I suppose these are great examples of why improvisational skills are a very good thing for a GM to master.
Lol, nope. Generic discriptions would allow for improvisations. Giving a specific name is something intentional and should have meaning. It made me look the name up to see if it is in PF lore somewhere. Basically I'm chalking it up to poor editing. It was probably left over from a more extensive description that was cut to reduce word count. It was just a bit annoying to waste my time researching what I was certain was important details.
Chapter 3: Red Pyramid. Who is Nausimenset (c5 priests chambers), and who is the man in the chariot all the gods are praising (C3 royal chambers)?? The author goes through the trouble of being very specific in a description of the rooms but provides absolutely ZERO information for me to provide my level 17 characters with Master and legendary skill checks.
The home page shows the SE as the red version and it looks so premium, love everything about it. Then I clicked on the link and nope, still dark blue with the silly font. Is that font comic sans?
Agree with above comments on color. We already went through a red color change between bestiary 1 and 2. Then a spine change with Guns and Gears or was it secrets of magic, whichever was first. Now, blue? Ugh. I will survive it, but it will be an itch I won't be able to scratch, lol.
Will this include just the AV specific monsters or also standard monsters in AV that are in other Battle Card sets?
"Every monster from the Abomination Vaults AP" sure sounds like every monster from the AP.
Yea, that's what I figured considering there are 200 cards in the set. I'm not a big fan of purchasing 150ish? duplicate cards. I guess I will pass on the AP specific sets.
I kicked started these. A complete set of the limited editions for me and a complete set of the standard editions to give to my players. unfortunately my best note taker is a Ranger and it killed me to not be able to give her a book.
These books are amazing and absolutely beautiful. Absolutely worth it if you are playing a campaign and like to keep good notes and want a keepsake to put on the shelf for later reminiscing.
I would suggest you use a pencil just in case you die at level 1, lol.
"If survivors of a fight on a lower floor have fled here to raise an alarm, they and the thugs and the velstracs confront the PCs in area H3a after Barushak gives the PCs a choice (see below)."
I must be blind but I cant find a "choice" below. What am I missing?
Fantasy Grounds replied to my email and stated that their system will only recognize the standard .PDF product number and that you guys would need to add the standard .PDF to my account in order to get the discount.
I agree the PDF's are poorly formatted. Attempting to print the pdf results in an image about half the size it should be. It looks like it was put landscape on a portrait page.
I was surprised that they were able to get the price where it is. I was expecting the price to be higher. I think the price is reasonable enough to feel ok writing in them. I do hope that they are able to unlock the other classes.
Since Bestiary 2, the Special Edition .pdf's have changed naming convention and do not sync with Fantasy grounds to give credit for purchases on fantasy grounds.
clearing cache seems to have fixed the error, but if I purchased this on Fantasy grounds, shouldn't there be a discount on the .pdf? It shows as full price in cart.
I get an error when selecting the .pdf for Lost Omens World Guide in the Paizo store. I did purchase the DLC for this on Fantasy Grounds and my account is linked if that matters.
As the elf approaches he seems as if pulled from a storybook. His features are clean and sharp, and his robes are immaculate. Dark, volcanic eyes of sapphire take in the setting. His silvery hair falls on thin shoulders, falling long enough to move slightly in even a gentle breeze.
