I know we are in the middle of outpost, but who wants to play 1-18 blackmoon survey? Scenario tags none. Many of you already played it, but don't forget, those with 2nd Seekers JA faction can replay scenarios with a certain easy to get boon. It is one of Starfinders best scenarios with good puzzles and wow, how do we get past this next part?

where is sign up?
It will be a level 1 Operative though.

@Wasteland_Wizard: all the scenarios have level ranges.
So, as a level one you can enter any that are for level 1 (like the ones w. a 1-4 range).
Then you'll see what tier it is w. the other players and DM (the tier is the level of difficulty you play at, based on the average level of the characters in the game ; for example: if you are the only lvl 1 w. 5 lvl. 4's, you'll be playing in tier 3-4, and can either opt to not play, or - more probably - still play, but know that you have to be careful since the opposition will be a lot higher level than you).
The SFS scenarios are linked in a way, with some (but not that many) linked to a previous scenario.
But it is not very important to have played the possible previous one to enjoy any scenario.
In general, if you have played a previous scenario with links to a next one, with the same character you play in the next one, you get a little bonus, or a little boon, but never anything that changes everything.
The scenarios are all made to be playable in whichever order with fun, so I'd just try to get into any game that you think will be fun.

Seems there might be some interest in more SFS games after the start of Outpost II so let me try this again. With the recent blog post noting that the "cool fun factor" bit of the Rising Star boon is about to come to fruition... I've been thinking of running a couple of the higher level Second Seekers missions.

In particular Heat of the Foe (3-6) and Reclaiming the timelost tear(5-8).

Are there enough in tier (and not currently in game) characters who would want to play one or both of these?

I know one higher level Second Seeker champion PC, who is available and would love to play Reclaiming. (Just leveled to 7th).

Medrick is in for Heat of the Foe. I don't think he will be able to play Reclaiming the timelost tear yet since if I remember correctly, he is only 4.1 now.

Rerecruiting for Against the Aeon Throne Campaign mode. The players are on book 2. At least 2 spots are open, maybe more They finished book 1 just before Outpost II and I put the game on hold cause of Outpost II. Now that many games are finished or at least halfway there, now is a good time to recruit. Build your character at Level 4 with 8000 credits to spend. Build your character as if you were building an SFS character. Though you aren't actually using the boon itself, you can play Skittermancer if you did indeed unlock the skittermancer in SFS, same as other races. You can use the existing halfing boon and such if you did indeed unlock it, giving him one ability score of +2 that was below 14 at creation, etc.
If you plan to play a race that only be unlocked via boon, I need to at least have proof that you did in fact play it. The DM could vouch for you, you can show me the chronicle, etc. Of course you could have unlocked the boon Dming or it could be the Alien Archive boon. I own all the modules and participated in every PBP Starfinder gameday, so nobody can say I got this Ogre boon from the Commencement or this Gargoyle boon from Outpost II, cause I'll know that ain't true.

Aha, I do happen to have a 3-4 tier character that is free for Heart of the Foe. Though I'm a bit wary of jumping in to what is effectively Part 7 of the Scoured Stars storyline when I've only done 3 parts so far.

I'll try to make the game threads etc tomorrow. Likely actual start on Tuesday as that gives me a day to buy them and do the reading. I've not played either of these myself yet, so going in cold.

@wolffaur - I couldn't see where you put your details in, but add them to the SFS tab of my signup sheet and we'll get you a seat.
@fionne - so far as I have seen so far, the story lines are pretty loosely linked. I'd not worry too much about doing content out of order at the moment. In PFS there are some scenarios that really play much better in order ,but I've not seen that so much for SFS so far. They seem to be more thematically linked than hard plot links. I imagine that will change over time, but for the moment you should be more or less safe.

My lvl 6 should be good for Heart of the Foe, though.

For those in my Dead Suns Campaign, you see me rebooting Reign of Winter and Against the Aeon Thrones. That one will be rebooted in late April or Early May when 90% of the Outpost II games are over. I'd rather not play/Dm too many games at once if I want to give good roleplay and post daily.

Hey Aerondor, my level 5 Second Seeker just finished an Outpost game and I'd love to run them through both of those scenarios. Obviously I could only do one, if you need more for the 3-6 I'll join in.

Seeing as Heart of the Foe is looking to be high tier, I'll withdraw Fionne (a feeble level 3) and let someone else take the spot. Let me know if you're running something else thats a little more in the Tier 3-4 range though Aerondor! :>
