Really excited to run this one for my local lodge, just have a question regarding the hexploration: if the party reconnoiters a hex with no encounter but it happens to be bordering another would it be fair to draw attention to that hex? (I mean all but a certain one of course)

Also the scaling adjustments for final part levels 9-10 seems to be incorrect, would it be the same adjustment as is in levels 7-8?

I do hope this will be part of a new pocket subscription for Starfinder *fingers crossed*

The class calls in the gauntlet challenges seem very arbitrary and not necessarily in theme with the challenge. I don't know if these are supposed to be pop culture references or something?

As per the recent changes in the GM guidelines, I guess we are allowed to be lenient with regards to those (it won't increase the difficulty!) to make it more reasonable: Replacing Ranger by "Wilderness themed character" for example, Bard by "Performance themed character", etc. I suppose I'd make the choice based on a Background or a Class/ sub-class/ Dedication.

Any feedback from the Organized Play team would be appreciated.

But also, it's a delight hearing how positive Shalelu's presence is being taken! She's one of my favoritest NPCs I created, all the way back in "Burnt Offerings," and she's not even based on a previous PC I played! :-P

It says above: Preorder, expected approximately 8 Jan 2024; so probably 1-2 weeks before for subs and then Players Guide likely in 2-3 weeks mid to late December, but I’ll keep checking just in case

Most likely as a Core book, the pocket editions usually come out 3 months after the hardcover version if memory serves

Thought I’d chime in with Enraged Big Katsu’s +86 to Survival

But since I’m also in the midst of preparing to run this scenario this weekend; I’ve got big katsu at the boat launch and pit trap and wild things;
In terms of placement I was thinking putting the pit trap in the training room, could be part of the gangs training; then put the halfling and boar in the boat docks area, and finally big katsu arrives down entry stairs, biggest areas with a chance to use his size and strength to shove folk into the water of the docks
