I would be down to play Starfinder Four vs the Hardlight Harlequin and Grav Train Robbery. I did play Band on the Run already :(

How do massive damage rules apply in Organized Play?
If you have fewer than 20 Hit Points, treat your Hit Points as 20 when determining if your character dies from massive damage.

Alright folks, we have another 2x AcP Event Weekend coming up for the soon to be released One-Shots for Starfinder and Pathfinder 2E. Below you will find a sign-up sheet for GM Registration along with the weekend that your PbP / PbD Table must start on to earn double AcP. If you table starts before or after that allotted weekend then you will not receive the double AcP.

Similar to Sundered Waves the VO team will create a separate event for this as well as use our reporting tool so that all PbP Games are consolidated on one event and easier for Alex to turn on once they are all reported in. I will email the event # and reporting form out via email to the GM's as it gets closer.

At the moment all I can give you information on are the titles of the One-Shots and the dates for double AcP. Please keep an eye out for future blogs with better descriptions and product pages.

I will be sending in the Scenario Support request for these items on October 10th. We do not yet know exact release dates nor when you will actually receive them so please be patient with that process. We just wanted to get word out so that you can plan ahead if you wish to run / play in these One-Shots.

Just following up to see if/when the Double AcP should be expected to post. I ran Great Grav Train, but the AcP for my session still shows 8, and only 4 for my players.

I have 1-2 more that are still gathering information so hopefully will just be another couple of days. Then Alex can turn on the double AcP for each one.

You may have to refresh your points to see the update according to the email.

I'm looking at the sessions page where it shows how much ease session credits you with. Is that where it should be showing up? Or just as a change to your total?

I just sent Alex a message to look into the event for us.

When I just checked it, it was still not showing the double. Then I went to the GM/Event Coordinator tab and hit Refresh. Now it shows the doubled amount in my total and on the Sessions page. Thanks Tyranius, and Thanks Alex!

So Copaxi is now a playable race in Starfinder. Does that make the copaxi admitance boons from playing a specific scenario I'm not allowed to name useless? You still get the language, but the race boon does nothing now? It doesn't say they have the existing Copaxi on those chronicles.

Great news everyone! PbP games will continue to be incorporated into PaizoCon Online 2022!!!

We will have a total of 45 PbP tables at PaizoCon. (PbP will have access to the new scenarios also releasing at PaizoCon as well as Author-ran tables)

PF1E (4 Scenarios)
PF2E (20 Scenarios and 6 Bounties)
SFS (15 Scenarios and 6 Bounties)

How long ago was the character killed? I ask because from the Org Play Guide:

During an adventure, a character might gain afflictions such as blindness, curses, diseases, poison, or death. Any permanent afflictions must be cleared from the character before the end of the adventure or the character ceases to be available for organized play.

Exceptions include permanent negative levels, ability drain that does not reduce an ability score to 0, and conditions that impose no mechanical effect.

GMs should report characters with uncleared permanent afflictions as dead.

Org Play Guide Negative Effects

He died before they implemented an ACP system for Starfinder, so I take it the answer is no.
I would have had to purchase it as he handed out chronicles if there actually was an ACP system back then, or rather I would have had to purchase this with fame though I didn't have the fame to do so. It was a TPK, so I guess I would have had to purchase the one that says recover the body for 10 ACP and then the one that says raise dead for 28 ACP just to make him playable.

Correct in the instance of a TPK you would have had to recover your body first, then paid for the raise dead. During that time frame you would have indeed had to pay Fame, but if you didn't have that amount at the time then the character is certainly dead.

I wanted to inform you all that we have a bit of the transition within the VO team. VL Michael Hallet will be slowly transitioning out of the VL role in the coming months. He has increased opportunities in real life that he is going to pursue. He will still be found around the many PbP Lodges playing and GM’ing so he won’t be disappearing completely.

Please send out your heartfelt thanks to Mike either here or on Discord (MichaelHallet#9245) for all of the fantastic help and assistance he has provided the PbP Community. Mike was instrumental in helping get the registration, signup sheets, Con Support, and scenario Support all linked together and ready to go for each of our PbP Cons. Mike also was a key player in helping get the initial PaizoCon Online up and going on short notice when COVID started. This helped get a large portion of the world shifted into online play so that games could continue earning him his Campaign Coin (#837)

With Michael Hallet leaving that means we will need to backfill that position. I am excited to announce that Brad Grinstead (bigrin42, bigrin42#2231) has accepted the position. Please send out congratulations to Brad as he will help the team look over all of the Discord Lodges to help foster continued growth and fun events.

Farewell, Mike. You have done so much for all of us. I remember when the brand new PBP VO Corps was just the two of us trying to figure out what we were doing!

Congratulations also to BigGrin (Brad) as he takes on new responsibilities!

She has been doing a ton of great work and tracking over there and also volunteered to assist with running the PbP Duties and responsibilities during PaizoCon Online this year.

A couple of new items if you take a look at the blog below. Some of you may have noticed but every player should have been granted an additional 80 AcP for both Starfinder and Pathfinder 2E. There were a few hiccups with this and the Paizo Team is working through it, but please read Alex's message in the blog.

It used to cost 2 Fame to change Factions. Is there a cost now or do we just do it. For instance, I have a PC wanting to join the new Advocates faction after playing 5-01. Do I just note that on the character sheet or is there an ACP cost I haven't found yet?

You can just change factions, there is no direct cost.

You do have an opportunity cost in that it would slow down you reaching the next reputation tier.

Alex has indicated we can share the following:

I intend to award some Campaign Coins at Gen Con/Gen Con Online, as well as potentially at PaizoCon Online Europe. If you would like to nominate one or more individuals for these coins, please email the nomination to organizedplay@paizo.com no later than July 15, so I have time to consider them.

If you have previously sent in a nomination for someone you know will be attending these shows, I would love to know that as well.

Under my "administration," the criteria for a campaign coin is "be nominated by at least one person, and go above and beyond the standard VO requirements if you're a VO." This is deliberately nebulous and I don't have set criteria. If you're nominating someone, let me know what they've done to deserve the coin and I'll take it into account. More nominations are good, they show me that more people care, especially more nominations from people who are probably not communicating about it (e.g. if members from two different regions send in nominations, that individual is clearly having an effect on multiple areas). Coins are not limited to VOs; if there is a non-VO going above and beyond, they're absolutely eligible too!

Anyone want to join Patrick in Gameplay? It's part of his therapy to learn to be social. :)
