Did you see the System Traveler Boons?
If you go to 'My Organized Play' and you look at the boons tab, there are System Traveler boons that allow you to use ACP from one system to purchase a race in another.
You can use PF2 ACP to purchase access to kobolds, kitsune and grippli in Starfinder.
You can use Starfinder ACP (once you earn it) to purchase access to ratfolk (ysoki) and androids in Pathfinder 2nd edition.
I think that I am totally going to purchase a kobold for Starfinder with my PF2 ACP. I love the idea of this boon!

Venture Captain Observation Games
I am now 109 games in (110 about to hit) and need to start collecting my 3 VC evaluated games.
Complete 3 observation games in the presence of a venture captain, a regional venture-coordinator, or a member of the Paizo Organized Play staff.
'In the presence of' is a strange descriptor for a PbP game though.

My main regret about stepping down as a VC is no longer being able to help out 5 nova candidates with observation tables. I am so excited for you, Shifty!
As for myself, I am currently 13 tables away from my goal... Five Novas are in sight, yet still so very far away.
Hmm
PS I am so proud of Tyranius and the rest of the PBP Online Team of VOs. I could not have asked for better successors!

![]() |

Tyranius, how do they do the character sheet thing? I have played DnD AL using DnD Beyond sheet, is there anything like that for Starfinders or Pathfinders? Or do you just yes a paper sheet in front of you and the VTT to roll dice and it is on the honesty code of what you bonuses are?
Taking this over to discussion tab.
Are you referring to PbP or VTT games on there?
PbP will be just as you play now. Either on this website, Mythweavers or one of the Discord Lodges.
If you are referring to VTT then the scenario should list which type of VTT they are using whether it be Roll 20 or Fantasy Grounds, ect. On Warhorn there is a discussion tab once you sign up for the game. Each of the VTT's have a built in character sheet that you can quickly fill in. My suggestion would be to send a message to the GM through Warhorn's discussion and they should be able to help get you set up well before the game.
I am familiar with some of the VTT's so may be able to help you out if you let e know which one. If it is something I am unfamiliar with I can also get you linked up with one of the VTT VO's if you have specific questions.

I feel for you @GM Hmm. I'm feeling the same way about my fourth Nova ... at the moment, it seems like I'm more likely to get my second Glyph before then, given our local Lodge's demand for PFS2e GMs

GM Hmm |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |

I did get my second glyph before getting my fifth nova. There are other GMs who want to GM Starfinder locally and a constant demand for PF2. To be fair though, the demand for Starfinder and PF2 tables is equal at my local lodge.
Hmm

![]() |

I have to do nearly all my Starfinder GMing online. There's not enough local demand down here.

GM Hmm |

Bret and I had to build demand locally. We scheduled one Starfinder game every other week for weeks, inviting people we knew to play it. And they had fun. Before we knew it, we were able to offer Starfinder every week and had a group of hard core Starfinder players -- some who won't even play Pathfinder.
Hmm

Here is the link to a tool to hopefully make your GM lives a bit easier:
This is a tool that can automatically fill in the majority of your chronicle sheets for GM's. All you have to do is enter the pertinent information, provide proof-of-ownership of the scenario, and then it should fill out nearly everything else out except for a signature. To save even more time, you can have your players enter their information into this tool so that you don’t have to. There is a “How To” page on its webpage that explains how best to make use of it.
Currently this is only able to do SFS, PFS2E, and PACG. It is a great tool, I have tested it out a little now and it is amazing.

![]() |

That is a measure that had to be set in place to provide proof of purchase to be able to use the program. PFS2E is a little easier as you input the code found on the chronicle.

The near advent of Paizo con seems to have led to a bit of a dry-up of totally free PBP games.
So... There are a couple of missions for young Starfinders (levels 1-4).
01-20 - An oldie but a goodie. Duskmire Accord-9. Explore one of those mysterious vaults in Salvations End. I'm going to try running chronicles though that nifty site listed above. Not sure how that will work really, but - go ahead and check into the discussion thread.
04-01 - Year of the Data Scourge. Releases in a week. But no reason not to book your seat now. Check in here

I fully support 'cuddle' being the group name for skittermanders!

Does Fame translate to ACP or should we spend it before it goes. Or is all old Fame kept for the purposes of avoiding Bad Stuff?

Spend now as you want. Alex has indicated an intention but not a guarantee to have some sort of conversion later. He has stated there will be advanced warning of whatever is going to happen.
Basically, come Friday, all earning is new system but spending is available in each system until told otherwise.

If you were interested in trying out Herolab Online it is running a completely free through May 31st for PaizoCon Online!

