For reference :) It's basically Feather Fall from 1e, but as a feat/Air Elemental Impulse. So as long as we fall one by one it's fine. (Now I'm not sure if the lizard carrying shenanigans block this or not but at worst one of them should be safe :p) As a note I think the pixie also can float nicely, so for a bunch of 1st level adventurers I'd say we are pretty good at falling .p ![]()

![]() Mm the City. Huge thing it was. And beautiful in its own way. The crowds of people threatening to step on someone a quarter their size; not so much. So exploring at night it was! Just wished the peddlers and merchants were around. She would probably need to find a cooperative tall-folk to visit them. Or charter a runner or something? Eh, later problem. For now the sprite is more then content to wander the nights, sight-seeing under the light of the stars, the scattered lamps and her own soft glow. Only needed a little care to dodge the gutters and drainage grates. But oh! There were other people. She stared and waved! They didn't even look drunk out of their mind *or* in the progress of shimmying up a window. Lucky tonight! Scratch that! the sprite winces as someone yells loudly. Had never quite gotten used to how much air the tall-folk could fit into themselves and their sounds. "Yes!" the polite one was correct. It sounded like time for heroics! Erytheis hurried towards the alley as swiftly as her legs and wings could carry her in long bounding leaps. ![]()
![]() I put the boost into Str, so it's neutral at least. Also had to pick a key ability modifier - which *looked* like I could pick either - so I picked dex for that one. So whatever class features I get scale off it? Didn't see any of those yet though :p I'm thinking it'll be a slightly more magical (fey-like if you will!) version of a ranger. With fairy fire bowshots, prestidigitation for shenanigans and magical snowballs :D (I didn't actually look at the Ranger ranger. Maybe I should have and it had a better fit ... but historically ways martial classes trade into any bit of magic involves kneecapping and I don't wanna wait :p) So I'm thinking the magical side will be covered by my herbalist master - or perhaps a witch further up the hierarchy? Plus general fey culture training in being sneaky, annoying and prick bullying mortals with bows. It was delightful to see that skills seemed free/not tied to a class. I wanted acrobatics + stealthy for shenanigans, diplomacy to be somewhat helpful and then I was left with one pick to build on the actually helpful side of the herbalism. In the end I slotted medicine there; hoping mundane healing is a bit shinier in pf2 then pf1 :p But nature/survival were the contenders. Would probably have depended on party composition tbh, they're all pretty close. Anyhow rambling aside! I envision the Root Magic evolving into real magic. Not quite as focused on it to the exclusion of other things like a witch or shaman, but that'll still be what "I" grew up doing :) Oh and a bow would be the weapon of choice. ![]()

In 1e there would be a few ways to build that - even a prc whose name I didn't want to use for the concept - so let's see how this works out. Too bare? Too narrow? Slightly better AC/TL due to upgraded armour. Slightly better shields. Found a button that let me do linked guns so we now have 2 slighty worse particle beans that count as one. In effect we moved up from 10d6 to 16d6 - but this is technically a downgrade, duplication and edit. So we'll see if it gets GMs approval :) I encourage you to go to the site and plop in the json file (you paste the text into the box that says paste text here :P) and see if you can tinker with it a bit, as this is only a suggestion :) ![]()

That'd open up her targeting options a bit - but for now she'd pop a shot at the water one. Trick Attack: Move then Shoot Water Elemental. Movement does not provoke from the target of the trick attack! Trick!: 2d10 + 19 + 4 ⇒ (6, 5) + 19 + 4 = 34 Attack!: 2d10 + 11 ⇒ (4, 3) + 11 = 18 Damage?
