I thought I read somewhere that they try to ship identical orders all at once since that makes it easy for the people who pick and pack.
I would imagine my order of the 2 hardcovers and the AP and Module would be fairly common, but have not got them yet, so maybe they don't do that anymore, or else there is another common item that I am not purchasing that a lot of other subscribers are getting.

You probably have the same as me? AP, adventure line, Lost Omens, and SE rulebook? That pile with the standard APG shipped out a while ago, but this combination with the SE seems to be later.

I don't get the special editions rule books, just:
Pathfinder Adventure Path
Pathfinder Lost Omens
Pathfinder Adventure
Pathfinder Rulebook

APG SE pending since July 10. Is that normal?
I think most of us here have had it pending since the 10th. Mine has, though I did not ever actually get the order expected to ship email, it does show pending in my orders. If CS wasn't backed up to the beginning of the month I'd ask about it to make sure, but at this point it wouldn't get me a quick response.

Can confirm, pending since July 10th.

Don't worry friends, we'll all get our turn sooner or later, it's a very big month for Paizo products and lots of combinations for the warehouse team to send out, let's be thankful next month is a pretty quiet one.

Hm. Email postmarked 2:51 PM EDT today says my order is shipped! Not only that, I got my third party "Tome of Psionic" in the mail too! (Not from Paizo though, ordered from Drivethru, iirc).
Ten items in the Paizo order, and 15 new things to download. I'm going to go do that now. :-)

With how my luck's been last few months, that's when I feel like I'll actually have my book.

July's Adventure Path neither pending or shipping. Also, earlier I had a Dungeon and Dragon Art Book non-mint in my side cart, which has disappeared? Also, should have a new payment mentod up. Trying times all over the place! THANK YOU for yourtime on this when you can. Kevin

Checked my account online, that charge can show up a few days before they do the order though.

Still pending from July 10th. If shipping goes as well as last month I should receive my subscription by mid September (I just received the June order on July 24, it shipped June 19).
I'm still waiting on my May order, received June last week but still no sign of May yet (In Australia), those long wait times for overseas shipments are killers

International orders are a pain. The funny thing is the pre-covid I could drive to the Paizo offices in about 2 1/2 hours.

So if my order is still pending, I'm guessing that it will be quite a while before I receive either of my subscriptions (Legends and APG). Is there any chance of at least having pdf access if shipping is delayed? It's incredibly frustrating knowing that others have the pdf's already.
A lot of us hoping they give pdf to pending orders on street date at least.
There is mention it's happened b4Steve Geddes |
It's pretty rare (but yes it has happened).
My hazy recollection is that it wasn't in cases where "oh we're really backed up" but rather in cases where there was a big release and they didn't want subscribers getting it early. In other words, it was more a delay for those that got it early and then everyone got it on streetdate rather than a compensatory release for those who don't have it yet. I seem to remember that being a function of their computer system's idiosyncracies - ie it's a question of scaling and either everyone gets it on one date or it's piecemeal.
Having said that - in my view this month is an extraordinary circumstance. Usually for their August subscriptions they've already pre-shipped half their stock to GenCon (for subscribers who are attending and for direct-sales customers). Despite that, August is generally a long, slow and oft-delayed month.
This year, I suspect it will be even longer, slower and more delayed as the subscription run is going to be considerably bigger and there are presumably a mountain of pre-orders from non-subscribers who would otherwise have bought from GenCon.
I've been facing delays of about one-two months this year since March. I'm bracing myself not to see these books until September at the earliest and more likely October. :(

2020 is 2020, but this has been confirmed by Paizo previously.
However, they also confirmed that they move around the order in which those batches get shipped out. So even if your particular configuration is super-common, it might still be placed last in the queue (Paizo's overarching goal is to make the whole process as rapid as possible without systematically disadvantaging or privileging specific cohorts of customers - if one 'grouping' was always first, that would go counter to that and would also provide disincentive to add extra items/subscriptions which is obviously not good policy for them).

Is there a way to contact paizo, I'm kinda want to cancel my APG subscription if it is gonna be shipped on the 29th, I'm kinda worried if it's gonna be shipped at all to be honest.
Best thing to do currently is to start a new thread in this forum entitled "Cancel subscription before August order" or somesuch.
They are very overworked and understaffed at the moment, so they may not see it in time, but that's the best (also - don't bump the thread once you've posted it as perversely that pushes it to the bottom of the queue!)
In months where there isn't a pandemic closing their offices, the best thing to do for time-sensitive issues is to phone them (10am-5pm, M-F) but they don't have phone customer service, at the moment.

You would still have the pdf though?

I don't read PDFs, but yes I suspect I would.

Mine is still pending. My subscriptions have never been this late.
The latest I've ever had a delay was (close to) one month - essentially my August shipment one year shipped the day before my September subscription.
It does happen sadly (particularly around this time of year). :(