Announcement #2
As some of you have already seen the Blog Post, there have been some big changes that came to Starfinder Year 4! Blog Post (Link)
One of the bigger changes are the reason for this announcement. As of yesterday Starfinder will now be using the AcP system as Pathfinder 2e has been for several months now.
But What does this mean?"
This means a couple of things. No more Fame on Chronicles as you will accumulate AcP to spend instead.
Also this means that SFS will no longer be reported into the OSP Program. Instead just like PFS2E GM's will report their non-convention SFS games directly into Paizo's reporting tool due to the AcP feature.

GM bigboom |

A question just came to my mind around the AcP system...
Fame is no longer recorded and tracked because it has been replaced. But what about faction reputation? Will that continue to be accrued and tracked on chronicle sheets also?
I don't recall what else reputation is used for aside from determining reputation tiers to allow purchasing of faction boons with (the now discontinued) fame.
Thanks for clarifying!

![]() |

It is just fame. Reputation isn't moving, and still acts as a gateway for purchase of boons. I'm guessing said boons with be purchased with ACP though.

Find the Path is my favorite lodge (not to take away from the excellence of Flaxseed, Castamir, etc.) Really happy to see this. They've been working towards being recognized as a lodge for a long time.
I definitely recommend checking it out.

Has anyone else noticed that the posting timestamps are no longer adjusting for local timezones? It was throwing me off trying to gauge whether 24 hours had already passed without player posts before I bot/move the scene along at my PBP table.
I think the timestamps are all fixed to pacific time at the moment. Anyone else seeing the same thing or is it just me?

Sedoriku |

Nope, I've been seeing the same thing! Even made a thread in the website feedback forums. Been going on for about a month now as far as I have noticed. When I've asked others about it, most of the responses seemed to agree with it being an issue for them too.

GM bigboom |

Okay, thanks! At least I know it's not just me. Odd that it's been going on for so long though. It only started happening to me 24-48 hours ago. I'll check out the other thread!

Nah, not for me. I just have two hours extra to make a post.

So the three tables I have been running through the Frozen Ambitions series are finally coming to the end.
We started in 19th of Aug and we have managed five scenarios back to back - we did a detour through Silence at Outpost 634 and had a bit of a pause waiting for scenarios to drop, but overall a great experience keeping fixed groups going through 'mini-campaigns'.

GM Mjolbeard |

Speaking as a player at one of Shifty's table, I can also confirm it's been a blast! Especially given that we're running an all-skitter crew!

Speaking as another player at another table, I can also confirm it's been a blast...even with no skitters.
It's always a nice surprise to see how quickly a group starts to think of itself and act like a group (playing off each other's characters, carrying jokes and storylines over from one scenario to another, etc.) in a PbP environment and under a really good GM.
And I'll point out, I had forgotten Shifty was doing 3 tables. He's done a fabulous job of making it feel like we're the only ones he's running for.

It is interesting to see the (often radically different) approaches and dynamics the three groups apply to the same scenarios. And yes the in-group jokes and banter are great, I see it a lot less when running individual scenarios.
It is a shame they did away with the three arc model in S4, I really liked it. I have run (and played) Frozen Ambitions, run The Vast Experiment for a local face to face group, but haven't looked at the high-level arc.
The first group has asked to continue on 'Into the Veskarium', which now that I have read it, actually fits beautifully onto the end of Frozen Ambitions.
For those considering doing a mini-campaign, I would suggest:
#3-03: Frozen Ambitions: The Shimmerstone Gateway (1-4)
#3-09: Frozen Ambitions: Freeing the Herd (1-4)
#3-15: Frozen Ambitions: The Preluria Connection (1-4)
#3-21: Frozen Ambitions: Renewal's Blight (3-6)
#2-19: Truth Keepers (3-6)
#3-02: The Subterranean Safari (3-6)
#3-11: Into the Veskarium (3-6)
Obviously the back half is 3-6 so people beginning the series should be at least L2 before beginning this whole caper.
The last three I'm still tossing up the order, but reckon what is posted works.

I've been reconciling my Starfinder GMing log against the Paizo website because I'm wanting to find out exactly how many tables I need to get my fourth Nova.
Doing that, I've discovered that three games I reported through the OSP system hasn't appeared on the Paizo site as GM credits. I've identified the OSP numbers for each one and could resend the acknowledgement emails for them so they can be checked to see if they have been entered correctly (I know I got my ID number wrong in one but did send a correction).
Which entity should I email to get this sorted out please?

If you reply to the confirmation emails with details of errors or missing the session, that should go to the right person to take a look and make any corrections.
If the sessions are listed on Paizo but not providing GM credit then email pfsreportingerrors@paizo.com

I just finished GMing a pbp game of a 5-8 scenario that was played in low tier. I wish to assign this to a PC of seventh level. Does that PC get high tier or out of tier gold?
Want to make sure I get this right.
