Rather excited for Auth Day, fingers crossed everything goes through smoothly, so many excellent volumes this month

I was under the impression the single author AP was penned by James Jacobs, and Dead Gods Hand will be a single adventure module (that ended up being about 90 pages longer than anticipated), did someone say magnum opus?

Oh I did enjoy drawing rifts all over my flipmat, I just hope if you do run it the first one doesn't fire off in the complete opposite direction from the PCs like mine did

I ran this last weekend (high tier), the PCs were completely thrown off having the Hesla encounter as early as it appears, I had set the scene as though they were about to go on an infiltration to steal from her.

Thankfully we had enough CP for the hazard to be involved in the combat, if it wasn't I think that encounter would have ended in less than 2 rounds. I did enjoy the Ember Spinnner reaction, the amount of times I was asked "how many times can she do this?" made me very happy as a GM.

Even with her stripped of the scythe she could still pack a mean punch; crit on a reactive strike

The NPCs really boost the ritual points with their +20 checks, it didn't seem a massive issue to get enough for the PCs to be the stars of the finale

The player described their "werebear" barbarian sprouting dragon wings and divebombing to strike square in the demons head, I may have fudged how much damage he took just so it didn't seem anti-climatic

My biggest gripe for the scenario was the second encounter, it just felt unnecessary, after dispatching the first wave and some others that appeared it just became a waiting game of watch the sky and you know more are coming, in the end I threw down every swarm token I had in my arsenal to cover the map before the kngihts and Rain came to start the finale scene

Overall, its good with a couple of minor rough spots

In my experience it basically means your order will be shipped within next few hours

Since, as far as I can tell, this is the first time a "duplicate" book has been in the subscription for those of us who already bought the original (unlike the hardcovers of Abomination Vaults and Ruby Phoenix), is there a way to opt out other than canceling the subscription for the month?

Another update! The team is sorry for uploading the low resolution files for this! They're working on updating this one and a few others that got the same. I'll post here when it's finished!

Hey Maya, yeah the pdf file for the interactive maps for each volume of this AP just look rather blurry, I just checked and it’s the same in both versions of the download, single file and the per chapter one too. They aren’t as sharp and clean as other APs we’ve had before.

The interactive maps for this volume seem to be quite low quality, is there a chance to get better quality ones?

Oh sweet, this sounds like a fun romp

Really excited to run this one for my local lodge, just have a question regarding the hexploration: if the party reconnoiters a hex with no encounter but it happens to be bordering another would it be fair to draw attention to that hex? (I mean all but a certain one of course)

Also the scaling adjustments for final part levels 9-10 seems to be incorrect, would it be the same adjustment as is in levels 7-8?

I do hope this will be part of a new pocket subscription for Starfinder *fingers crossed*
