it regularly enough at my local society. But I don't really have regular access to a computer to handle maps and things like that, just a phone. I can post plenty, I can move stuff around on maps fairly easy, but I can't really create them.

I'd also love to get in on a game of incident at Absalon. I generally prefer to play before I run, makes the game more enjoyable when you can't predict everything. After I play I wouldn't mind coming back to run if I can solve the above problem.

^I'm pretty sure he was offering those up for other GMs to steal. A few people were saying they were uncomfortable making maps.

Rescue game of Claim to Salvation (L4 Pregen) scenario has a need for two players to replace MIA players. They have knocked over the first part of the scenario, but still have exciting content to go through. Full chronicle will apply, game duration no more than 3ish weeks to run.

Agent Eclipse, I apologize for not responding sooner to your post about thinking about GMing a play by post game. We as a lodge welcome people who want to try, and provide help. Feel free to PM me if there is anything I can do. You can post here and ask for help, if desired. You also can if you feel ready recruit players for a game, telling them that you are new as GM and everyone will be willing to give you extra patience and a bit of help if you need it.

We have GM school sometimes around here, so that's also something you might keep an eye out for.
